Will The Angry Man manage to attract new voters and energize his base with his passion and conviction? Or will centrists peer in confusion at their television screens and wonder, who is this little man yelling at me, and why is his face so red?
Republican strategists are worried, and are finally noticing the obvious:
"He has the biggest potential to go down in flames, but he also has a certain wild-card potential," said former Minnesota Republican representative Vin Weber.
"A slugger's chance" is what they call it in sporting circles.
But, amidst the hype, let us not fail to respect the wisdom of the classics: at some point in the campaign, we should be treated to "Dean is waxing wroth... well, tell Wroth to wax Dean for a while".
I saw Dean in New Hampshire yesterday. To me he seemed robotic (like Al Gore). Your opinion?

Oh, how great would that be if the Doctor caught the Gore disease?

I think Howard Dean is hilarious. A robot? absolutely not. Out of control? uh yea. until he gets "advised" to tone it down..then he looks like a scolded child.
as fer the robot comment...they really need to moderate this board.
irrelevant/innaccurate comments should be removed.
vote bush 04!

I feel that Dean is impassioned rather than angry. He seems like your everyday shmoe whose upset at the way the "right" is turning us round about and into a wall. He’s passionate about and upon his beliefs, and he points it out. Unlike other such politicians whom read off of cards with faces set like an obelisk. Dean isn't a politician, he doesn't "play" his cards, nor does he try to win the vote, people should respect him for being so openly upset at where our country is going, they should respect him because he’s not trying to sway or push them towards him with propaganda CRAP, like our self selected president
