I wonder whether American PC progs will attack Romney over these remarks. The Obama campaign would then have to placate the PC prog base without risking alienating Dem supporters of Israel.

Even Dick Cheney gets it wrong once in a while. Sarah Palin was more qualified to lead than McCain.

Speaking of President "Gutsy Call" ...
At the urging of Valerie Jarrett, President Barack Obama canceled the operation to kill Osama bin Laden on three separate occasions before finally approving the May 2, 2011 Navy SEAL mission, according to an explosive new book scheduled for release August 21. The Daily Caller has seen a portion of the chapter in which the stunning revelation appears.
In ”Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him,“ Richard Miniter writes that Obama canceled the “kill” mission in January 2011, again in February, and a third time in March. Obama’s close adviser Valerie Jarrett persuaded him to hold off each time, according to the book.

Hopefully Romney's visit to Poland is a sign that we're going to re-establish alliance with them under his administration. The Poles are good allies and generally loved America and Americans up until about 2009. Forget what happened to change their mind...

There's a little button in the lower righthand corner which says 'this is not an infected site' or something similar that you can click.

sailor: I did earlier this morning and DC Caller on Twitter is saying that although the warning is still showing up, the malware was gotten rid of. They say they are waiting for Google crawler, whatever that is, to remove the warning.

Romney is making Oblammy look like "Mr. Out of Touch" with his timely visits to Israel and Poland. Also So far so good in London thanks to his warning to step up security. I feel safer knowing someone has a clue about our safety, world relations and how to get the economy moving again.
OT: How come we keep seeing Obama adds during the Olympics? I know NBC is his network but Sheesh...

"Gxxgle crawler"
Is Gxxgle intentionally screwing up sites or have the Reds running the collective just lost their 'touch'?
I'd like to know if Governor Romney discussed NG in Poland as well as in Israel. Both countries are sitting on enough gas to disrupt the Russian/OPEC oligopoly and a Romney plan which entailed encouraging the conversion of the suburban ring transport system to NG would, IMO, be a winner. What's not to like about commuter vehicles running on the equivalent of $1 per gallon gas?

Der Speigel has already weighed in the Romney is incompetent, so we got that going for us.
And the news that ValJar had any say whatsofrickinever on Bin Laden missions is, to me, a devastating condemnation of a feckless President.

Maybe Lessadolla would like to chat with BuBu from her cell:
"While NAACP President Benjamin Jealous lashed out at new state laws requiring photo ID for voting, an NAACP executive sits in prison, sentenced for carrying out a massive voter fraud scheme. In a story ignored by the national media, in April a Tunica County, Miss., jury convicted NAACP official Lessadolla Sowers on 10 counts of fraudulently casting absentee ballots. Sowers is identified on an NAACP website as a member of the Tunica County NAACP Executive Committee."

More detail on what DoT reported:
I'm glad she's serving time but *very* upset that she didn't get the full rip for each of her crimes thanks to whatever reason the judge has for allowing her to serve them concurrently. And bravo, MFM, for sitting on this story like the sanctimonious idiots you are.

((Mitt Romney and the ‘wimp’ factor))
The subtitle is irony, cubed.
Barry is perhaps the most insecure imbecile we've ever had as president and yet it's Romney they try to tag with the 'insecure' label even as they also label him a clinch jawed, iron fisted, capitalist roader, robber baron.

Well, a prog mindless talking point that Romney is a wimp and Obama an Osama slaying man's man is no less plausible than the 2008 meme that Obama would transcend partisan politics, bring back hope and bring positive change. When you're trying to slice and dice your way to a victory in the Electoral College with a 48-51 popular vote split, every little idiot meme to entice every idiot to vote for you makes sense.
Posted by: Thomas Collins | July 30, 2012 at 12:12 PM
--and Obama an Osama slaying man's man--
Which is why getting the weird little dwarf ValJar's permission is especially harmful to the imbecile in mommy jeans.

See LUN (via Instapundit) for an article pointing out that Romney's being unapologetically pro-Israel is key for putting himself in the American exceptionalism camp in contrast with Obama being in the America through the lens of Rev. Wright camp. Support for Israel is not primarily directed at prying Jewish voters from the Dem column.

This whole orchestrated campaign to pretend that Romney "isn't ready" and is a foreign policy neophyte is hilarious.
It's not just funny, because it draws the comparison to our Bower in Chief and how all the last campaign's feel good bull droppings turned into genuine foreign policy disasters. But the kids running around the White House are obviously too young to remember how poorly a similar effort failed the last time it was tried.
The more the press and Carter tried to portray Reagan the same way they are now trying with Romney, the more swing voters became aware of the differences between the weakling twit -- yet incredibly arrogant -- incumbent and the challenger.
The only people who are horrified that a candidate might offend the delicate sensibilities of certain foreign grandees and parasites are already (or should be) firmly in the One's camp. When you're preaching to your own choir, this late in the game, you are either desperate or dumb. Probably both.

My heart soars like the hawk:
"The Obama effort to play the class-warfare card doesn’t play at all among voters in general, with tax hikes for the wealthy coming in dead last among the dozen issues included in the Gallup survey. It doesn’t even play well among Obama supporters, where it also comes in dead last. Job creation comes in at #2 for both Romney and Obama supporters, with the federal deficit slightly more important among the former and affordable health care taking the top spot among the latter."

Am I the only one baffled by the “wimp” campaign against Romney—formerly the class bully? In this race we have an emaciated, effete, and decidedly metrosexual President running on one side and the other side has just a regular guy. How, in this race, can anyone but Obama be the wimp? Is this an appeal for the Catholic vote?
The "big" problem is that Mitt got selected. And, Iowa was a mess. Why can't the GOP field more appealing candidates?
Didn't 2008 teach some sort of lesson? McCain got chosen because there was a false belief he'd attract democratic voters.
Instead, the White Guy Lost To The Black Guy.
Rinse and repeat?
Posted by: Carol Herman | July 30, 2012 at 03:21 PM
MarkO,
Empty quiver. Firing all the white guys who used to give him chew toys and scratch his ears has proven to have unforeseen (by the President) consequences.
Posted by: Rick Ballard | July 30, 2012 at 03:25 PM
If you look at 2010, you can see the GOP's problems.
The victory in da' House, that tossed Pelosi out of the Speaker's Office, brought in the over-tanned drunken guy! Oh. And, the Tea Party was told to "cool it. And, go home."
Then, over in the senate, where Harry Reid held onto his powers ... you saw the chinless wonder from Kentucky heading into the spotlight.
Wow. The GOP is full of such polite people!
In a democratic audience ... you'd have seen rotten tomatoes thrown at that!
But the GOP is so "regulation," that catering to voters is not what's served among the elite.
IF you had had a Nigel Farage! IF you had had someone who would have called out BOTH SIDES for being the same! You might have stood a chance in 2012 to beat a man who has found his best dance NOT going over the top and getting involved in either the EURO shinanigans. Or the ones going on where arabs spring has sprung a few holes.
IF Obama gets re-elected? People like being left alone.
IF this needs a name? It's the "less is more" approach.
Mitt in London was a waste of time.
Now he's in Poland?
He couldn't find any place in America worth visiting? He doesn't look like a millionaire to you?

Romney is highlighting his differences with Obama while Obama looks more like an inept, clumsy tool every day.
Der Spiegel and the British press lambasted him, but for what, really? Speaking as a former president of an Olympics and for calling a Palestinian a Palestinian. Romney is touching all of the bases and building international cred whether the media and leftist establishment like it or not.
Pelosi and Obama have been forced into a Chick Fil A vs. KFC ground loop fer chrissake! bama is accused of taking his marching orders from Valerie Jarrett? Really? Michelle wear's a month's good wages for her visit to the Palace. I wonder if she bowed?
The Bishops have not gone away, and a Catholic firm just won Round One on the contraception mandate.
Carville is calling for a scorched earth offensive and the President's "You didn't build that" is resonating across the fruited plain.
By going for the Left, the Dems are leaving the middle behind. Fiscal responsibility, prudence, and letting the Dems foul their own nest seem to be working pretty well so far.
