lucky Clenis didn't get his hands on her.

He has better taste. Except for Hill, of course.

rich@gmu

yikes. I am partial to Indian and Pakistani women so I don't think huma is unattractive, but whoa, she knows how to pickum'...can only imagine what she is like to have attracted that cast of characters around her.

Bori

Speaking of stores closing, how about one not opening because the bribe requested was too much.

Good for Trader Joe's. Don't go where you're not wanted; their loss. I don't go to Starbucks, as their CEO says I'm not welcome, because I don't believe in Sodomite 'marriage'.

Why, with all the fracking going on (over the protests of the hypocrites who claimed to want "energy independence"), is there a propane shortage? Isn't that a byproduct of refining oil?

henry

Logistics fail CH. One supply pipeline down for repairs. Farmers used extra because of wet harvest. Cold weather with no breaks = higher usage. There is plenty of propane -- in Cushing. Not enough trucks to get it north fast enough to catch up with demand.

miss Marple

Indiana has declared an emergency due to propane shortage. Pence and 5 other governors sent a letter to Obama asking for federal help.

Fat chance.

henry

Miss M, from what I hear the help involves loans to distributors to cover more expensive inventory and relaxation of truck driver hours limits to allow supply to catch up (running the trucks longer each day is quicker than building more trucks).

but I've been using the CBO (hey, if we're looking at them for Obamacare stats...

It's always in the first place you look! I have looked at CBO income distribution tables many times but could I find one today???

Thanks.

Can you say 'Hillary as a victim 5 times without stopping...

Surely you mean "without laughing".

I agree that the prospect of electing a female to President will be strong...

I wonder if there will be some thought that maybe we don't need another affirmative action hire quite so soon after the last debacle. I'm keeping hope alive!

Of course, she does have that tremendous record as the Boss' Wife, not to mention her stint as Secretary of Stasis.

Which will be met with the reaction that you are a sexist jerk who clearly hates women.

But I don't think that many people love Hillary. So I am keeping hope alive.

Thanks for the feedback, Henry.

Just guessin'

Pool of drivers might be small, too.

My pleasure. You put "quartiles" in the post above....should be quintiles.

Brookings shows a lot of losers but I am thinking that it also over-estimates the number of winners. For both winners and losers, most of the costs are real and most of the benefits imaginary.

The ACA gives the poor something they don't really want and can't use. The point of health insurance is not to provide health care, drag yourself to a hospital and you are entitled to receive care regardless of ability to pay. The point is to protect the insured's financial assets from health care costs when the insured has the ability to pay.

Do the Obamacare "winners" really have money or other assets which they might lose in the event of a catastrophic illness?
