I am working on my Election Eve Push bumper sticker - here we go:
Democrats: Amnesty for Aliens, Civil Rights for Terrorists, Taxes for Us.
OK, its a bit long (and yes, that obviously ought to be "Illegal Aliens"), so I may have to go out and buy a manly, big-bumpered Hummer to fit it on.
My heart is not really into designing a pro-Republican bumpersticker (aka Rep BS), but I welcome suggestions.
And of course, we are open to the possibility of being amused by something from the Pelosi side of the aisle (I sort of picture something like "Republicans - Two More Years of Bush, But It Will Seem Longer", but I am gloomily resigned to the likelihood that actual entries will be more, hmm, emphatic).
Comments are open; Trackbacks may be (there is some techno-puzzle I need to tackle.)
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.
OT...

Compassionate Amnesty, Tough on Terrorists, Here Come da' Judge!
The GOP campaign just isn't energizing me either. "We're Marginally Better than the Only Alternative!" But in the end, that's all it takes to win.

In honor of lefty hero Sadaam Hussein's recent legal troubles, I think the Dems should go with:
Or, if we can't make that fit on a bumper sticker:
As for a Republican bumper sticker, I think cboldt already nailed it above.

Sum of all Fears : President Pelosi
LOL. Another for the 'Must Steal' list. I feel strangely confident we will be seeing that again; about proper attribution, I am less sure.

Dems:We're Hellbent on Losing the War
(Taken from this posted by Instapundit:
"
I say this as a Democrat, for whom the Republican domination of government threatens many values that I hold to be important to America's role as a light among nations.
But there are no values that matter to me that will not be gravely endangered if we lose this war. And since the Democratic Party seems hellbent on losing it -- and in the most damaging possible way -- I have no choice but to advocate that my party be kept from getting its hands on the reins of national power, until it proves itself once again to be capable of recognizing our core national interests instead of its own temporary partisan advantages.
To all intents and purposes, when the Democratic Party jettisoned Joseph Lieberman over the issue of his support of this war, they kicked me out as well. The party of Harry Truman and Daniel Patrick Moynihan -- the party I joined back in the 1970s -- is dead. Of suicide."

The only political bumper sticker and one of a handful of any kind my cars ever wore was, "I miss Ike. Hell, I even miss Harry." You gotta admit, they don't make 'em like that any more.
Posted by: Larry | November 05, 2006 at 03:53 PM
Well, they don't make voters like they used to either...or parties.

Wish I could figure out how to make Eddie Izzard's "Cake or Death?" work for Republicans, but, alas, I fear it's a natural for the Dems..
