MM, if you called breaded pork tenderloin Schweineschnitzel, It seems to be more uppity. Pretty much the same thing, too.

Anyone remember this song from Captain Kangaroo?

Where oh where is dear little Susie,
Where oh where is dear little Susie,
Where oh where is dear little Susie?
Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch!

Pinkin' up paw-paws put 'em in her pocket,
Pickin' up paw-paws, put 'em in her pocket,
Pickin' up paw-paws, put em in her pocket.
Way down yonder in the paw-paw patch!

I think there was a Detroit Tiger baseball player back a while whose nickname was Paw Paw

Happy Veterans Day to all JOMer vets today.

May we live long and prosper in the fruits of our liberty defended at such great personal costs to each of you.

Chicken mole tonight! Good luck, all, with the chutneys et alia...

I was going to cook but Auburn is winning so we might have to eat scrambled eggs.... War Eagle (afraid to breathe!)

The chili here hit the spot. Now I am cleaning up the mess!

Buckeye

Have a pot of homemade chicken vege soup just about ready to serve. Soon as the biscuits come out of the oven.

Enjoying the Georgia - Auburn game, almost as much as giving Sparty that spankin' today.

Jack is Back!

Decided to let the Coq au Vin marinate overnight and go to Fellingam'ivs for Ribeye and a Burger for Frederick. While there we watched War Eagles eat the Bulldog alive.

My scenario and TC's are 1/3 of the way there. CH wont be happy but you could have 2 loss Auburn in the palyoffs.

BTW, Georgia is overrated big time IMHO.

Old Lurker,

Ditto on Mitch Rapp (Kyle Mills standing in for Vince Flynn), but let's also add Scot Harvath (Brad Thor), Gabriel Allon (Daniel Silva), and the new guy on the block Pike Logan (Brad Taylor, who I highly recommend if you like any of the above.

I just read Enemy of the State (Mills), am reading Use of Force (Thor), have Ghosts of War (Brad Taylor) on deck, and batting 4th Point of Contact (Mike Maden subbing for Tom Clancy).

I'm psyched up. Ready to fight for honor, for right, for the American way, and to hell with any stinking politician (R) or (D) who gets in my way.

OMG, Buford.

Hey, that new Judge Leon who took over the Fusion case?

He sort of has a conflict of interest since he's in the Podesta emails!

Yale 1, Princeton 0 in OT. Better season than the last couple, so I raise a beer to the lads.

Miss M, I still love the ping pong balls!

Catsmeat

The ping pong balls! How reliable they were, and so funny!

Miss Marple the Deplorable

One of the reasons I loved that show is that it was funny to adults, too. That was a more recent episode I remember watching with my son!

I LOVED Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit!

Porchlight

Sure does. But I tell you what, as a parent of children who love Barney, it's just about the only way for kids to learn nursery rhymes these days. Although my son's music teacher has taught them some good ones, surprisingly.

President Xi of China has stated that he is upping the sanctions against #NoKo. Said he wants them to denuclearize. Progress is being made.

Daniel Carlson just broke the all-time SEC field goal record - 88 in his career! War Eagle ya'll!!!

MM, they taught together and that email is a proposed paper by a student--that hardly constitutes a conflict.

Beasts of England

I can hear Momto2 screaming and hollering all the way over here!! I'm not surprised by the outcome, either. Nicely done. :)

Just had tortelli Alfredo carbonara. Or, as we say out here in the sticks, pasta with white sauce and bacon. Delicious.

Extraneus

Smoked haddock risotto in progress.

Porchlight,

What you should have is the modern version of the kindergarten my sisters and I went to: Mrs. Turner's Kindergarten at University Heights Methodist Church!

Mrs. Turner and her assistant, Mrs. Barnhardt, ran a kindergarten of 50 children (I am not making this up).

We had blocks, art time, a rhythm band, etc.

The BEST part was that we put on three musical programs a year. I mean MUSICALS. With costumes and props!

I was Annie Oakley the Sharpshooter in the fall Circus Program. We had trick shots worked out with banging 2 blocks together and then the kid holding the target would drop confetti like I had shot it to pieces. (I got the part because I had received a complete cowgirl outfit for my birthday.) Everyone in the class learned to sing "I've Got Spurs That Jingle Jangle Jingle." We also had cardboard elephants and clowns and acrobats. Lots of music.

I was Frosty the Snowman with a complete costume and the actual music learned for the Christmas program.

My sister says she thinks Mrs. Turner had a secret dream to go to Hollywood! LOL!

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Clarice,

This is why I am not a lawyer. I see what you mean.

On the other hand, if we operated by democrat rules, we should be yelling about this and charging collusion.

Anon--some Saturdays are happy and some aren't. Sparty is very young this year, so ....always next year. Urban Meyer should, someday, get his just desserts. we also just finished mussel and coconut curry soup. So good on a day that was winter last night and sunny, warm fall today.

Porchlight

That sounds like a wonderful kindergarten, MM! My kids got to be in some shows put on by their daycare provider. They loved it. I honestly think it gave them some confidence. None of them are ever nervous giving presentations at school.

New thread

Miss Marple the Deplorable

Porchlight,

I think you are right about the confidence. None of us had problems with oral book reports, answering in class, debate, etc.

My second sister even appeared in summer stock and although she was talented, opted instead to go into art education, which she was very good at.

I really think that type of education is good for young kids, and let me tell you, all these years later we all remember being in those shows!

Momto2

I'm not surprised you could hear me shouting, BOE! What a great game. So proud of my TIgers!

War Damn Eagle, Stephanie!!! Whoo-hoo!
