It's more exciting than NY Yankee baseball as foreign journalists speculate on whether Bush will bag Osama before the election.
Hints are everywhere - 9/11 Commissioner John Lehman says that Osama is in South Waziristan.
And what's this? "A “foreign hand” in South Waziristan cannot not [sic] be ruled out, Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao said on Saturday. This story suggests that by "foreign hand" he means that foreigners (apparently Indians) are influencing terrorists within Pakistan. Well, no kidding! But could "foreign hand" mean US troops have been given permission to operate in South Waziristan? Is this an innoculating pre-announcement? Kerry-ites feel the fear! Although, as Kerry himself said, the capture of Osama at any time would be a good thing.
Finally, the BBC tells us that a new push is on.
Nail-biting suspense to the final reel. Even if Osama is dead.
Waziristan (Not Waziristan) would be an
excellent name for a band.
:D
man, that was lame.

Wouldn't it be just great if Bush announced the capture of bin Laden right after the election (it would be amusing in different ways depending on who wins, less so if there's still litigation on the matter).
