The Papal Nuncio was still plummeting through the mists into the Tarn Valley as the doors of the large black Mercedes limousine slammed quietly.
" It was neccessary My Dear",the woman said to her companion.He patted her leg in reassurance.It always gave him a little shiver,part excitement, part fear, when he felt the small automatic strapped to her thigh in its chamois leather holster.
"Was it part of the attraction",he asked himself almost idly.
"We have a plane to catch",he said pulling himself together as the limousine glided smoothly across the Milau Bridge.
