--This president has brought us out of the dark and into the light.--

Is everyone in America a racist?

quite an accomplishment for the first White African American President ...

If God had a son, he'd look like Obama.

What no 'Poltergeist' reference;

I think she meant "Out of the frying pan and into the fire."

Thank Goodness! a Michelle Obama thread on the second anniversary of Let's Move!

Danube of Thought

In other news, the head-to-head polls are starting to look a bit grim for the Son of Man.

Melinda Romanoff

A bit of confirmation of earlier discussions for "the file".

Thought you might want that one.

I've wondered about this, essentially the prelude to warlordism in modern garb,

Matthew 7:6 "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.

"Out of the smog, and into the fog,
Relentlessly, ruthlessly , doggedly ... toward his weekly meeting with... the unknown"

What's with the Italiactos tonight?

Cruel, cruel. LUN

From the comments:
I don't know who's more stupid, the idiots thinking they can get free Obama money out of the back of a 99c store, or the idiots thinking they can get rich by stealing the identities of welfare recipients.

Strawman Cometh

Good place for this: Obama bites dog

So glad there's a new thread. KK, BuBu, DuDa and Sylvia have vanished along with B'O B and I was about to suggest we all work together on a dirty novel to keep from falling asleep.

More mockery of Obama, LUN
Former NASA astronaut and “the first mother to fly in space” Dr. Anna Fisher took a veiled shot at President Obama and his space policies Tuesday during an interview ....[The interviewer] pulled a little boy named Ethan out of the crowd who was dressed up as a NASA pilot and asked him if he wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up, which he answered in the affirmative.
“Any advice for Ethan, an aspiring astronaut?” ....

“Study Russian,” Fisher quipped, to laughter.....The Obama Administration ended the 30-year space shuttle program last summer...American astronauts presently have to pay Russia $63 million a seat to reach the International Space Station.

Well at least she didn't claim Obama would get your clothes whiter than white.

I must concede that Obama is as single-mindedly dedicated to his mission as Jesus to His - BHO's goal is to end the era of American exceptionalism and dominance to give socialism and islam a fair chance.

But Michelle has the light-into-dark part backwards. Perhaps if she had some skin in the game . . .?

If God had a son, he'd look like Obama.

TK - I vote that the comment of the night year.

Thank God, tax season is over, I have missed 6 weeks of TM/GZ threads, new commenters, and new trolls, and all that came to a big conclusion when my computer died at work this morning.

I have no idea what you all are talking about, analyzing, or mincing and dicing, but, soon, I hope I will.

In the meantime, go team!! (the girl gang member with the droopy pom-poms said before diving into her pillow).

Melinda Romanoff

Your computer's death was probably not photo related.

OMG, the Obama bites dog is hilarious!
Strawman, where were you when DubDav was flapping his gums over Mitt's treatment of the family dog? :)

Q: What does Obama do when his dog gets stuck?
A: Grabs a toothpick.

The problem lies with reimaginings like Greg MacGuire's Wicked, which make the Bad witch just misunderstood, and make the Good Witch, not so nice, up is down, black is white, Starsky is Hutch.

Strawman Cometh

Shootin' squirrels

The funny thing about the warlord culture is that they all so distrust each other, that they hide their wealth out of the country, lest it be stolen by rivals..

MT will attest to that.

G'night all.

Soylent Red

In other news, the head-to-head polls are starting to look a bit grim for the Son of Man.

The difference between Jesus and Barry? Jesus knows who his Daddy is.
(Also, Jesus doesn't think he's Barack Obama...but that's an old joke)

I was about to suggest we all work together on a dirty novel to keep from falling asleep.

It was a dark and muddy night...

Very funny stuff, Strawman.

Too funny!

From "PartymanRandy" in comments on the Obama Bites Dog linked by Strawman@10:32

Exclusive look inside the Obama campaign headquarters:

Similar things seem to be true, about the Russian ruling clas, WEB Griffin, or more likely his son, dubbed them 'the Oprichniki'
after Ivan the Terribles marauding hordes,

Captain Hate

I was about to suggest we all work together on a dirty novel to keep from falling asleep.

narc was talking about Joe Eszterhas on the other thread; maybe we can write a new script for "Showgirls"

LOl, that was an atrocious film, worse than
StarShip Troopers. which retroactively proves
Charlie Sheen is an idiot,

Strawman Cometh

The 3 AM phone call:

Bill Ayers: Who the hell is this, oh, hey Bamster, waz up?

0bama: I can't believe you put this dog-eating sh!t in my book. What else is in there?

Just saw PBS' Frontline.

Investigated how Forensic evidence and accreditation are often bogus.

Very interesting.

Could audio experts not be experts? JOM and Frontline want to know.

Captain Hate

Yeah, Joe's laughable excuses for that pile of garbage revealed to all the Whoreyweird dumbasses that couldn't see through his self serving crap what plenty of rubes in Cleveland already knew. They may have eventually recouped some of their jack from DVD rentals for people giving it the Mystery Science 3000 treatment so maybe those idiots ended up with more than they deserved.

Captain Hate

0bama: I can't believe you put this dog-eating sh!t in my book. What else is in there?

A girl with a voice like windchimes.

Strawman Cometh

This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light (meat).

Is she talkin' chicken or ..?

She's obviously talking about Chicago, where folks are dropping like flies.

Ayers included this little gem:

"I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination..."

He had it all along?!?

The allusion probably matches up best with 1 Peter 2:9..."But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people to be his very own and to proclaim the wonderful deeds of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."

It's lovely to be "Obama's people"...let's proclaim his oh so wonderful deeds.

Yup, the WS is stretching here with the Jesus stuff. You could probably find Gandalf saying something like that somewhere in the Two Towers. Or, even better, Hitler. They should run with that just for laughs.

Strawman Cometh

That is fascinating. Was the article from the Nairobi News?

Straw, the full quote is here:

It is just before the baby O asks the steamshovel if it is his mother.

Treacher mentioned a twitter accout - #Obamadogrecipes. Hah!

"I was about to suggest we all work together on a dirty novel to keep from falling asleep.

It was a dark and muddy night..."
...somewhere in the Maldives.

If they truly believe in collectivism & reject individualism (and I think she does), than I think she has quite a claim of moving the ball down-field. Of course, when the masses are starving in the streets (and shoes are no longer made of leather to boil up & eat), she'll just push for more of "light".

Jack is Back!

He forgot the recipe for monkey brains. Not a true Javian unless you have partaken of that delicacy. I guess even a scumball like Ayers couldn't stomach writing that scenario.

Jane (where is Jon Corzine?)

Janet! Are you having fun?

CC I've exploded 3 computers in the last 3 months including one owned by a client. It's in the air.

Is it possible for a president to sign an executive order repealing all acts by the president for the last 4 years?

Sandy Daze

A couple excerpts from the homily of Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, at the Mass during the April 14 "A Call to Catholic Men of Faith" in Peoria:

The Church will survive the entrenched corruption and sheer incompetence of our Illinois state government, and even the calculated disdain of the President of the United States, his appointed bureaucrats in HHS, and of the current majority of the federal Senate.

May God have mercy on the souls of those politicians who pretend to be Catholic in church, but in their public lives, rather like Judas Iscariot, betray Jesus Christ by how they vote and how they willingly cooperate with intrinsic evil.

. . .
Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services, and health care.

In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama – with his radical, pro abortion and extreme secularist agenda, now seems intent on following a similar path.

Now things have come to such a pass in America that this is a battle that we could lose, but before the awesome judgement seat of Almighty God this is not a war where any believing Catholic may remain neutral.

This fall, every practicing Catholic must vote, and must vote their Catholic consciences, or by the following fall our Catholic schools, our Catholic hospitals, our Catholic Newman Centers, all our public ministries -- only excepting our church buildings – could easily be shut down. Because no Catholic institution, under any circumstance, can ever cooperate with the instrinsic evil of killing innocent human life in the womb.

. . .

Christus vincit! Christus regnat! Christus imperat!

Christ wins! Christ reigns! Christ commands!

The tsunami builds.

I like that Clarice, Soylent and Janet:

"It was a dark and muddy night...
...somewhere in the Maldives."

Where the Greenies have been expecting the oceans to rise and cover those low-lying islands.

But as of 2011, the Greenies are still wrong.

Meanwhile, in the Falklands there are mountains.

Feel free to continue the story... :)

Heh. Corey was live on Nancy Grace - March 27, before she announced the conclusion of her so-called "investigation."

These are the men Obama was trying to insult.

Full picture and LUN.

Captain Hate

Thanks for that link BR. Bad enough that the JEF goes into his fake "Spanish" accent to insult our friends but then botches the slam because of his arrogant stupidity. But never forget: Bush was the dumb one who hurt our standing in the world with his gaffes.

Falklands War 1982
Netanyahu early 80's
Obama early 80's

Just read this thread this morning-- best group of comments of the year: TK's look like Obama line; Strawman's Obama-Ayers dialogue, and even a Mystery Science 30o0 reference by CaptH; If Clarice's smutty novel idea takes off, this thread should win Tom M a Pulitzer.

PS: Sandy, that quote isn't really from an Easter Sunday homily-- is it?

PPS-- BR posting the Falklands, Bibi, and 'Bam photos kinda explains why Bibi and 'Bam don't get along--no?

Sandy Daze

the excerpts are from the homily of Bishop Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, at the Mass during the April 14 "A Call to Catholic Men of Faith" in Peoria.

OT-- so our friends in Nork after a failed long range missle test are planning a compact Uranium nuke warhead test. These tests are of course for their customers the Mullahs. All the Mullahs are doing is enriching the uranium for the warhead and missles being built for them by the NorKs. It may be the Hermit Kingdom, but everybody's gotta eat, and the NorKs eat by hastening the day the 12th Iman returns. Enjoy the rest of your day:

Fun thread, but an O/T interruption. The PPP poll that shows Walker ahead also has info in the 4 senate recalls. Right now they have 3 Rs up by double digits (including the empty seat where the incumbent resigned), and the fourth (Wanggaard) with a 2 point lead. (via radio).

Very surprising, nobody believes the margins are that big. But both sides agree it looks like 3 R's are leading with one toss-up.

He really read that?-- hmm; Peoria is a long way from University Church at Fordham U.

So what's happened is that the oceans have risen so much that the smartest President ever got confused because the Malvinas were covered with water and resembled the low lying Maldives. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Henry-- speaking for myself-- your OT Wisc interruptions are always welcome.

"only excepting our church buildings"

In country after country when Islam reigns:

"DESTROY! ALL CHURCHES says Arab & World Top Religious Leader Mar.2012"

IMO, it will not be only the Catholics, it will be all Christians and all churches losing if the Obama regime wins a second term.

A butterfly flapped its wings three thousand years from now and there was an end to tyranny here and now and forever.

Yes, I know 'we are not of the body'. I was just thinking watching Braveheart, that the Maccabees might have turned out well, if Mel
was'nt fracken insane,

Who is 'they'?

I hate to admit it, but I'm about to get curious about the Trayvon thing, and this is the curiosity. Obviously, this has been a created narrative. Why is it that the narrative was created around an incident with facts that will ultimately betray the narrative?

Were the creators of the narrative subject to such hubris that they ignored the facts. Did they think they had the power to overwhelm the facts? Did they not know the facts?

Much stuff to ponder. Also, who had the white hat, and whose ground was he standing on?

BTW-- I'm all for respecting different cultures and all, but eating dog? No way, that's a universal no, no, dogs are our best friends on this Earth, and eating them is contrary to Gaia. That little bit from Ayers is gonna be a story for a week, just like muncher Hilary Rosen's bit about house moms. 'Bam will lose a couple of points on Gallup and Raz.

Once upon a time I was on a ship and great laughter broke out, I think it was the Italians who started it, and although no one really knew who started the joke or why we were laughing, I smiled that 3,000 years from now we'll all remember and laugh about it again :)

Whois-- to the racialist hustlers and the legacy media-- there is no 'truth' there is only the narrative.

Thanks for that NG transcript, cboldt. Joe Oliver did a good job on behalf of GZ. Natalie Jackson showed her true colors with the lie that GZ claimed Trayvon pulled him out of his vehicle. If true, this tidbit from Oliver should answer some questions:

OLIVER: That they happened. We are efforting, rather, a picture that was taken by one of the police investigators on the scene on an iPhone before George was cleaned up to show the severity of the beating.

LUN is in honor of henry and I believe gus and confirms what melinda has been saying all along.

Truth is written by the victors.

And make no mistake .... in this cultural war, liberals are fighting to win.

rse, IL is now 3 years in arrears in paying corp tax refunds. Oddly enough we got the CA refund check (for 2011 tax) yesterday. IL is the worst run state in the US.

This is a thoughtful post about how Obama (and Oprah) fed us drivel to get Obama elected. also, if younscroll down, there is an excellent article about Zimmerman.

Mooshelle's "into the light speech". Meh-- she just reads whatever those 20-something pothead WH speechwriters scribble down. It did remind me of the speeches in MAN WHO WOULD BE KING where Peachy Carnehan is drumming up support for Danny Dravot as Sitandra God of the Afghan. My favorite: "Peachy Carnehan: Danny's only a man. But he break wind at both ends simultaneous - which is more, I reckon, than any god can do." Can 'Bam break wind at both ends simultaneously? WHY YES HE CAN!! He must be a God! Let's send him to Kafiristan!

Melinda Romanoff

Are you running BadBlue in another tab?

--Oddly enough we got the CA refund check (for 2011 tax) yesterday.--

It's actually been my experience that most CA government units are fairly well run; I speak specifically of the Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization, Department of Justice and Secretary of State and of course my main regulator the CA Dept of Fire and Forest Protection or whatever its latest name is.
Urban schools are a mess, the DMV is as always the DMV and the courts are clogged beyond belief and the totality of government is a disaster of course, but as long as you can find an individual to deal with they're usually pretty responsive or at least I've been very fortunate.

Is everyone in America a racist?

I wasn't until these 2 showed up.

-- Thanks for that NG transcript, cboldt --

Thanks. Sorry it was off topic :-(

First time that I've heard of a prosecutor in a high profile case going on Nancy Grace or some other pseudo-law program, before the charges were filed and before the case was concluded in court. Some have pointed to ethical rules that allegedly bar prosecutors from this sort of conduct.

No, I hadn't but thanks for reminding me;

Treacher is being savage, and like with Bgates, i'm glad he's on our side

Hybris. It's been around a while.

Yes, fdcol63, fighting to win. But something is awry with the tactics, despite an awesome and overwhelming advantage with strategy, per rse. Over and over again, the narratives are just too fictional, too ideal, too much.

GErry Rivers can be a pain, but won't ever here this from Richard Engel

Narc-- PLEASE WARN everybody before they open the director blue link that there is a vomitous photo of Mooshelle in the link. "My eyes!!!, my eyes!!!"

Danube of Thought

Minus 17 at Raz today.

Trails Romney by 4.

Melinda Romanoff

Messages get garbled when you strategize in a room full of sycophants.

"Did they think they had the power to overwhelm the facts?"

Ask Arpaio.

LUN on Betraying Every Ally is a stark reminder of just how much more dangerous the world has become from the ridiculous policies. Apart from the spending us to BR and Corporatist industrial policies for political allies.

On tactics kim, a 1986 booklet arrived yesterday that definitively establishes the link I was hoping for.

Plus the GSA scandal is such a vivid reminder of why using govt agency operations to establish a concept "works" is ludicrous. It's OPM and there are no consequences to operating badly. And that's to be model mandated for private sector?

Not so fast.

Captain Hate

Well this one garners at least one pinocchios, one quarter true, and I'm being charitable

Please give me a Richard "don't call me Dick" Cohen warning in the future. "At least one Pinocchio" is grading on a curve.

Well I was referring to the Pelosi commercial

Melinda Romanoff

Along those lines, WaPo is reporting that DC fires 61 municipal employees for collecting unemployment while working for city.

Narc's hawaii link includes a EIA and BLS chart that reminds me why $100+/barrell crude is primarily a dollar debasement event. Look at the chart, stable Dollar stable oil 1987-1999. the oil bubble began just after the Tech Bubble burst and hot money started chasing something other than equities. Greenspan's too loose money 2003-2005 accelerated the oil bubble, the Lehman collapse and credit freeze popped the Oil Bubble and it dropped to $40/Barrell in early 2009, since then its increased 150%. Is world demand up 150% -- course not oil demand is flat to slight down. I know Mel R disagrees, but to me yhe oil bubble is primarily a dollar event.

Well there is that, although Greenspan did hike rates between 2004-2006, and that along with gas prices, 'popped the bubble' one is reminded in Preston's comments section, about
this, there were no vapors then

GSA in Vegas/DC City workers on unemployment? High gas prices and high unemployment by themselves will dethrown BarryI, the added bonus is the proven uselessness and corruption of BIG Government. Goodbye Barry.

Captain Hate

Thanks for that link rse.

Btw, El JEFe will be staining Ohio today with a visit to Lorain Community College. Even in such a toady laden forum it will be by invitation only, ostensibly to keep Ted Nugent away since the Secret Service will either be hungover, in rehab or being tested for stds. I'm wondering if Sherrod Brown has misplaced his invitation or has some "constituent service" matters to keep him away from the pep rally.

'Reality based'. Ah, ya gotta luv it.

Yes, TK. But it's illusion, and fades on touch.

CaptH-- is it possible S Brown loses in November?
