Thanks anonamom! When I arrive here early in the morning it's hard to get to that last page until I have had enough coffee and my eyes are clear enough to type in the change in page numbering!

The good guys already won. What you are witnessing is the death throes of the democrat party. They've got nothing and they know it. There isn't a single viable politician or candidate in their entire operation down to the county level...]

Yes, Anonamom,

But don't forget what Hillary said over the weekend:

Hillary Clinton: “I am ready to come out of the woods and to help shine a light on what is already happening around kitchen tables, at dinners like this, to help draw strength that will enable everybody to keep going,”

So we've still go to sweat Hillary's kitchen table, whatever that means.

Buh-bye Ricky P. I think all the hair dye is permeating your cranium.

Time for little Ricky to start banging schizzy skeezers again.

Wow. Mrs lyle just brought the two pots of rosemary out of the greenhouse and up on the deck by the door. It's like a rosemary bomb went off out there.

Ah, I see my big pot o' chives came out as well. Excellent. And what's this? She also planted some parsley. Tres bien.

What no French tarragon? Shocka!

It really is worthwhile to read Miss M's earlier link to rex Tillerson being interviewed, so here it is again: Transcript: Independent Journal Review's Sit-Down Interview with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson

What prompts me to post this is thinking about our 2 previous Sec States. In one we have Hillary strutting her pride and accomplishment as simply having landed in a hundred different countries. Then in Kerry we have a buffoon who arranges the Secret Service to go to a bike store in paris and then clear the roads in the countryside so he can ride his bike on the roads that the riders of the Tour De France ride on. Can anyone imagine, after reading Tillerson's comments, that he would possibly be so petty as to consider how many countries he flew into as an accomplishment, or to be so silly as to waste assets doing bicycle rides in Europe, or dragging in James Taylor to sing Carole King tunes to mourners of Islamic terrorism, while not even having the guts to say the words "Islamic Terrorism" to this mourners.

What a pack of buffoons we have had had in that office prior to Tillerson.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Clarice,

That IS clever. And to the point. Germany needs to pay up.

Also, how is it that we are defending Europe when Merkel invites the enemy in?

Finally, regarding Greece, ran across a Greek on Reddit who is thinking that Trump is The Marble King who will liberate Constantinople!

Shocka keeping Kentucky on their toes.

Momto2

That Reddit link was great and encouraging! (Thanks, Porch)

Also, I enjoyed reading the one about Trump bringing the sign wavers over to Mar Lago to meet him - what a thrill for them. Did anyone else notice the comment that he really liked the sign that said "God Bless Trump"? Somehow the fact that he singled that one out and mentioned it makes me glad and indicates he wants our prayers.

daddy

Has the mentally ill Ashley Judd been asked to stay away from Kentucky basketball games?

Captain,

I didn't see her in the crowd when the Kentucky women lost earlier today to Ohio State. I have on the Kentucky mens game but the volume is off so if she's been shown in the crowd I've missed her. For those who have been listening to the games, have the announcers pretty much wised up and quit shoving Liberalism down our throats with their play by play?

Mentally ill Julia Louis-Dreyfus was allowed into the Zags/NWestern game...

lyle - even if the owners were not thankful - I thank you for the dog! That is how many dogs end up in shelters and being put down.

I counted 14 deer in my back yard this afternoon. Emma had a field day chasing them away and got pretty close for a dog with only 3 legs. She came home smiling!

Yep, Maryrose and then he and Samantha Powers stuck the knife in Israel's back on the way out the door.

Hi Momto2,

Momma tells me that "Nelson" arrives Wednesday. I leave on Thursday for a week so I'll get the first night with him but am looking forward to the psychological interaction twixt him and Scout and Fry. Momma and I have different ideas about how Scout is going to react to a newcomer--- think she'll be jealous/Momma thinks she'll be nurturing, but regardless it'll all work out well in the end.

He'll look pretty much like this, just add snow:

One of my old friends has noticed that the Washington Post has been scare posting on Climate Change for a looong time.

CLIMATE CHANGE
The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulate at Bergen Norway.Reports from fishermen, seal hunters and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone.Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm.Great masses of ice have been replaced by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well known glaciers have entirely disappeared.Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds.Within a few years it is predicted that due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coast cities uninhabitable.

* * ** * * * * *I must apologize. I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922, as reported by the AP and published in The Washington Post 95 years ago.

This must have been caused by the Model T Ford's emissions or possibly from horse and cattle flatulence.

I have not reseaarched this but I trust my friend.

http://www.foxnews.com/transcript/2017/03/19/paul-ryan-on-efforts-to-repeal-replace-obamacare-rep-nunes-previews-comey/

The interviews are good with Ryan and Nunes but I don't know whose brilliant idea it was to have Zeke Emanuel and Neera Tanden on the panel. Emanuel is a ghoulish liar who needs to receive the euthanasia he advises to others and after Tanden was caught lying by Wikileaks it's amazing that witch, or something that rhymes with it, would show her face in public.

Well done, Rupert; Springer couldn't go lower.

Way too heavy for us.

Gravalax, a sliced boutard, creme fraiche, capers, red onions and shots of iced vodka. Then a few glasses of Billecart-Salmon followed by a night cap of a tawny port or nice glass of Highland Park. Perfect for watching the march madness games.

Don't know you you and lyle can have that heavy a dinner and still sleep at night.

Two points;

Pagar,

You can throw our entire Alaskan Congressional Delegation into that term limits thing: Local paper talks about how they are all happy to have all these Governemnt cuts as long as it doesn't happen in Alaska, especially Young and Murkowski. 40 years ago something called the ESA (The Essential Air Service) was instituted as a temp program. Now our guys are all up in arms about it being defended:

Trump budget cuts deeply into Alaska's federal funding

The Transportation Department budget, which would see an overall 13 percent cut, would carve away $175 million by entirely eliminating the EAS program.

The program "was originally conceived of as a temporary program nearly 40 years ago to provide subsidized commercial air service to rural airports. EAS flights are not full and have high subsidy costs per passenger," the budget request said. "Several EAS-eligible communities are relatively close to major airports, and communities that have EAS could be served by other existing modes of transportation."

Young's spokesman Matt Shuckerow said the congressman has defended efforts to remove the service in the past, and would surely "fight like hell" to defend it and other programs again, like the Denali Commission.

The Transportation Department currently subsidizes flights to remote parts of Alaska through $20 million in contracts.

2 years back when we were still fat with oil money we wasted millions in bringing in villagers to Amchorage for sports Tourneys and the public was furious. But if it's you guys funding the exact same thing, we fight like crazy to keep the program alive. To me it makes sense, except in Emergency situations, that you choose to live where you choose to live, and if it happens to have lousy air service, so be it. You can move. I don't expect u guys to pay my affair. Etc.

2.) Didn't shake German Prime minester's hand when asked by Prime Minister and photographers

I'm sure defunding meals on wheels is a top priority for most americans. Similar to defunding medical research.

give me a break. its a joke. The hypocrisy and sheer amount of lying is unparalleled. You would follow trump if he shot a 5 year old in the middle of 5th avenue, with 100 witnesses -- as he claimed his supporters would do. (we got the milder version of this with "grab em by the pussy").

Miss Marple the Deplorable

jor,

Maybe you should realize that none of us like Ryan, either. (Except maybe maryrose, who likes everyone.)

I am. however, confidant in Trump's negotiating abilities.

Also, President Trump did shake Merkel's hand at the press conference. However, I wouldn't be upset if he hadn't, since poor little Greece is ponying up their fair share to NATO, while Germany is not.

As far asa the House Intel Committee, I think you should wait until after the hearings on Monday. I am VERY interested to see Admiral Rogers of NSA is testifying. Why would that be, do you think?

jor

Captain Hate: Republicans are refuting Trumps accusations. What are you talking about? He heard it on Levins or fox, and just tweeted it without thinking. No impulse control.

This is like the millions of illegal voters in the election claim -- complete bullshit. Only a true idiot would believe it.

jor
