Tom is way too smart. It almost happened in DC on the 4th of July but I think he thought better of it.

A poster above was asking about the Trinity church donation - I found this-

"The Obamas donated $60,307 to charity, including $13,107 to the Congressional Black Caucus 501(c)(3) Foundation; $15,000 to CARE; $5,000 to the Muntu Dance Theater, where Michelle Obama sits on its board; $22,500 to their church, Trinity United Church of Christ, and $4,700 in other charitable contributions"

Uh oh, breaking news, Obama denounces Wrights bad words.

YAWN

Jane

So Wright said 911 was America's fault and he said that the Sunday after 911.

It seems to me if you are ever going to go to church it will be that day. Is Obama saying he wasn't there?

Fellow worshiper Rev Dwight Hopkins on FOX is not doing BO any good. He wasn't shocked by the remarks at all because he took them in context of the Old testiment.

Patrick R. Sullivan
Oh and Tom Sullivan is a pretty good sit in.

Yes, my cousin is consistently the best guest host for Rush. Tom is a CPA who does a talk show in Sacramento built around investing and taxes.

Okay, so apparently Obama's handlers have him alleging he never attended a sermon in which the Rev Wright spoke with such hatred.

So basically they are going the McCain/Hagee route - McCain not a member of the church of Hagee, so never heard the Hagee sermons, Obama never attended mass when the Rev Wright sermonized.

Too bad Obama's team didn't think of that route prior to Obama's own wife spewing the same Rev Wright vitriol which IMO pretty much confirms that SHE in fact was in attendance, or she in fact follows the tenets of the Trinity United Church to a T.

So unless Obama not wants to denounce his wife's anti-American rhetoric as well - he is still in the same old shit boat.

Someone said it before...

I'd bet real money that there exists video footage of Obama at one of these types of sermons.

And I would further bet that there exists video footage of Michelle head nodding and uh-huh-ing at such a sermon.

Unfortunately, I would also bet that any such footage is in the hands of a fellow nutso black nationalist.

Fox just playing some new anti-Semitic Wright crazypants stuff..
HEH HEH Heh..

Jane

Yup and he's been planning all day how to handle that news.

This could end up being a nail in his coffin. Is the MSM reporting it? Anyone still get those channels?

Jane

The reverend that Fox has on who is a member of the church and was defending the pastor was a little mind-blowing for reasons I can't yet articulate (which doesn't stop me from trying).

He seemed to be saying that what Wright was saying was justified - but in a non-defiant way.

Did anyone else see it?

clarice

I did. It was not helpful to Obama (or Blacks). His point was this was just the way we talk--it's political in an Old Testament sense, yada yada,,Very bad.

clarice

The important thing, is that Obama hasn't yet visited Bob Jones University. LOL

Jane

I really think this could be the end of Obama. He's going on all the cable shows tonite.

He also admitted today that he was much more closely tied to Rezko and that Rezko raised a lot more money for him than he first admitted.

The guy who is all about "judgment" seems to be lacking some.
