Jack is Back!

Primo?

Jack is Back!

Consider the source of the above story: Erick Erickson. Feathering his extra-firm mattress that has herniated his noodle-like spine.

Dave (in MA)

Because Erick Erickson is always right.

henry

I'm sure he has the Egg's cabinet all lined up for immediate installation.

Captain Hate

Which cabinet member is dumb enough to talk to Fat Boy?

common man

EE? EEWWWWWWH!

Captain Hate

Excuse me, cabinet member's secretary? Find someone with extremely low self esteem.

henry

to be fair, he doesn't spoecify a Trump Cabinet Secretary

narciso

Noddlehead neds twin brother, no thanks

Frau Putsch

Found at ZT -
"When you have Bill Kristol, Michael Moore, Al Franken, Lowrenta Lynch, Jim Comey and two former CIA directors all against him you know you chose wisely"
-------

The Coup-Coup Gang salivates as Brennan scatters the seeds.

Brennan has had it out for Trump even before he was president. The Former CIA director got the FBI’s probe of the Trump team rolling claiming back in May to the House Intelligence Committee that he was intercepting “tidbits on Trump associates making contacts with Russians.”

Porchlight

That was quick. Scaramucci has fired Michael Short, assistant WH press secretary.

Short initially said he didn't think he had been fired. Life comes at you fast. :)

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/07/25/scaramucci-terminates-suspected-leaker-michael-short-from-white-house/

Short was close to Katie Walsh who was also fired for leaking. Short is also close to Priebus.

-peter

And if Hillary had won, everything would be running so smoothly. That being said. ..

James D.

Yeah, Erickson is a plausible source. Have you got some bridges to sell me, too?

If it Is somehow a legit article, and a Cabonet secretary found the time to whine to that jackass, it shouldn't be that hard to puzzle out who
It was. Erickson helpfully eliminated three of them (Tillerson, Mattis, Sessions), which only leaves 12 to pick from.

But it's not legitimate, it's just more crap flung by a never-Trump chimp who ought to be relegated back to the primate house.

Frau Affenhaus

"who ought to be relegated back to the primate house" with a thick wall to keep all the carp on his side.

JamesD. - just finished the visual.

daddy

Here's this morning's photo ! Donald Trump with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis!...I decided to search and see who all he has been photographed with. So far, I have found Frank Sinatra and Sean Connery. There are a LOT, so I will be annoying people for some time with this.

Keep it up Miss Marple, I'm loving it!

Rush just about to go into detail on the Kurt Schlicter piece on how to fire Mueller.

Good Morning!

DrJ

Oops! I posted this on the previous topic:

vote on a clean repeal

Except that it is not a clean repeal, in my understanding. It simply defunds the whole thing, but the structure is left in place. So the next time the Dems control federal government, we are back to Obamacare.

common man

So who took Elaine Chou in the cabinet sweepstakes. You know the spouse of turtle?

daddy

Porch,

Via your 01:14 interesting to me that the first person to report that Short was fired was Politico.

Suspected leaker Michael Short has been terminated from the White House communications office...Politico’s Tara Palmeri was the first to report the news.

I think if this was a game of Battleship, somebody just had their ship sunk.

Porchlight

Yes, daddy - leaker got fired and called up their receiver buddies at Politico immediately. :)

daddy

Via Wiki: Tara Palmeri

Tara Palmeri (born September 1, 1987) is an American journalist who works as Politico's White House correspondent, and as a CNN Political Analyst.[1] Previously, she worked as a reporter and columnist for Politico's European edition in Brussels, while also serving as a CNBC contributor...

...During her tenure as White House reporter for Politico, Palmeri has broken exclusive stories, including one on White House staffers who failed FBI background checks, which led White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to call Palmeri "an idiot with no real sources." In May 2017, it was announced that Palmeri would be joining CNN as a political analyst for the network, while continuing to cover Trump for Politico...

She's certainly cute!

Dave (in MA)

TM, thanks for troll cleanup; It can't be said enough.

Dave (in MA)

daddy | July 25, 2017 at 01:43 PM,

It was nice of Spicer to publicly point out her qualifications to be hired by CNN.

daddy

Mega ditto's Dave!

Porchlight

Yes, Dave! Thanks, TM.

Dave (in MA)

It wasn't just that Politico was the first to report Short was getting whacked -- reportedly that's how Short found out.

henry

As in more leaks, Dave?

narciso

I'm sure there is a cunning plan behind this

Ext's link:

i>Richard Visek, who was appointed by President Obama as head the State Department's Office of Legal Adviser in October 2016, is behind the decision to remove the word "genocide" from official documents

all part of the ongoing coup

henry

that was narciso's link. oops.

sbw

Extraneus, anything is an impeachable offense if someone is impeached and convicted for it.

It is noise, not news, and the Daily Caller should be gonged for the click-bait.

Besides, the tool making the claim is now counsel for CREW. Any media that runs with CREWnoise is a shill.

Please, don’t clutter the thread with that crap. Allude to it if you must, but with derisive laughter and without a link.

henry

Also on Ext's link... it was that Painter dude again.

glasater

How many times have I heard that impeachment is a political 'thing' and not a legal one..

-peter

PULL!

daddy

If anyone is interested, here is a list of Tara Palmeri's stories chronologically, from most recent to oldest. From my quick perusal it certainly seems that she knows a lot about the behind the scenes sentiments of White House insiders:

Muck Rack: TARA PALMERI

Plenty of lines like this in the first few stories::

---One White House official and two outside advisers said...
---Another White House official disputed...
---A third White House official said...
---But a source close to the White House press operation said...
---according to a senior administration official...
---has faced resistance from some of Trump’s top press aides, according to six sources familiar with the matter...

etc.

narciso

Honestly one desired to go weirding module in that crew.

daddy

Richard Visek, who was appointed by President Obama as head the State Department's Office of Legal Adviser in October 2016, is behind the decision to remove the word "genocide" from official documents

Here's Dick.

There are screaming protesters in the Senate gallery.

Marlene

Pence is in the chair.

What's the scuttlebutt on why the Market is up 120 points today?

The pending Senate Vote, Scaramucci kicking ass and taking names, or something else?

Dave (in MA)

PULL!
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

henry

Daddy, OPEC is going to crack down on cheaters.

from the last: "Chuck Schumer now is on the floor of the Senate defending Sessions"

I wonder if Schumer knows Sessions is an American citizen?I thought Schumer only defended illegals.

henry

Scott Adams...a tweet of a periscope on why Trump is on the verge of total victory.

I'd be happier if Adams stuck to writing his thoughts down.

Tom Maguire

I'll say Dow is up 120+ on (mostly) good earnings (CAT, UT) and (minorly) yet another Saudi promise to rein in the oil market.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

No on motion to advance to debate: Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski.

Shelly Moore Capito will vote yes to advance the debate.

Jack is Back!

Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are cowards and I feel for the citizens of the State of Maine if she becomes their governor. As for Alaska, daddy's right, she is as safe as one of those "hole-in-one" cars you see during Pro-Am tournaments.

daddy

Via Rush in Hour 3, Great News from the BBC. No reasons to worry about Global Warming any more:

Sperm count drop 'may lead to human extinction'

Humans could become extinct if sperm counts in men from North America, Europe and Australia continue to fall at current rates... it may be the extinction of the human species."

This must be the greatest news Zeke Emanuel, Al Gore, and Ted Turner have heard since forever.

Jack is Back!

daddy,

Market up on earnings report by some big names like Cat.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

It's very interesting to me that Lisa Murkowski's face has morphed into Cruella DeVille, when she was once a pretty attraactive woman.

You get the face you deserve.

daddy

Collins and Murkowski vote "NO." Ho hum.

Jack is Back!

Voting No on a motion to bring a bill to the floor for debate and amendments is the ultimate in cowardice. If I am Trump I will find a way to keep Maine and Alaska begging for help whenever they need it and they will.

daddy

Please don't forget that Lisa Murkowski's re-election was the handiwork of Orin Hatch and the NSC coffers.

daddy

Thanks, TM and others for the Market motivator info.

sbw

When do we get the McCain grand entrance?

And what’s up with the dawdler from Wisconsin?

Miss Marple the Deplorable

sbw,

Fox Live Feed said that McCain has just arrived at the Capitol.

daddy

Dead man walking.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

McCain and Johnson have now voted Aye, so Pence will have to break the tie, assuming no dems vote to advance the debate.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

McCain will be given the floor to speak after the vote.

===================================

I can hear the strains of "The World Turned Upside Down" wafting on the breeze.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

McCain is now telling everyone to ignore the bombastic people on the radio and the internet.

daddy

51 to 50---The Vote Passes.

As for Lisa, I also think this. Even tho' she ran as an Independent after she lost the Republican Primary, she still maintains the fiction of being a Republican and being loyal to the Party (The National Repub Party without question is loyal to her.)

So that said I don't see her pulling an Arlen Specter and going Dem, since she would gain little by it in the long run in staying in power, and would definitely lose support. If she came out Dem up here, then the State Republicans could rally and target her and raise a legitimate challenger, all of which she will avoid if she simply keeps calling herself a Republican. And she does not need to go "Independent." It would be purely cosmetic but a bit of a stick in the eye to Repubs, so why bother. She is a perfect creature of the swamp exactly where she now stands---effectively unchallengeable by another Republican, and immune to any Democratic challenge since she supports the expansion of total Government at all turns and votes 95% the way they would want her to vote. She is a hog in heaven.

Stephanie Puppy Pincushion extraordinaire

McCain is doing his "if I were the president follow me I'm leading" speech... want to find a drill to put a hole in my own fn head. Gah.

He is so fn delusional if he really thinks this will sway a damn one of those jerks. It will make him the darling of the press and lead story #1 on the afternoon news, though, so there is that.

Stephanie Puppy Pincushion extraordinaire

Funking asshole ain't going anywhere either. F him and the senate chair he parked his ass in for 30 years...

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Well, glad that's over with.

Shep says that is a speech that will go for the ages from the only adult in the room.

MUTE.

McCain 2 minutes ago: My transcript.

McCain: ...Stop listening to the bombastic loud mouths on radio and television and the Internet. To hell with them. They don't want anything done for the Public Good. Incapacity is their livelihood...

30 seconds later--

McCain: We're getting nothing done, my friends, we're getting nothing done! And all we've really done this year is confirm Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court...

I prefer the honest McCain of the 2nd soundbite to the dishonest McCain of the 1st sound bite but that is because I want things done for the Public Good.

Sessions needs firing, if only for his ridiculous position on forfeiture. Mattis can hit the bricks, too as far as I'm concerned. And fire everybody in upper management at the state dept, while we're at it.
