| Trayvon Martin - Why The Ten Day Suspension? »
The New Black Panthers has offered a $10,000 reward for the capture, "Dead or Alive", of George Zimmerman.
Controversial? Yes. But I infer from the empty Times search results that the New Black Panthers don't qualify as All The News That Fits The Narrative.

From what I read, Jorge Zimmerman has been thoroughly *vetted* by the media including his family history going back twenty years. I'm sure the Featherists will have something vile to add about Catholics.

Something that I'm wondering about -- if a kid armed with nothing but a bag of Skittles can break a guys nose and scrape up the back of his head, where are the calls for increased Skittle-control laws? Shouldn't there be background checks for buyers, waiting periods, concealed carry permits, etc.?

No report on whether Rev Jackson is enroute.

"Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of 'exploiting' the Trayvon Martin tragedy to 'racially divide this country.' 'His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,' Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller. The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton 'race hustlers' and said they are 'acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.'"

cathyf: not to mention the increases in health care costs with regard to excessive use of skittles and iced tea - both to one's own self and other's (say, when placed into a pillowcase (or hoodie) and used to beat people about the head). The silence regarding this obvious need for more government intervention is most curious.
