http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/09/white-house-database-created-to-recruit-trump-supporters-destroyed-by-deep-state/
After President Trump won the election, one of the first things that he did was create a website soliciting for new hires in various positions within the Trump Administration.

The site offered individuals the opportunity to apply for positions working for the Trump Administration. This site was a way for the Trump team to bring in people who were supportive of the incoming President and who wanted to work for him to Make America Great Again!

…I found myself in a discussion with a senior White House staff member who was explaining how extensively they were struggling to get basic work done because they were severely short staffed. I replied that that was odd since thousands of people across the nation had sent in their resumes to greatagain.gov. Surely there were plenty of applicants to choose from and they would likely all be incredibly invested in the President’s agenda and his success.

The staffer turned to me with an eye roll and a dismissive chuckle saying “Oh that database was accidentally lost…some computer glitch.”

From Clarice's 08:41 on Gowan and Imran asking to remove the ankle bracket GPS tracker.

Gowen asked that Imran no longer be barred from traveling more than 50 miles, claiming that Imran — who made $165,000 a year in Congress and also owned four houses with his wife, needed money and was driving Uber. “He is driving for Uber and the 50 mile radius makes that hard… if he rejects a call he will lose his job.”

Uber spokesman Susan Hendrick said there was no record of an Imran Awan matching his description listed as driving for the company.

....Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) admitted last week that she was unaware that fellow Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez (N.J.) could miss critical upcoming votes in the Senate because of his corruption trial, which is set to begin next week.

A constituent asked Warren at a town hall in Concord, Mass. whether she had an alternative plan in case Menendez is not able to partake in critical votes, noting that Senate Democrats would need "another vote."

"I never played poker and there was a reason," Warren said, pointing at her face. "The answer is no, I don't have a plan b, because actually I didn't know about this and I hope that this isn't right, but you might be right on this."

"Uber spokesman Susan Hendrick said there was no record of an Imran Awan matching his description listed as driving for the company."

Boy, if THAT wasn't crafted by a lawyer, I will eat my hat. A normal person would have saud "He never drove for us."

Instead, we have 1. no record, 2. "an" Imran Awan, 3. matching his description, and 4. listed as driving.

However, Uber could have poor records, we know from the video linked above with the Marine that he went by the name Alex, the guy could have had a beard or gained or lost weight, and perhaps he wasn't a driver but a delivery guy.

So far, the only on-air Comey story at CNN, checking available transcripts, is the "draft letter for firing Comey." That story is also a lead item on goolag's news aggregator. Comey's prejudging of the Clinton case is, to the press, not newsworthy.

cboldt

A minor correction that reinforces the conclusion that the press is burying the Comey prejudgment story. at the 12:30 pm segment CNN's Mana Raju added this in context with the subject of the draft memo justifying the firing of Comey. Raju also appeared in a later segment on the draft fire Comey memo, and dropped the observation about the draft exonerate Clinton memo.

If this letter says anything different about why the president actually fired him, of course, that's an issue that will go to this obstruction case that Mueller's clearly investigating. The one thing that of course the president now is pointing to is this new revelation from the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Republicans releasing transcripts from FBI officials saying that Comey made a decision early on not to go after Hillary Clinton before. And that at least gives them some cover, but that's not exactly what the rationalization is.
rich

how is a memo from a White House lawyer about how to get rid of Comey not covered by Executive Privilege? and how is it obstruction exactly-either the memo or actually firing him

I don't. They don't cover ANYTHING that hurts the prog narrative unless they have no alternative at all.

The press is using speculation to insinuate the the draft letter rings of squelching investigation into the Trump campaign. It goes right back to the narrative running the day Comey was fired, "obstruction," and the Rosenstein memo is purely pretextual.

The press will never deviate from that narrative. It is fully invested.

As for firing Comey being some sort of obstruction, that's nonsense. The work would go on notwithstanding Comey's departure. But the press peddles mostly disconnected nonsense, so no surprise.

I agree the draft is covered by executive privilege. Somebody leaked. I doubt the contents of the draft are harmful except to the extent the press speculates and misleads on the existence and contents.

the Comey July 5th Presser reminded me of the "Lieberman Pivot" during the Clinton Impeachment hearings, so much so, I wonder if that was the plan all along.

http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/09/03/lieberman/

Lanny Davis: "I was actually one of the point men on the Lieberman side. But I had a belief that turned out to be right: That if Joe Lieberman made a moral statement on the floor of the Senate but did not call for Clinton's resignation, he would save the Clinton presidency. He would serve as an outlet for the pivot that I thought the American people were prepared for: He would condemn the conduct, pivot, 'but it's not worth driving him out of office.' So all I did was call Joe and ask him what his intentions were. He told me, and I thought it was exactly the right pivot, and I told the White House, 'I wouldn't touch Lieberman."

CNN cable content is quite literally gibberish.

DEMIRJIAN: And the investigations on the Hill are kicking into a new phase. Now you have
(INAUDIBLE) your comment to talk to the Judiciary Committee behind closed doors. You have the inner circle now approaching the senators which -- and some came up for staff interviews before.

But now you're going to be able to have, you know, members getting access to them as well potentially. And it's a question of, you know, all of these different new stories, all of these different things that we learn are clues of the puzzle that they're pulling together and as they get more and more information, these inquiries are becoming more and more pointed. So that's going to continue. It didn't really stopped over the summer but it's going to continue on unabated and potentially benefit from the facts the headlines will be focused elsewhere on the budget crisis and everything else, because these are --

RAJU: And not only that this loom over this presidency, it also, we know, it affects the president's mind set this infectious focus. Clearly, focus now is on Harvey but more and more leaks coming out. More and more allegations coming out. How the president is going to react.

KNOX: But who's focus? Because one of the interesting stories, there's a very small audience for some of these Russia stories and that includes potential witnesses. Potential people mixed up in this.

Miss Marple the Deplorable

rich,

Your comparison to Lieberman is quite good. The set-up was even similar.

I remember that everyone had been primed to hear what Lieberman (characterized at the time as "the conscience of the Senate") was going to say. Huge build-up.

Same with Comey. And just like Lieberman, we listened to all of the bad stuff Comey listed, and then, well, nevermind.

Seems awfully coincidental, doesn't it?

Miss Marple the Deplorable

rich,

I believe the Clintons have dirt on nearly everyone in DC. Those they cannot find any dirt on they threaten.

Otherwise, why are they STILL being protected? Neither holds office. Bill can't run for office again and Hillary is not going to be a nominee. Neither one is very popular anymore, and to Millennials, they are a couple of old geezers.

They have a pile of cash in their foundation, but that is about it.

That is why I think they have dirt on people. They have had years to amass files on reporters, elected officials, probably even low-level people in various cabinet departments.
