TM, next we'll learn Hillary sold our Uranium to the Russians for a couple hundred million in her own pocket, and the FBI and Obama White House smoothed the way. What, that happened too? I feel like Dr Evil on wake up.

mad jack

so given what we know now: meuller 1 resigns 2 gets fired 3 stays and indicts a trump chump for jay walking. i'm taking door number 3 monte. ol make mine a makers mark with a splash.

Mad Jack:
I think door number 3 is correct and would add President Trump will then pardon whoever gets indicted.

Finally, one note to all the "foreign agent" speculation. The Clintons did not hire anyone. The Clinton's attorney hired Fusion GPS, and American Company. Fusion outsourced the work to Steele, and there is no evidence that the Clinton campaign had prior knowledge the guy was British.

Yeah, thanks for the Vox-splination, don't quit your day job.

Your home work for tonite
1. Study up on attorneys as agents for their clients. Courts have ruled on this in various ways, but basically clients call the shots, especially when they are Lawyers themselves, Secretary of States etc.
2. Perkins Coie, law firm Clinton paid $12 million to, very experienced in this kind of crap, try to imagine their contract with Hillary/DNC
3. Lawyers will always cover their own ass before they cover yours. If Perkins Coie gets put in the grinder doubtful they will protect Hillary.
4. Somewhere, somebody has all Hillary and DNC emails, ponder on that.
5. There is no shame using WikiLeaks or any other source if it gets the truth out.

Marlene

Jane, there is an American Samoa (territory) and a State of Samoa (independent). Who knew?

Jane (Stand against the Coup)

And they are tied with New Zealand? How weird.

exdemocrat

How long until we learn that Fusion GPS (obo ?) was behind the effort to set-up Don Jr. by arranging the meeting with Veselnitskaya and Akhmetshin on a false premise?

What? WE ALL LEARNED YOU HAVE TO SWITCH so get ready to do so. :)

Personally I think it's going to continue to crumble. There MIGHT be charges brought against Manafort, but that was expected. Or maybe Manafort gets immunity and sings. Why not - Comey gave it to a bunch of people who didn't even sing.

But who knows, it's all great. The corruption and lawlessness of the Dems will continue to be exposed and they did it to themselves and now no one can pin any of it on Trump or Sessions because Sessions recused.

Kevlar Kid

From last thread re Aaron Sorkin's "West Wing"... i forget which of us mentioned watching the show via Netflix and didn't see it as being about Democrats.

I was the one who brought up the issue. This article does a better job at crystalizing how Sorkin's popular show elevated liberalism over "the rest of us."

Devin Nunes makes it clear that he believes it was the Democrats leaking this information. He points out that it went to their go to for getting info out ( the WaPo ). So that should make your meter spin wildly. They lied to their media buddies faces for a year, repeatedly and sanctimoniously. So why suddenly release it now? Well Nunes was making it quite hot on Fusion and he might have soon got the payment info from them. So if this is bad ( and it is really bad ) you can imagine that there is something even worse in the payment data. Putin sent them a bunch of bitcoin and a voucher for all expense paid trip to Crimea?

henry

Common man, pizza receipts with walnut sauce?

Clarice Feldman

Actually, IIRC the WSJ got the payment info first. The DOJ/FBO was not releasing it in response to a FOIA request, but in a separate piece of litigation, someone in the Administration deliberetly or inadvertently turned it over and the WSJ took the time to read through the discovery document--and voila

Wondering about the ongoing impact of competing forces in Washington for the hearts and minds of the little people who make up the USG bureaucracy.

The Clintonista hold on Washington is about to be broken. GWB didn't fire any Clinton appointees in major positions of cabinet department influence. The Bath House Rat comes in and seeds the bureaucracy with crazies to go along with the previous holdovers.

And then there are the little people in the bureaucracy. The ones who came on board in the during GWB. They were there for the entire RAT'S REIGN. And they were so looking forward (maybe) to a Hildo presidency.

They are the ones who had to operate in the stench of the thievery going on and the misdeeds beginning to play out now in the headlines.

Do they wonder if they have been had? Would any of them stand a chance of being swept up in a dragnet?

Are there mid-level bureaucrats who could turn on their masters? They were intoxicated by the Rat's pretense about ocean's lowering and all that rot. Believing they were part of something good. And then the evil Trump came along....but now the ooze is beginning to stain their carpets.

Might we see some unknowably sourced haymaker come out of nowhere from some obscure corner of the bureaucracy that reveals some of the deeper reach of the uniparty to topple the government under a Hildo presidency?

How much time has the bureaucracy spent (with all those czars in office remember) preparing for the government take down? And how much of that procedural documentation is being shredded (or not-- insurance policies anyone?) now that the alleged Black Hats are really the White Hats and the self-proclaimed White Hats just turn out to be run-of-the-mill thieves and grifters.

All of that criminality was perpetrated on the backs of petty bureaucrats.

Somebody knows sumthin somewhere. It's pretty early in the drama. But there is a lot that a fool like The Rat has got to be sweating because of what he doesn't know, meaning a level of detail as to how things actually got taken care of and who knows the specifics. He signed off on a tunnachit.

Is Valerie Jarrett going to take one for the team? Will Susie Rice or Samantha the Cockroach?

Extraneus

Whisky or bread?

Kevlar Kid

The Rat and his Fat Wife remind me of a couple of 8 year olds who spent themselves sick on candy after cashing in their allowances.

They are disgusting examples of failed leadership.

Something tells me that The Rat is not as untouchable as some people might believe. Of course, all of the false racial drama aside that would likely come up if he were to be prosecuted as an ex-President, i think the sense of betrayal felt by millions over some of the heinous ca-ca he pulled off while lying to their smug faces will outweigh any sentiment about him being a first black president and all of that rot.

We might see a dramatic correction as this tsunami builds against the uniparty. There are more of us than them---- and we give a chit about our standing in the world as a beacon of liberty and justice.

Here's to seeing more heads on pikes and mounds of skulls piled high on the grounds of the Rat Library that is not going to get built.

henry

AG Sessions still has a job. If he has just been putzing along, then this will be one of the greatest coat tail victory of modern times, que no?

Jack is Back!

Hannity is unwatchable by me and I am a Long Islander like him but he spends too much time on him and not on the issues.

Kev, You put in words what the rest of us are visualizing. Good job. If Trump ever needs a poet for his first few years, I recommend you.

I believe with everything henry listed a few threads or comments back we are arriving at critical mass simply because it would have to be a very visible attack to negate everyone of them at the same time. Unpossible in my opinion.

So what they will do is pick the weakest one and try to score a victory to keep the others off the front pages. Which one do you think is the weakest?

Kevlar Kid

JiB-- why thank you.

Washerwoman Shultz. At the confluence of too many bad decisions.

Porchlight

Er, is it actually possible that Sessions recused himself in order to be untouchable when this all came out, which he knew would happen?

More than possible. I suggested that at the time of the recusal and also later when Trump bitched about Sessions to chief receiver of unauthorized WH leaks at the failing NYT, Maggie Haberman. Seemed like a strategic move to create distance.

Trump has had the goods on these people since he took office, if not before.

Going hard on the crooks from day one would have looked like a witch hunt and would not have had public support. They needed time to scope it out while they got the new admin up and running. They needed confirmation for appointments. So many more reasons.

mockmook

Again, Porchlight, wake me when there are perp walks.

Right now, we have the House lamenting that they can't get documents from the DOJ -- WHO THE F RUNS THE DOJ? WHO IS THE PRESIDENT?

Porchlight

AG Sessions still has a job. If he has just been putzing along, then this will be one of the greatest coat tail victory of modern times, que no?

The reason Sessions still has a job is because he is doing what Trump wants him to do and likely what they have planned together. Otherwise he would have been fired.

Reason backwards from that.

Don't be like the opposition and withhold credit. That's what they do to Trump - he bumbled into the nomination, he bumbled into the Presidency, he accidentally did all the right things on [issue], etc.

henry

DWS? The collateral damage takes out the CBC and most iPod the house Dems. Podesta is the weak link, they may even throw his Pedo tendencies into the pot to save the Dons of the Five Families.

Captain Hate

Ergo, is it possible that this so-called Mr. Fudd is going to exact a major price on our enemies?

Anything is possible but there's no tangible evidence he's done a GD thing so far in the middle of a huge nest of vipers, no matter what RG believes he sees. It's a huge job, I can't deny that, and maybe he's doing some major work behind the scenes. The problem is that the longer it takes the longer we have a dysfunctional FBI and DOJ and there will come a time that they'll be needed to step up their game; what happens then?

mockmook

Nope, Porchlight.

Everyday that the Justice department is operated like a Banana Republic is another day of justice denied.

If this is a plan, its a shitty one.

Porchlight

mockmook,

How long does anyone imagine it would take to put a federal case together of this magnitude?

I don't know if it will happen. I do know it's much too monumental to put together in nine months. And you're not likely to get public notice that it's happening anyway. It's not smart and it's not Trump's way.

Meanwhile, enjoy the epic beating the Dems are taking. We need every bit of it for 2018 and 2020.

Captain Hate

Btw RIP Fats Domino even though he's been out of action for so long most people probably assumed he was already dead.

My response to windansea from old thread:

windansea:

I don't expect attorneys for Clinton to be sticklers for ethics. It doesn't go with the job description, and these are the people who flat out lied (with sanctimony) about having their thumbs on the dossier. So, I imagine they have done all they can to wash out the Hillary campaign's agency, here, and it is probably a long ugly trail to untangle. And it would require a judiciary that is interested in untangling it.

WikiLeaks demonstrably does not have the interests of the United States at heart, and Assange's stunts got people who trusted the US killed. I'd trust his statements like you'd trust...Hillary Clinton's

Also, AFA sent a petition around. I like them.
Here's their chart

So far only 10 of the 50 pending nominees are up for a full Senate vote, but Senate Democrats are demanding there be 30 hours of debate on each nominee.
Sen. McConnell said, "If this (30-hour debate) continues, it will take us more than 11 years to confirm the remaining presidential appointments....

Jack is Back!

That should read Chubby Checker not Fats Domino. But I do remember Blueberry Hill.

Does that count as a correction?

Dont look now ( Janet cross your fingers ) but Hampton University just put out a poll showing Ed Gillespie + 8 in the Governors Race. Its a decent sized sample 700 + and Hampton has a history of favoring Ds, so maybe just maybe Virginia is tired of its dalliance with the liar party.

daddy on iPad

Clarice, we stopped for Leonard's famous donuts on the taxi ride to the airport. Yumm! We have now swapped to a different airplane and doing a reload. We might actually get out of here. Is the first pitch in 5 minutes?

henry

All good. chubby is still around.

Porchlight

mockmook, did I say there was a case being put together? I said if there is, it's not likely to be announced. Especially in the first few months of a new presidency.

But here's an exercise. Let's go back to the last time a prosecution of this magnitude was brought, successfully, against a former First Lady/SoS/major presidential candidate, and maybe a former FBI director or two, and a former USAG or two, then a few high ranking former cabinet members, and then throw in a former POTUS or two, and we can benchmark it.

Clarice Feldman

SESSIONS just lifted the non-disclosure agreement on the FBI informant. Now he can inform Congress on the Uranium Deal involving Clinton-Obama and the Clinton Foundation.

About time on the nominations--scrap the 30 hr rule NOW.

henry

Sessions did something? About time!

Kevlar Kid

Podie Odie is definitely in a weak position. But he's not what I'd look at as a "root."

DWS is in congress. She knows a lot of the secrets among congress critters. If I were Trump I'd be more interested in squeezing the DWS boil and having her roll on a lot of people.

How many people is Podie Odie likely to give up?

I don't think POTUS is interested in symbolic victories where the Clinton Omerta holds sway on a prime catch like Podie Odie.

DWS is a much more dangerous player because she is in league with the camouflaged swamp dwellers. And POTUS does well to set that sector of the swamp ablaze--- no telling who those pimps, pederasts, and thieves are likely to give up in the name of reduced or commuted sentences for any number of reprehensible crimes against the Republic.

Jack is Back!

anon: "Hampton University just put out a poll showing Ed Gillespie + 8 in the Governors Race"

Agree with anon that it's not a trend yet. BUT, that is one of the scenarios. The Dems have been terrible and maybe they just crumble as the MSM fragments such that people get glimpses of the true state of affairs.
