Appalled Moderate

Um. Newsweek is responsible for this, how?

Bad link to Betsy's page, Tom.

"Someone needs to ask Ed Klein why he felt it necessary to include this accusation as part of his biography," writes Captain Ed.

Someone might also ask why certain blogs feel it necessary to include the accusation in their posts, albeit in the guise of expressing disdain.

It's like setting dog crap on the kitchen table to better examine its offensiveness.

TM

Newsweek is responsible becuase Ed Klein also worked at the NY Times, but I am not cancelling my subscription there, and I want to lash out in impotent rage.

Venting is good.

Isn't that why you started the blog in the first place?

BTW, terrific blog here. I wished you post more but I'm a greedy conservative.

Isn't that why you started the blog in the first place?

I used to start my morning reading the NY Times and pounding the table about their latest outrage. Neither my wife nor my cat werre able to sustin a polite interest in my tirades, so I switched to blogging.

Now my wife has to listen to me rant about the Yankees, and she is reminiscing about the good old days...

Gosh, TM, does that mean you really DON'T disdain this? It's all a disguise?

Durned if you do, durned if you don't.

Hmmm.

The Yankees deserve it, but perhaps not the cat.

Frankly I think this is an idiotic allegation by Mr. Klein. I also think this is little more than a stalking horse. A lefty puts out a scurrilous allegation that no more support than an anonymous source. Get right-wing blogs to jump on it and run with it, 'cause we're all bloodthirsty ignorant bastids, and presto Hillary has all the ammunition she needs to neuter the right in 2008.

It's a stalking horse, nothing more.

Ed, it might have been a stalking horse, but if so, they put it in the wrong race. I've not seen any right wing blogs express anything but distaste and disdain for the person making the allegations, if they address it at all.

Wild sex can leave evidence of apparent violence.
