If Prof. DeLong (and, on cue, Paul Krugman this morning) were shocked, shocked, to discover that people weren't going to be able to collect BOTH the full scheduled SS benefit AS WELL AS the principal and interest on their Individual Retirement Account (II), shouldn't they have, previously, been all in favor of the Bush plan?
