I know more than one Red Sox fan who turns off his television in disgust and despair, moaning "Here we go again", if the Sox hurler gives up a base hit in the top of the first. C'mon, what you do in October is more important than what you do in May.

There is no shortage of good news from Iraq. Some of it is even hidden on the front page of the NY Times.
