My friends on the left will enjoy this quick wrap-up of events.
Hey, my friends on the right probably will, too, come to think of it.

"The oil-for-food story was, by definition, about Iraq."
Josh marshall.

If that is the case, what is the democratic stance on oil-for-food? Is there one?
Were foreign governments working against us? Does this mean the calls to internationalize our efforts meant ignoring the oil-for-scandal? Has any democrat ever spoken out about the scandal? Did the new york times ever really cover it? Was it ever mentioned at the most popular dem blogs? To this day, I have yet to see a dem take an agressive stance on the Scandal that is quite evident.
The closest the dems ever came was to speculate about the appointment of Clinton to the Secretary General post. Does that mean he would have fixed the problems, or helped hide the scam that went on all during his presidency?
Please, Mr. Marshall, if as you say, the scandal at the UN was about Iraq...how come dems don't really care?
It is impossible to frame the international communities refusal to get involved with the post-war Iraq, without discussing it...yet the press and the democratic party act as if they are embarrassed.

When I noteced Judy's byline on an oil-for-food story last fall, my snide guess was that the Times gave her that story so that proper libs would know to ignore it.

Cluadia Rossett never got the credit she deserved for her coverage in WSJ.
For the rest of her journalistic life, I'll click on her over Krauthammer and Will. (I still like the guys, but Rossett established her credentials with me thru her coverage. She isn't afraid to say it.)
