The MSM reflexive blame "alt right" is too predictable. They are underperforming a stopped clock.

narciso79

Mohammed r is the fellow in Antwerp, resembles that other fellow from earlier inn the week.

Ignatz Ratzkywatzky

Larry Klayman has a poor track record and this Montgomery guy sounds suspect.
Having said that Klayman's track record also contains some notable hits and making an enemy appear "suspect" is what spooks do for a living.

Dry powder sounds like a plan.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Ignatz,

Agree. I have a long memory about Klayman, all the way back to pre-Clinton Impeachment.

He has an uneven history, with a lot of grandstanding and opportunism but also has done some solid stuff. The problem is that you never know which it is until after the fact.

Where was this when Obama was president?

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Looks like there is a deal on the health care bill.

Thanks to you-know-who's negotiating ability.

We fisked the AP story on Nunes’ announcement, gave up and wrote our own, based on credible information from a variety of sources, including AP.

Take this AP paragraph, for instance:

“Comey's comments came during the intelligence committee's first public hearing on Russia's election interference, an investigation being overseen by Nunes.”

[Note to AP: And the fact that Nunes is chair somehow validates Comey’s comments? This is AP rhetorical legerdemain that any editor would find embarrassing.]

Remember the media's withering investigation of this presidential over-reach?

So now Schmucky says the Ds are going to filibuster Gorsuch. Now maybe we see for sure whether McConnell has [redacted].

Schumer: Democrats will filibuster Gorsuch nomination

Go ahead, Chuck, make my day.

From the last thread regarding Bret Stephens, when the fellow is on Maria Bartiroma's show and when I catch that confluence Bret is much more 'conservative' in his speech in that venue.

Maria Bartiroma is quite the DJT cheerleader and so enjoy watching her on Fox Business when I get up early to see it.

Captain Hate

So now Schmucky says the Ds are going to filibuster Gorsuch.

Didn't take long for the Tarhole's good cop to show his true colors. Anybody else surprised?

Janet

One way to look at the Obamacare repeal fight...

It seems healthy that Republicans are putting out different ideas & fighting & debating.
That is how it is supposed to work, isn't it?

The Dems did what they were told & pushed through the giant, unread fiasco called Obamacare. No debate or fighting. They just did what they were told.

I wish the fights weren't being played out in the MFM...but the push & pull & reading the bill & bringing up consequences & debating...all seems healthy.

Captain Hate

I think you're right, Janet. The Constitutional Convention wasn't pretty either but it got done.

A great American, Kurt Cochran, was killed in the London terror attack. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.

The Constitutional Convention wasn't pretty either but it got done.

But would they have gotten it done with today's MSM spreading lies and distortions about one side, and openly cheerleading for the other, 24/7/365?

Porchlight

I tend to agree, Janet. I would like to see a little more unity but at the same time, I'm glad our party actually disagrees on important stuff and isn't cowed into accepting marching orders.

Hope the little one starts to feel better soon.

I was waiting to post after joan because I saw her talking to herself;)

On the autoplay: http://www.pcworld.com/article/3119886/software/stop-html5-autoplay-videos-in-chrome-firefox-opera-but-not-edge-explorer-safari.html

EX Summary: Chrome it is an extension (Disable HTML5 Autoplay) and others except Edge it is browser settings. Some websites are designed it such a way that if the media fails to launch the site stalls.

Anyone else having an issue with the top sponsored ad link at the top. It is like it is trying to load an ad underneath the ad. I looked at the source and there looks to be a broken tag that is trying to load a .data file? I can clear the cashe to get the site to function but it usually comes back after a refresh or two.

Maybe not, James D, but the press was pretty nasty back then. Remember James Callender?

Jack is Back!

The 39 y.o. Musselman in Antwerp was a French national of Tunisian descent. He was going to duplicate Nice and Westminster Bridge by driving at high speed down the Meir which is Antwerp's busiest pedestrian way for shopping, restaurants, and theater.

Every time we go back we go on the Meir for sot mething or other. Always crowded especially at late morning before noon.

Weapons also found in the car. Vigilant security pre-empted him and he took off toward the quayside where he was caught.

"..there was no prior intelligence about his intent to mount a terrorist attack."

- other than the Koran and about 1400 years of history, of course.

Dual citizens causing mischief?

The deuce you say...

Dave (in MA)

Stabby Muzzie ID'ed,

LONDON —British police have identified the person responsible for the terror attack near Parliament as 52-year-old Khalid Masood.

The police say in a statement Thursday that Masood was born in southeastern England and was most recently living in the West Midlands, in central England.

James D

jimmyk, I agree.

But it's not so much the nastiness as the all-pervasiveness and immediacy of it (and also the impact of video and audio, shareable instantly to millions of people, compared to the printed word only, limited to walking or horseback speed and one-to-one transmission).

rich

new thread by the way.

It might have been some broken code in an ad. The test I was running last night I was using Explorer and Chrome and the ad itself was for a sketchy email service.

See if this brings it back.

Good God, I'm relieved. You see, my Niece (soon AIR FORCE ACADEMY)is finishing school in London and my Mother was from Britain.
Again, I'm RELIEVED. I mean, I was SO SURE that the DEAD PILE OF SCHIT was going to be MUZZZZLIM. Turns out he's British and some kind of WOLF!!!
Prolly not a Muzzlim this time.

Russia DID NOT HACK our ELECTION
Trump had NOTHING to do with RUSSIA.
Sessions as a SENATOR on the Foreign Affairs committee........ Meeting with Ambassadors was his JOB in part.

So because the LIBTARDS want to GRANDSTAND, SLIME TRUMP and MAKE EXCUSES for LOSING, A sham of an investigation is set up. In the process of the SHAM, FACTS COME TO LIGHT OF OBAMA SPYING ON TRUMP and his ASSOCIATES.

Look at this link and notice the FAKE NEWS.
Then notice CSN and DAILY CALLER, put it in perspective. Sessions was PUBLIC with his meetings with the Russian Ambassador, THERE WAS NOTHING TO DISCLOSE. IT WAS PUBLIC AND ARRANGED BY OBAMA'S STATE DEPT.
