I would love to look through this article but I'm going to be tied up all day pulling crabgrass and dandelions. By hand.
Putting the stereo speakers in the yard wasn't getting it done.

Why don't you just hire an immigrant to pull them for you?
Oh, right. Damned boycott day!

Um, if you had read the article carefully, you would have noticed that the heavy metal would be expected to cause your dandelions and crabgrass to flourish.
(Leaving to go put the speakers on. I LIKE dandelions and crabgrass. Much prettier than dirt!)

TM,
Does this constitute any part of taking the day off in solidarity with
illegal aliens...er...undocumented felons...er...[pauses to check politically correct thesaurus]...our hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding immigrant population who are being oppressed by hard-hearted, anti-immigrant racists and bigots, just because they are here in violation of some silly rules.Yeah, immigrants, that's the ticket.

I don't know about that pesticide article. When I was a boy it wasn't uncommon in my neighborhood to douse us in DDT and Chlordane dust or to sprinkle that stuff all over the house. My neighborhood was all minorities and, well, you know what they say. We all have big hands and wear size 11 or better shoes.
