I'm definitely rooting for Mickey on this story--listening in to Diana's phone calls where she plans with Forstmann to be the next first lady! Just the sort of thoughtful piece that the media will cover and people will pay attention to..

And I love your headline.

I mean she had to cancel her trip with Forstman and then got killed tooling around Paris with Dodi..

No question marks necessary by Time/Cooper standards. It's a wrap.

Is it any wonder the Progs are all convinced Bush is wiretapping to nefarious purpose?

For your own good, don't go there folks, there are as many Diana Truthers out there as 9/11 Truthers, every one convinced she was bumped off. This is a one Tar Baby you don't want to touch. However if you do have a Prince Phillip/CIA wet job squad story to sell, ring the Daily Express.

Rick Ballard

If the CIA handled it, poor Phil would be but a memory and Diana would have been a headliner standing next to Gork at that Dead Dirt thing the other day.

I know Hil and Bill were listening -now our job is to let the rest of the world know what they were doing. Maybe even have our congressmen have some hearings about the CLINTON wiretapping. How come we are just hearing about this now? When is someone going to ask old Hil about it?

PeterUK

Mr Ballard,
If we can keep Phil the Greek out of it perhaps we can lay the blame in the right quarters.Put this to rest and screw the Heart of Darkness.

Carol Herman

This propaganda crap, a deeply entrenched form of bureacratic "infighting" in DC; is now reaching fever pitch.

Since it's not enough to spook Americans with their take on Irak; we're now getting to watch their FLUBBER-DUBBER GUNS aiming at Hillary, herself.

I guess there's no George Soros money here, huh? To behold. Be bold. Guess. Answers don't matter. Reason flew out the window long ago.

All I can say is that if Hillary "got to listen" she's not the only one. It was a relative sport in England to tape Diana; or photgraoph her at the gym, through hidey-holes.

At one time in space that was big Gnews. Versus tabloids. Of course.

Does it smell of desperation, yet?

Conrad Black Jury Deadlocked

Congratualations Fitz! Great use of resources.

PeterUK

"Does it smell of desperation, yet?"

Nah1 Smells more like "Teen Spirit".

Carol Herman

Rick Ballard, that's wonderful news. It's hardly likely that even if they're sent back, again, to try again, that anyone's gonna send Black to jail just to be able to go home. And, I also think Mark Steyn can get a pretty decent book out of his being at this trial, too. He is such a joy to read.

Carol Herman

This is the link to Mark Steyn's coverage of the Black trial. (He says, if looks tell you anything, the prosecuting attorneys seem more upset, now, than the defense. For what it's worth.)

Re the Diana thing, back when I first heard about this it seemed pretty clear that what Hillary listened to was an NSA intercept. You know--"warrantless domestic wiretapping." The difference was, neither Forstmann nor Di was on any list of suspected terrorists.

"We have discussed and deliberated on all the evidence and are still unable to reach a unanimous verdict on one or more counts." Am I the only one who finds this frustratingly ambiguous? Do they mean that there are one or more counts on which they have failed to reach a unanimous verdict (whereas they are unanimous on the remaining counts)? Or do they mean that they haven't even reached unanimity on a single one? Probably the former, right?

clarice

Probably the former. As Steyn notes there are several defendants and a number of counts.

Paul Zrimsek

For God's sake don't egg him on... you know it's only a matter of time before he drags Ron Burkle into it.

As today's news (and news audience) goes, it's the biggest thing in the world--GO MICKEY!!Connect the dots!!!!!!!!!!!

Lew Clark

The real question is: Did anyone on then Texas Governor George W. Bush's staff hear about this from a "government person", and then lie and say they heard about it from a "reporter person". Because, then we'd have a crime. Forget about Hillary tapping phones and sendind out death squads. That's just good politics. It's those Bushies and their lying and obstruction that has to be stopped!
