Women are allergic to water, or just the dihydrogen oxide it contains? The EPA should ban the substance.

henry

Water vapor causes Global Warming (for reals). Its use must be banned.

Porchlight

a lifetime of being a non-athlete who is uncertain where the next clean restroom will be.

When is the last time Hillary Clinton was within 100 feet of an unclean restroom that she would actually have been expected to use?

Probably at least 30 years ago.

jimmyk

I recall there was a presidential candidate who got ridiculed for drinking water. Maybe Hillary just got spooked?

Robin, adorable deplorable me

Guy thrown out of the Asheville rally last night after getting punched (shoved) is a high school friend of a good friend of mine. We just had quite the altercation about it.

I asked, why go to a rally for a candidate you hate unless you are there to bait audience members? He asked for it.

She did not respond. Swing dance will be awkward next Sunday.

Eric in Boise

In before the vodka jokes?

squaredance

Obviously, they are just trying to keep the "oh it was just dehydration...nothing serious" propaganda alive.

This is what they came up with overnight? All those MSM geniuses?

Trump should ignore the whole thing completely, and least until after the first debate, and start figuring out how he is going to counter the massive voter fraud coming our way.

Let them fumble around with this--I am actually surprised at how poorly the Clinton people and the MSM are dealing with this.

Porchlight

Breaking: Hillary's enemies list has been revealed

squaredance

Robin, you should send her links that show trump supporters have been treated: sent to hospitals for beatings, spray painted cars.

My experience is that if you go to the class and behave civilly and do not try to provoke, that they will get over it. They may not remain good friends, but they will be civil. None of my business, of course, but stick to your guns.

DebinNC

Dehydration is so easily avoided, and HC didn't appear to be sweating at 9:30 a.m.. What excuse is there for ignoring her doctor's orders and become dehydrated at all?

Robin, adorable deplorable me

Porch -

This election season has been the most fun ever.

maryrose

Square dance:
There are no credible lies to counteract the video.
You are correct.
Their spin machine is just spinning its wheels.
She is fake and phony and once again a proven liar trying to conceal the truth from American voters.
Henry:
Out and out fraud in Wisconsin.
They are desperate to keep that state for the Democrats.
People will watch for voter fraud and defy the Dems this time just like the Miami-Dade recount kerfuffle.
I loved Tom Delay in what I consider his best hourTheft in Progress and repubs banging on the doors of the recount center.

Threadkiller

Water bottles must be harder to open than pickle jars.

Threadkiller

Got the email, BoE.

Thanks!

James D

Dehydration is easily avoided...but it can be deadly, and it doesn't really take very long to do permanent damage.

My Mom almost died because of kidney failure when she got herself dehydrated a few years ago. If I'd come by her apartment an hour or two later, she might not have made it.

Jack is Back!

That Q&A with Anderson Cooper should have been "voice stress" analyzed since she provided another volume or basket of lies. She's not a pathological liar but a scatological liar.

Her pantsuits must be made out of asbestos.

Porchlight

Robin,

I don't ever want it to end. As the Reddit kids say, memes are coming true before our eyes every day. :)

Porchlight

A list of all the stories:

"She felt overheated"

"It was pneumonia, antibiotics, no biggie" (no discussion of why she would be out and about with contagious pneumonia

"Dehydration - we can't get her to drink water"

"Staffers are getting sick too, see, everyone has it"

"She never lost consciousness"

"This is something she 'usually is able to avoid' [her words]" - She usually has pneumonia?

Bill says that this "frequently," oops, "rarely" happens

All because some brave soul filmed a 20-second video and put it on the internet. Otherwise we would know nothing about it.

DebinNC

Deplorable t-shirts at Amazon.

Robin, adorable deplorable me

Square dance, she's generally pretty reasonable. We are both reading "Hillbilly Elegy" for a discussion group, and I've shared tons of links with her. She just went off the deep end about her friend and I just couldn't hold back. She's big on manners, so I was pointing out that it's poor manners to attend an event for someone you hate and then be disruptive so that the people around you can't attend to what's being said.

Maybe I'll hear back. Sometimes you just have to call people out.

NBC national poll being touted as Clinton +4. Is Clinton +2 in 4-way. Polling 9/5-9/11. Sample is Dem +4.

Porchlight

James D, my mom hates drinking water, too (and so do I).

Hillary is a presidential candidate. Tough sh*t if she doesn't like it.

Eric in Boise

All because some brave soul filmed a 20-second video

On the fourth anniversary of Benghazi. That's the part I really like.

Porchlight

Besides, none of this has anything to do with dehydration anyway.

squaredance

Porch: I love how they have Hillary out denouncing a cartoon of a frog as the sign of "white supremacy". Maybe I am totally out of it, but it makes her seem absolutely looney to me--it is like the strawberries scene in the Kaine Mutiny. I gather that this is rather the point.

You have got to hand it to the reddit kids. They have really managed to insert themselves in the mix, and quite cleverly too.

Marlene

My mother will be 84 years old next week and she will not hydrate. It was a warm day during our family's BBQ last month,so one of my nieces was the designated water enforcer. She kept Mom supplied with water and sat by her until the water bottle was empty.
For some reason, old ladies won't hydrate and my mother has dizziness and falling incidents.
Why did Hillary insist on attending the memorial service? Is that why her doctor/nurse was at her side?

Porchlight

On the fourth anniversary of Benghazi. That's the part I really like.

It's almost like Someone is trying to tell us something.

The Gipper Lives

You're Deplorable, that's what you are
So Deportable, in cattle cars
Like the love of cash that clings to me
I love to bash those who don't vote for me
Never before
Have you peasants been more...

Just Deplorable in every way
And forever more, that's how you'll stay
That's why, peons, it's so horrible
That someone so damned Deplorable
Thinks that I am so Deplorable too

So Deplorable you hate the gays
and foreigners from Old Cathay
That's why, subjects, it's unscore-able
my hate for you because you're horrible
You think I am so Deplorable too.

The Rio Olympics just got a lot stranger: The first 4 finishers in the Paralympic's 1,500 Meter race ran faster times than the gold medalist in the Olympic games. You cannot make this stuff up.

To me it is just pathetic...what you would expect out of 14 year olds caught skipping school--but perhaps I can no longer gauge what is going on.

buccaneer morgan

she failed the voight kampff, good gravy the headlines just get more absurd as the day goes on,

squaredance

Goodness, BM, I actually had to look up "voight kampff". Good one, if a bit obscure for todays electorate.

Old Lurker

The only water my mother would drink would be from ice cubes which melted in her Makers Mark.

Janet S.

Hillary had no problem sucking down water when she had all her coughing fits.

What's this crap about her not drinking water?

Porchlight

You have got to hand it to the reddit kids. They have really managed to insert themselves in the mix, and quite cleverly too.

It was when I stumbled upon them (and Diamond & Silk) that I first started to get a real inkling that Trump could win. They have created thousands of images, songs, homemade videos. Some of them are quite sophisticated and clever.

Were there young people in hordes memeing 24/7 in support of Romney? No. Not even close.

Hillary calling them out (inaccurately) is the sign of a losing campaign.

BTW, this pepe is my favorite. You really need the sound for full effect. :)

Ignatz Ratzkywatzky

Is there really any doubt regarding Hillary's hydrophobia?

James D

Porch @ 10:34

My Mom does, too. But 4 miserable days in the hospital were a sufficient incentive to make her do it anyway. So now she has a little pad on her side table where she checks off her 8 glasses of water a day.

She's still uncooperative in a dozen other ways, of course, but at least she drinks her water!

squaredance

Well, Robin, it really is none of my business, and now I feel I should not have interjected anything. Obviously, you are not one to be pushed around. I was just lending moral support, not telling you what to do.

Clearly, you know what you are doing, and yes, I quite agree, sometimes you have to put your foot down.

Janet S.

Don't let me buy any more Deplorable t-shirts. I've got 2 on the way & that is enough.

I can get goofy about buying stuff just to support the effort. I've bought movie tickets to movies I didn't even go to just to support them.
My poor husband.

DebinNC

The "dehydrated" excuse + HC refusing water offered to all at GZ + aides "We can't make her drink water" = someone unstable, intractable, obstinate, uncompromising, etc.; i.e. someone temperamentally unqualified to be prez, especially if Dr. B told her 2 days earlier that having pneumonia required she increase her water intake.

squaredance

Yes, well Hillary seems to have no problem sucking the water down when there is some bourbon mixed in.

It is all so pathetic.

Am I missing something? Does this nonsense work with anyone but the true believers?

Porchlight

Porch: In your list you forgot the "FDR had polio and that was ok" bit.

Thanks, squaredance. They're usually pretty quiet when you remind them that FDR dropped dead four months into his fourth term. He was six years younger than Hillary at the time.

I'm all for her staying in to the end. It's going to be so salty and delicious.

Porchlight

I've bought movie tickets to movies I didn't even go to just to support them.

I did that too! It's a great way to support films that aren't playing near you.

Keep up the great work. :)

Porchlight

All the time, squaredance. :)

SD,

The left cannot bring themselves to admit (even to themselves) that they have a physically and mentally failed candidate. They are propping her up by challenging the "evidence or movie" that she fell, collapsed or fainted. Prove it, they say.

The refuse to recognize the litany of lies, deception and escapes from reality, so when confronted with it: Prove it, they say.

Trump calls her out on the "basket of deplorables" and the left's response is - So does Trump. He is mean spirited and calls people racists things like murderers, thieves, the worst of the worst. IOW's we can get away with this because he does it to.

They are running out of excuses. Now they are turning their attention to Trump's tax returns. The co-founder of LinkedIn is offereing $5 million donation to veteran organizations for the anyone who can steal, hack, purloin Trump's tax returns. I understand that some editor at the New York Times has stated he and his reporters are committed to going to jail in order to obtain his tax returns.

This is all out war now. People on the left have signed a kamakazi oath in order to destroy a Presidential candidate because t hey can't explain to the American public why their political positions are better for them.
When you lose the argument on facts and intellect,, all that's left is emotion and violence.

sbw

I never listen to Glen Beck, never read Jonah Goldberg, but the car loaner radio only had a few channels preset.

I am aghast at both of them. Spending time on 11/9 post election scenarios that basically suggest we could tolerate a Hillary but Trump, winning or losing, raises the spectre of Alt-Right -- as if it would be controlling -- is both terrible and likely.

You could drive trucks through their poor logic and they could have spent time talking about more likely scenarios.

Both are useless in my book. Both are scare-mongers of the worst sort.

buccaneer morgan

as you recall, maryrose, ronnie earle, payed delay back for that effort,

Ignatz Ratzkywatzky

I'm a little confused. Just exactly when did they officially abandon the pneumonia claims and go straight to the dehydration ones?

Our daughter had walking pneumonia a few times as a kid and I don't remember dehydration being a risk. Certainly your body produces a small bit of fluid in your lungs but the only sicknesses that risk dehydration that require more than ordinary consumption of liquids involve dysentery and serial vomiting, no?

buccaneer morgan

Old Lurker

Jack, I think the left is trying to see if they can accomplish the political equivalent of a prosecutor's legendary ability to "indict a ham sandwich". If they can succeed with this test run, then they know they can accomplish all of their goals in the near future.

squaredance

Have a look at this.

can someone clarify: are congressional subpoenas legally binding? What can congress do about it?

Ignatz Ratzkywatzky

Wouldn't it be quicker [and much more satisfying] just to drive the truck over their poor logic producers?

sbw,

How about Norman Podhoretz coming around to Trump because of the Iran deal but his son John is still a committed and radical #neverevereverTrumper. In fact, Trump has done more to expose the serious mental health issues we have in this country than any human since Reagan.

Old Lurker

SqD, Congress has lots and lots of nifty tools. Unfortunately at the moment they are too busy exercising their Power of the Purse.

Janet S.

That Pepe vid at 10:45 goes great with this line from Hillary's site -

"That cartoon frog is more sinister than you might realize."

Hah! Too funny!

OL: you must me "pursed lips", or somethin'.

Otherwise i have no idea what you are talking about here with this "Power of the Purse" stuff.

This is pretty clever, too.

I had actually never noticed that before.

Porchlight

Iggy, the stories are pretty much simultaneous, with the exception of "overheating" which was the first attempt.

Hillary said to Anderson Cooper the next day:

"It [fainting] is something that has occurred a few times over the course of my life, I'm aware of it and can usually avoid it."

So does she usually have pneumonia, then?

I guess the narrative hasn't been solidified yet.

buccaneer morgan

power of the purse, defined as who holds it, while
zaphod or red queen spend it, you're thinking of the vizzini definition,

squaredance

Janet: yes. really. The Pepe stuff is hilarious. They are miles out in front of her setting this up--light year out in front of her. She is out there talking about "sinister cartoon frogs".

Seriously, you cannot make this stuff up. I have been laughing about it all morning. It is so funny to me.

And if people actually go over to reddit, they will find them to be a interesting and attractive bunch over there.

Miss Marple 2

Porchlight, I spend a lot of time checking Reddit too, since you introduced me. Those guys cheer me up. They also are quite supportive of each other, which I find rather touching.

maryrose,

That banging on the windoows thing in Florida was great. I loved how the GOP protesters looked clean and well dressed. Dems were in shock that someone with matching shoes and handbags would stand up to them. We're supposed to be too nice for such stuff, you know.

Squaredance - I am quite grateful for your support. It gets lonesome here in the 10 Square Miles Surrounded by Reality.

I have been trying to confront people when it seems like they are open to discussion, which doesn't happen very often. It is exhausting to feel so guarded. Even my husband, who is a Johnson fan (ugh, 1000x ugh), does not like to discuss what's happening. This is my place of sanity, and hearing from people here is quite touching. So thank you.

Porch: But is that not the point, or at least one of them?

Here we have a group of kids interjected themselves into national news and the election from a liberal site.

I had heard of reddit before, of course, but avoided it for just the reasons you state. Bet there are thousands more viewing it now.

Seems to be a lot of them over at The_Donald too, though it is hard to tell. From their tone, I gather this is a completely new element in the Right, and they are exceedingly media savvy.

They really have the MSM's number. I am not talking about how they talk among themselves; I am talking about how cleverly they have manipulated them.

Again, Hillary is talking about sinister, white supremacy frogs.

Seriously?

It is just Too Funny.

(and if you poke around over there, they are saying it is like "denouncing Kilroy" which is exactly right.

A clever bunch over there.

"That cartoon frog is more sinister than you might realize."

Good grief, was that really on her official site?

This whole thing is starting to sound like a Monty Python movie. When she said "I feel great!" I kept thinking of that "I'm feeling much better!" scene. Now the above has me chuckling, recalling "That rabbit's dynamite!"

Ignatz Ratzkywatzky

Are cartoon white supremacist frogs afraid of barking dogs?
That would explain at least one inexplicable Hillary pathology.

Wait, where is the video of the protestors in FL knocking on Windows?

buccaneer morgan

Janet, I totally agree about the need for smart-asses on the right. It's so refreshing.

You're exactly right, squaredance. They've now inserted themselves into the campaign.

Another fun thing is that most of them are new to the whole right/Republican thing. They are mostly young, so much is unfamiliar to them. So there are endless opportunities to educate, and they are eager to soak up info about past Clinton scandals.

The jokes about getting "suicided" go on and on, and they put their own pop culture twists on them (Harambe, etc.).
