--LOL. Larry won't know what hit him. You think he will be happy he let me back in? ::grin::--

HAT TIP, SUPER HAT TIP SUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scary's worst nightmare!

topsecretk9

---TM can not be blamed.---

Well I certainly think he walks pretty close on water -- he is after-all a "cult" master -- but I think even TM knows that even though Al Gore invented it - TM does not control the "internets"

well, a bit...wai, well now stop...did you guys get the beamed in message when you woke up too? ::grin::

clarice

Because PW is blog of the week, it's on the top of powerlineblogline's list..HEH

Chants

Someone wake up Seixon.

verner

OK, Lucianne, Sweetness-Light, Byron York at the Corner, Free Republic, Protein Wisedom, Hot Air...have I left out anyone?

I can see a Britt Hume grapevine in the making. And a long piece in the Wall Street Journal on Larry, the VIPERS and their close personal relationship with Joe Wilson.

Fingers Crossed.

Sue, Larry is going to rue the day he messed with you!

Bill in AZ

Sue, verner, ya'll better be careful... scary larry and his buddies have "done things"... er... scary things, I think.

Sue

Bill,

That's why I call him Scary Larry. ::grin::

I ain't afraid of Scary. He doesn't have the brains to be dangerous. 'sides, I sleep with a sawed off shotgun and a mountain of a man. ::grin::

verner

Oh Really? Scary things Bill?

Did I mention my close family member--a registered Republican--in the FBI?

Lurker

Yeah, more like the conservative, accurate, and correct 60-minutes about the VIPSers, et al.

Wow, I can't believe how fast people are linking to that LJ post from their own sites. Kudos to all of you hot-tippers.

Sue

I just hope everyone mentions Scary's close, personal relationship with the Wilsons when they discuss him.

Chants

I think we need another.

LJ just called topsecret:

:Preacher Lady,
Save your breath dear with topsecretk9. He is in a junior college and is not likely to graduate. He lacks the mental tools to excel but has chosen to comment on blogs as a way to compensate for his many inadequacies. A truly sad soul. Karl's mom would have put him in a home.:

Chants

TSK9 is so pathetic she broke the Larry/Wilson/Leopold connection. Here, on this blog.

Sue

Come on Chants, I wasn't going to out my source until Jason did. ::grin::

Lurker

ROFL!

Has anyone sent a screen copy of the entire article...to Luskin?

verner

Update from Allahpundit! Larry's trying to change the post!!! Too Late honey. We got it for ever and ever:

Update: Amazing Larry has more to share with us. Not content to accuse Rove of having driven his mother to suicide, he’s added some new stuff (a) comparing him to Josef Goebbels, (b) calling him fat — twice, for emphasis, (c) reminding us that his mom “would not be proud.” He tosses the “chickenhawk” shit in too for good measure.
Inexplicably, he’s also changed his original smear from “Small wonder his mother killed herself” to “This could help explain why his mother killed herself.” Why? Is this douche so removed from reality that he thinks the new phrasing mitigates it any? It’d be like a mental patient telling you “I went potty in my shoes today,” walking away, then coming back to say, “Actually, I went doody in my shoes today.”

Lurker

And how many posts will Larry delete AND how many posters will Larry end up banning by COB tomorrow?

Lurker

Poor Tim having to ask Sue who Scary is....

Tried to e-mail you but it bounced back.

I don't want to get too specific since I do not want to be the cause of you being stalked. I was going to link to one of your pieces in American Thinker but I thought better of it.

Let me ask you this - Does the term "Notorious MOI" mean anything to you

What about a continuous series of screenshots tracking the changes hour by hour to be made into tomorrow's video for Malkin's Hot Air?

Lurker

Hot Air should include some posts as part of tomorrow's video. Especially the ones of anti-Bush tirade.

JM Hanes

Have I told you guys lately that you rock? Talk about a field trip! The Field Trip of Field Trips.

Chants

TSK9,

Larry Johnson: prejudiced against canines!

Lurker

Here's cowboyneck's post:

"God, you trolls need to just give it a rest. Your collective chastising of Larry Johnson for mentioning Rove's mother's suicide is going nowhere. Its not like Republicans have some sort of ethical higher ground, and the rest of us haven't figured out we have to fight fire with fire. Yeah, thats right, anything is fair game anymore, including Rove's dead mother. Who taught us to fight that dirty? Well, it was none other than that filthy pig, Karl Rove, himself. So, give your weeping and gnashing of your teeth over Larry's post a rest... your patronizing diatribes don't work around here. In other words, go tell it to your Mama's.

Like Larry said, "We are fighting for the soul of our nation..." When things get this serious, then "being nice" doesn't cut it anymore. "Being nice" is what got us into this trouble in the first place. "Being nice" let Karl Rove and George Dubya Bush happen."

All the more...to prove Ann Coulter was right after all.

TS - did you post the Protein Wisdom link on the Larry Johnson Rove remarks? His entire post is worth reading, especially the changes to LJ's orig. post.

Just in case, here it is again. Now I'll scroll back and try to catch up.

Lurker,

A swing through the rest of nutroots land might be worthwhile. I can't afford any more bleach but I'm curious as to the number of times "over the line" might be mentioned. Or not.

verner

Oh Man. What is the Cowboy smoking? Doesn't he realize that Byron Yorks Corner post will be all over DC by tomorrow morning's coffee--and Larry will never get a serious media gig again--ever.

He'll be relegated to the fetid swamp of moonbatdom--right next to George Galloway. You think the Wilsons will admit to knowing him after that little screed?

As described recently in NR (see "Mr. Counterterrorism Guru," June 5, 2006), former CIA analyst Larry Johnson is much admired on the left for his criticism of the Bush White House in the CIA leak affair. A high-profile participant in the last week's YearlyKos conference, he is quoted widely in the press — in recent months, he has been cited in the Washington Post, the New York Times, Associated Press, National Public Radio, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Daily News, Knight-Ridder, and other outlets. But on his own website, No Quarter , he is able to express himself more, well, directly, about news of the day. This evening, for example, he offered his thoughts on Karl Rove:
Leave it to the Porcine Draft Dodger — Karl Rove — to impugn the character of combat veterans. Can't blame him for trotting out the same playbook that worked so well in 2004 against the candidacy of John Kerry. If it worked once it should work again.

Of course I am referring to Karl's speech Tuesday night to Republicans in New Hampshire. According to a piece in Wednesday's Washington Post.
In a speech to New Hampshire Republican officials here Monday night, the White House deputy chief of staff attacked Democrats who have criticized the U.S. war effort in Iraq, such as Sen. John F. Kerry (Mass.) and Rep. John P. Murtha (Pa.), who he said advocates "cutting and running."

"They may be with you for the first shots," Rove said of such opponents. "But they're not going . . . to be with you for the tough battles."

Karl is a shameless bastard. Small wonder his mother killed herself. Once she discovered what a despicable soul she had spawned she apparently saw no other way out. It would be one thing if his vile tactics were simply mere smears of politicians like Kerry and Murtha. They are big boys and should be able to defend themselves quite ably against this turd.

round 2..DING ...DING...

LARRY JOHNSON, IN HIS OWN WORDS, PART II [Byron York]
Update: Larry Johnson has now amended, slightly, his post on Karl Rove. There are no major changes, but apparently Johnson realized he had forgotten to compare Rove to Joseph Goebbels, and he has now corrected that oversight.

Extraneous

I accept that there's an upside to the Republicans framing their resolutions, but why not just give them a length of rope and see what they do with it? What's the worst that can happen?

Actually, this prevents the Dems from being able to throw red meat at their base. They can't pretend to promise bringing our troops home.

ordi

Top,

It's nice to see that Rove's exoneration is driving scary larry CRAZY. Of course we knew it was a short drive. LOL

noah

Reminds me of the same sort of unhinged reaction to a Rove speech about a year ago when he pointed out that some on the left called for understanding of Al Qaeda following 9/11!

PeterUK

Rbert Luskin should make a statement pointing up this is exactly the pusillanimous and scabrous kind of comment emanating from the blogs sinister.
Karl Rove should also speak,in a dignified but grieved fashion.
Then they should sue Larry's arse into a cardboard box.

"Like Larry said, "We are fighting for the soul of our nation..." When things get this serious, then "being nice" doesn't cut it anymore."

Are they trying to create the Crips Nation?

Jane

Nice job everyone! There was something magnificent about watching the whole thing unfold. You guys rock!

What phrase will Cleo invent to apologize for his particular misrepresentation?

"Lefty's Disease" is easily understood, if you know where to look. Find a copy of Richard Mitchell's Less than Words Can Say.

Words never fail. We hear them, we read them; they enter into the mind and become part of us for as long as we shall live. Who speaks reason to his fellow men bestows it upon them. Who mouths inanity disorders thought for all who listen. There must be some minimum allowable dose of inanity beyond which the mind cannot remain reasonable. Irrationality, like buried chemical waste, sooner or later must seep into all the tissues of thought.
Our responsibility is to recognize it, identify it, and laugh it into submission, for our own safety's sake.

Charlie (Colorado)

Please do not misunderstand...I am not advocating "cut and run"...call it the "in-country over the horizon strategy".

Would that be something like "Iraqi forces take the front positions, with US logistical support and as backup forces, and with major operations including roughly 10 percent US forces"?

'Banning' is such an ugly word. It's easier to just f...over using the little tools available at typepad. Now, that's a republican ethic you can all get behind. You know, like putting lipstick on a pig and calling it Miss America. But....it's not
BANNING, is it? You know like, because if Leopold got WHEN Rove was gonna be indicted,
then Rove must not be the sociopathic endomorph everyone says he is.

Wagners' '...Valkyries' played through
a 10 megawatt McIntosh Amp and
Altec Lansing 'Voice of the Theatre'
drivers and woofers cascading, and
not competing with the rotor clap
of the Hugheys as FitzZorro, cigar
clenched in his ivory keys; shouts
orders to his men "Nail that endo-
morph!"

Almost instantaneously, rocket pods
explode around the rotund Rove,
too absorbed in masticating his
T-Bone on a stick, to react to the
lightning attack. Nevertheless,
he scrambles, thinning hair
a'smolderin', to shelter under a side-
walk Bistro table, which conceals
little of his ample frame. Fitz
pulls the dogrocket out of his mouth,
and almost imperceptibly whispers;
"I love the smell of bacon in the
morning."

That's not true. It's fake and not even accurate. It's ahead of the news cycle.

When one peddles an untruth, it is at enormous personal cost. Once exposed, such people can never be trusted again.

Wriggle with euphemisms as they might, they are the ones hurt most by the lie. People who lie don't value language. Language is the coin of the realm, the only means by which people relate. Liars don't see it. They cannot. They have not the language to see it. It's not pretty. It's sad.

Is this supposed to make some kind of sense in english? Why do you feel it is necessary to lie about being banned/censored? What do you hope to accomplish with that?

In fact, have you had a single actual point you are trying to make in this entire thread? If so, please, succinctly list it. I would love to know what your point / argument here is. I'm sure everyone would be interested. Rational debate can be fun!

Jane

You afraid someone is gonna steal that?

There are lots of words I could "steal" from here. I steal Tom's words constantly -but with attribution. I'd love to steal some of Clarice's velvet prose, and many others - PUK, Topsecret and Lurker come to mind.

But then again I'm inclined to steal stuff that actually makes sense - which is probably why I don't understand your concern.

clarice

I stole Ambassador Munchausen from Rick. I admit it. I'd like to think that's the first step in recovery, but, nah, I know I'd do it again.

Barney,
It is hard for a paranoid personality when nobody is out to get them.

Sue

Sad,

I didn't do that much. My posse, however, kicked ass!

Gary Maxwell

Hey Leo

I called you a Liar yesterday. Now we know I was just being facetious. But as it turned I was in fact clairvoyant. You are a big fat liar. You claimed to be banned when you knew it wasn't true. You reappearance here make the prima facia case for you being a blad faced liar. The only thing I cant devine as yet was what was to be gained by the lie? Status with a bunch of paranoid nut cases? "Hey look at me, the JOMers banned me." How really pathetic a creature you must be.

clarice

He was performing a sort of internet version of touching coup.

PeterUK

"Banned at JOM" does that have the same cachet as wearing a thong in downtown Tehran?
