Upon hearing the news Scaramucci's reply was :
(a) "Yeah? Communicate this."
(b) "I got something for you to communicate right here."

I saw a story that Rasmussen had Trump below 40 pct for the first time. Watching Trump's beautiful presentation of the Medal of Honor to a Vietnam-era medic, I'm thinking the Rasmussen story is a reverse of the Time magazine curse, where appearance on their cover of a person or idea means that person or idea has peaked. Although I think Trump has been doing just fine, I thoroughly expect a great deal of Americans to also start feeling that way (and for his rating at Rasmussen and elsewhere to skyrocket). Trump is a good man, he was right about the swamp, he's been right about so much. God bless him.

Kelly runs a tight ship.
Whatever Scaramucci's virtues, he would be more closely associated with a loose cannon than a tight ship by virtually anyone = man overboard.

sidwhite - Obama left a parting, poisonous gift of the early Jan 2017 report on the Russians influencing our election. The meager basis of evidence--I read what has online--was Russian TV (RT) and social media . That was all they had, but it was the "official" statement from FBI, CIA and NSA and the conclusion was that the Russians most certainly tried to influence the election. Since then it is repeated as gospel. Doesn't that justify Mueller's Hunt for Red Donald?
As Comey kinda said to Pres.Trump, "You are not under investigation at present, but maybe later."

Just drove downtown and noticed while AM Talk Radio channel surfing that DWS and the Awan Brothers scandal was covered on all 4 of our current Talk Shows discussing matters, and I'm not including Rush who's Show ended the hour previous---Hannity, Dana Loesch, Scnitt, and a show with 2 guys who's name I can never remember.
Overall point being that there ain't a single radio listening Conservative anywhere in America at least partially aware of the DWS/Awan scandal and at least 100% aware that it is being hushed up by the MSM since at least 3 of the Shows mentioned that a big part of the scandal is that it is intentionally not being covered by the Dem protecting MSM.
That out to be a new tag line for the MSM---"Proudly Protecting Democrat ass since Walter Cronkite."

Frau,
One of my youngest sister's best friends is from Venezuela and about 25 years ago my sister flew down to Caracas to visit her. I sure wouldn't have been able to handle it, as she had instructions about fake taxicabs who kidnap and murder Americans, roving bands of cholos, etc.
She said it was a beautiful place but made her nervous.
Her friend since has moved to Miami along with almost the entire family. The father was a doctor who practiced here so they got in as relatives and have since become citizens. Most of the upper middle class has left.
Such a tragedy.

Couple more observations from the race track in the cornfields of Ahia:
1) When the pastor giving the Invocation ask the crowd to stand and remove their hats, they did. Not a single hajib in sight. Most said "Amen" after the prayer.
2) They stayed standing and were respectful during singing of the National Anthem.
3) Cheered the skydivers towing American flags.
4) At the end of the race day and as everyone was packing up folding chairs and coolers, didn't see anyone who wasn't cleaning up after themselves and and putting their refuse in the trash cans.
I don't think many libtards were there and nobody messed with the people wearing "Make America Great Again" red hats.

I think it was Clarice who in mentioned in so many words the other day that any politician undergoing a trial in DC has a strike against him if he/she has an (R) behind his name (ala Ted Stevens) and has a "Get Out of Jail Free" card if he/she has a (D) behind her name.
Without question DWS will not be unanimously convicted by a Jury in DC, even if there is video of her holding the smoking gun over Seth Rich's dead body. Is there any alternative to trying her and Awan outside of DC? I recall that the trial of Ted Stevens was moved to DC from Girdwood Alaska under the foolish notion that Ted Stevens would get a fair trail in DC but would have a biased Jury in Girdwood Alaska.

It's kinda odd when you think about it.
Ben used to do Jaylo:
I specifically remember their split because I was on a family vacation on Kauai at the time and I had to use a rolled up People Magazine headlined "Ben And JayLo Are History!" to stab a cockroach in the bathroom the size of a hamster that had the kids shrieking and momma petrified.
And Kate used to do A-Rod.
And now A-Rod and JayLo are doing each other:
I can only conclude that Kate and Ben need to get together to square the circle, so we can take another family vacation to Kauai.

Can Mueller reasonably expect a judge to allow a report from a firm employed by the DNC with connections to Ukrane be entered into evidence at a criminal trial, UNLESS, any defendant is allowed to examine whatever (DNC server) the DNC’s consultant used as a basis for its opinion?

Without question DWS will not be unanimously convicted by a Jury in DC, even if there is video of her holding the smoking gun over Seth Rich's dead body.
And she can't be expelled from her House seat without a 2/3 majority vote, which of course will never happen.
But can Speaker Ryan punish her in other ways? Can he cut or zero out her budget for staff, travel, etc? Deny her access to any House IT resources? Fine her for the costs of cleaning up after the mess her and her criminal IT buddies caused?
Surely there must be some fine print in the rules of the House that would allow her - and every other Dem who employed the Awan clan - to be disciplined in a way that would actually impact them?

Ext,
That hail damage is frightening. I cannot imagine how awful it was to get yourself into such a catastrophic situation in the first place, and then struggling to figure out how to survive when it happened.
I recall a few years back a Delta (?) 747 getting similarly pummeled in China. They saw the massive thunderstorm ahead and asked for vectors around it from Chinese ATC, but were refused vectors by the ChiComs due to restricted Military Airspace, so they plowed ahead and almost killed everybody on board.
That is often discussed in training so you just play the scenario in your mind, decide what your options are, and decide to go ahead and declare an Emergency, broadcast your intentions to deviate and go ahead and do so on your own, then deal with the paperwork and diplomatic consequences afterwards.
The other day being rerouted from Guangzhou back to Delhi we got put in a similar situation in Western China when in Dalien's airspace a huge weather front of 50,000 foot thunder bumpers was in front of us stretching easily a hundred miles right of our track and 15 miles left of our track. Dalien ATC refused to let us deviate west of track, so immediately upon being switched at the last minute to the next ATC Center, Kunming, and planning on asking for and executing a 90 degree right turn regardless of permission, I asked them for immediate turn left 20 miles of track and they instantly gave it to us. Whew. Didn't have to declare an Emergency or execute Plan B! Slid around it with plenty room of to spare and boomed on into Myanmar's Airspace shortly after. I mention all this to illustrate how it is much more difficult in some International locations to get permission for sensible deviations, and especially so because their ATC systems are so substandard and their radio transmissions are so terrible (English is a second language), plus every body else is babbling in Chinese dialects. Thankfully though, any time we have India as a destination the company puts on tons and tons of extra gas so we have great flexibility to deviate hundreds of miles without sweating running low on gas.
You'll recall an Air Indonesia flight fell out of the sky about a year ago because they could not get permission to deviate from ATC and went ahead and penetrated a thunderstorm to the loss of the plane and everybody on board.
I can't imagine anyone allowing themselves Stateside to intentionally penetrate a thunderstorm since our systems are so much better and flexible,, so I'm interested in what happened to the plane in the picture Ext linked. If it was Stateside, no excuse.

I'm not an expert at bowling, but to use that metaphor it looks to me as if President Trump used Scaramucci to take out two pins, Spicer and Priebus, at the same time.

Yes, maryrose, with your desire for hefty lawyers fees. Will DWS get the Clinton treatment that Imran Awan is getting?
Anyone seen Mr. Awan? Where are his brothers?

IMO, it should be every one who employed the Awans.

Why in the world would every office need their own IT people. Why not one group handling everyone?

I think Miss Marple hit it on the head. This is a heck of a reality show from the kabuki on Capitol Hill to the Greek Chorus in the medis to the West Wing drama.
And in the meantime, the country seems to be making some progress.
I do wish that Trump could elucidate a more stable message, and I think Kelly will help with that.

Frau:
His brothers are back in Pakistan I believe.
I do think some blackmailing going on .
Especially DWS.

The exit of Spicer and Priebus allowed the President to move Sarah Huckabee Sanders into the position of White House Press Secretary. Priebus ' departure allowed him to bring in the stellar guy in his administration, General Kelly. Scaramucci was the mechanism.
Of course, I have no way to be sure of any of this. But if I had to choose a scenario to explain these successive events, this would be the one. President Trump appears to be one or two steps ahead of everyone else. He never does something without a reason.
This is going to be an interesting 8 years. He's going to drive Washington and the media crazy just trying to figure him out, let alone determine his next move.

Barbara,
I am with you.
Consider Scaramucci. Does anyone think that Trump didn't know that Scaramucci was
1. Foul mouthed
2. Volatile
3. Full of himself
4. Not going to work with a general as chief of staff
Hell, for all I know Trump had a long hidden grudge with Scaramucci and used him to both rid himself of Priebus and Sanders plus get back at Scaramucci. We will, of course, never know.
An entertaining 10 days, and meanwhile, for all we know there is a huge troop build-up for North Korea or iran, Venezuela is hit with sanctions and stern warnings, Trump isn't accepting the Senate's do nothing attitude about Obamacare, and General Kelly is now chief of staff, Priebus and Spicer having been sent to the minors.
Trump's Twitter and Facebook account are in the millions. Twitter cannot afford to get rid of his account or they will find themselves without a lot of users. Same with Facebook.
My friend Jan who calls me every day for news called this afternoon. She said she had always respected members of the House and Senate, but now she realizes how meiocre most of them are.
Then it occurred to me. Most of these guys get in office through local politics, then state politics or being a Congressional aide, then run for Representative and then Senator. Every stepp of the way they are compromised by special interest money, going along to get along pressure, and hints on how to behave in order to be members of the club.
We have allowed a political class to set up a system which self-selects for mediocrity.

I should have said SPICER rather than Sanders. Sorry.

Someone in DWS's district should start now and continue to assail her judgment and record.
She has two years to get her
carpact together.Posted by: Frau Steingehirn | July 31, 2017 at 07:11 PM
Frau,
She has a dem primary challenger who was on Fox this morning accusing her of obstruction of justice.
Of course, he will probably commit suicide with two bullets to the back of the head.
