Oh God, I am so sick of this guy, and to think that we might have to endure 4 years or more of him at the top. Ugh. Thanks a lot American MSM.

PeterUK

It also takes a British, PAPER - THE SUN to point out that you know more about Captain Nemo than you do about Barrack Hussein Obama. William Shawcross points out that less is known about Obama than any presidential candidate in history.

vinman

Hope knows no national boundaries.

TM:

Here some things you will learn about Obama in the post-November future:

He was bit by a radioactive spider in high school, causing him to bitterly cling to the walls of buildings;

For a period in the eighties, he roamed the American West in a mask, with his trusty native-american companion, Tonto;

In his spare time, Obama puts on a deerstalker, calls his dear friend, Dr. Biden, and solves crimes through great feats of ratiociznation;

Obama also works for the British government. Code name -- 007.

That bit about the fake birth certificate was true. Obama can't be president because he was born on the planet Krypton and sent here on a rocket ship when the planet exploded as a result of global warming... If I remember correctly, he even admitted this in a recent speech

PDinDetroit

OK - TM must be feeling better. This article shows he is back to his "cheeky" self.

However, that Ms Onyango made a contribution to the Obama campaign would indicate that she is a US citizen.

"For a period in the eighties, he roamed the American West in a mask, with his trusty native-american companion, Tonto;"

That would be BONTO - Barrack Obama,Not the One.

Charlie (Colorado)

She may just have said she's contributed in order to avoid being struck by a thunderbolt.

PeterUK

Presumably,Ms Onyango has tax returns??

PDinDetroit

TSK9 - I think it is even easier than that, you only need mention his name for all things to be possible and for all doors to open.

Wonder when that half-brother of his will want an upgrade from a tin shack to an apartment in the projects?

PDinDetroit

At least Jack only traded the family cow for a bag of magic beans,the American electorate seem to be betting the farm. The Nigerian branch of the family must be green with envy.

Patrick R. Sullivan

Jack Cashill reports that four tests have been performed and the results support his hypothesis that "Dreams" was at least partly written by Ayers:

"Using the chi-square statistic," observes one professor, "Obama's and Ayers's books were indistinguishable, while Obama's book was easily distinguishable from books by other authors."

Writes another analyst, using his own proprietary software, "There is a strong likelihood that the author of "Fugitive Days" ghost-wrote "Dreams From My Father" using recordings of dialog (either tape recorded or notes). Alternatively, another scenario could be possible: Ayers might have served as a 'book doctor.'"

One systems engineer writes, "The statistical style analysis performed by our research team suggests that the writing style of 'Dreams From My Father' is significantly more similar to the style observed in 'Fugitive Days' than to the style found in other works by Barack Obama such as 'Audacity of Hope.'"

He continues, "Even more interesting, when we extract those sections of 'Dreams From My Father' that Dr. Cashill believes to be Ayers' writing and treat this as a unique document, the style analysis software identifies a stronger correlation between this sample and Ayers' 'Fugitive Days' than we see between this same sample and the remainder of 'Dreams From My Father'! Thus we have reason to believe that 'Dreams From My Father' had at least two authors, and one author's measured style features more closely match those of Ayers than they match those of the other author(s)."

"Under the Q-value statistic," argues one university-based analyst who tested "Dreams" against Ayers' 2001 memoir, "Fugitive Days," "segments of 'Dreams' consistently compared as well with 'Fugitive' segments as it did with other segments of 'Dreams' itself. In contrast, 'Dreams' compared poorly with other documents."

Charlie (Colorado)

I just said this in the other thread, but ---

1) The Neilsen rating on the Obamawow commercial last night was about half the debate Neilsens; I suspect that was almost entirely decideds.

2) Fox News poll has McC/P back **3** against back 9 last week, gaining among undecideds, Catholics, and on the economy.

Amazing, the suggestion that Obama's aunt may be an illegal alien and may have donated to O's campaign illegally brings out such appalling wit in some people.
However accusations that Sarah Palin is not Trigs mom------nada----how appalling.

Hmmm.

"Let's see - in Ohio the state routinely checks people in the news, or so we are told. OK, as if."

But not if they're registered to vote.

Charlie (Colorado)

More Ohio shenanigans:

  • A man who most recently lived at Rescue Mission in Syracuse, N.Y. He listed his address as 154 E. Long St. Downtown. There's no such address. The 49-year-old man never has registered to vote in New York.

  • A 27-year-old man who has lived in Kentucky since 1998 listed his address as 2462 Parsons Ave. That address, if it existed, would fall somewhere below the Rt. 104 overpass near the railroad tracks in a heavily industrialized area of the South Side.

  • A 33-year-old native Californian who voted in Ohio on Oct. 4 using the address of a German Village [old section of Columbus--me] house. The current resident of that house and the Californian were roommates at UCLA in the mid-1990s. The California native is registered as a permanent vote-by-mail voter in San Francisco County, meaning that he can vote there as well. He had utilities connected at his new business address in San Francisco on Sept. 1. His MySpace account, last updated in August, lists his address in San Francisco.

With respect to the Cashill research, the fact that Ayers may have written portions or all of Zero's books is of no concern to me. What concerns me is that Ayers-type thinking will be the moving force in substantially all of the federal legislation over the next four years if Zero wins.

Feds probe Countrywide's 'VIP' program -- Chris Dodd, Kent Conrad, Franklin Raines

NBC News has learned that Robert Feinberg - a former Countrywide loan officer who handled what were known as the "VIP" mortgages - spent six hours last Thursday with a six-person team from the Justice Department. The team included prosecutors from the Public Integrity section, which handles investigations of possible public corruption.

AP (Washington, DC)

The campaign of Barack Obama today released part of their fiscal plan for balancing the United States budget. This plan, dubbed " Nigerian E Mail America! Yes You Can!", will be administered by the United States Department of the Treasury.

The plan calls for a minimum of 10,000 new, highly paid internet development and call center jobs, and will be directed at "China, Europe, and other places that have lots of money and stupid people", said an unidentified spokesman.

Mass e mails will be sent out advising recipients that Secretary Ofanjuo Olesegun Obasanjo of the Department of Mines and Graft deposited $1,000,000,000( One Billion Dollars!) in a secret bank account known only by the sender, who will then request certain bank processing charges be forwarded before the recipient can claim the full amount of funds at the National Bank of the USA in gold ducats.

It is expected this program will balance the $3 Trillion budget defecit within 3 years, said the unidentified source. within 5 years, Social Security and medicare will also be fully funded, allowing for increased spending on unicorns and rainbows...."

end....

Charlie (Colorado)

Yeah, I've got to admit that the notion that someone might have ghost-written a popular Democrat's books doesn't surprise me.

Sources: Sarkozy views Obama stance on Iran as 'utterly immature'

French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama's positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel's government.

Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate's stance on Iran as "utterly immature" and comprised of "formulations empty of all content."

The sad thing is I can see Obama proposing this with a straight face, and Reid and Pelosi nodding in agreement.

"More money for ACORN to solve the illegal problem".

Captain Hate

Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate's stance on Iran as "utterly immature" and comprised of "formulations empty of all content."

Sarkozy was being charitable by just retricting those characterizations to his stance on Iran.

I've got an idea: Since the nation is so divided why don't we just have a co-presidency? McCain can do the stuff that isn't fun, like deal with the Middle East, formulate tax policy, deal with security issues and nominate people to the courts. Obammy can do the lightweight stuff that he seems to be so good at such as appearing on the intellectual shows where his stammering syntax is often confused with real thought; shows like "Ellen", "Countdown with Queef Uberdouche" and "Blueballs with Tweety".

I know that flies in the face of the Constitution but who pays attention to the moldy document put together by dead racists and christianists that never watched MTV.

Captain Hate

retricting == restricting

I suppose some folks heard Rush talking about the commenter on Hillbuzz that's basically saying that Obama has been gaming the polls and the blogs and Youtube, which I assume most of us had already figured out. Ya know, it's one thing to spin things for politics, campaign hard, etc, etc. It's an entirely different thing to propagandize and outright lie to get elected.

If Frank Marshall Davis is his father, Obama has no obligation to be brother George's keeper or any of the other Kenyan contingent's keeper. He's just being financially responsible....

Sad news(NOT):
"Call it the Five Percent Plan.

The Observer has learned that all Condé Nast publishers and editors have been told they have to cut their staffs by 5 percent and their budgets by 5 percent within weeks, according to five Condé Nast sources.

It will affect every title, including the company's most successful: The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Wired, Glamour and down the line.

The plan is not just a 5 percent overall spending reduction but rather two distinct 5 percent cuts for each title, guaranteeing that titles cannot meet the goal without cutting staff.

First, each book will have to cut 5 percent of its payroll. They can do this through laying off staff or eliminating open and unfilled positions or a combination of the two.

Second, each book will have to cut 5 percent from its non-payroll budget lines: travel and expenses, meals, freelancers, etc."

It certainly makes more sense than naming an attack submarine after a pro-unilateral disarmament, terrorist-schmoozing ex-President.

Apologies if already posted:

GOP Halves Democratic Lead in Generic Ballot

Republicans have cut the Democratic advantage in the generic ballot question in half over the past week, according to a new GW-Battleground poll.

Democrats now lead by four points, their slimmest lead in more than three years. A week ago, according to the George Washington University poll, their advantage was eight points. Meantime, the congressional approval rating remained low, at 19 percent, up two points from the previous poll.

Now that the pollsters have suddenly decided to get honest with us (for the sake of their reputations if for no other reason), a lot of light is being shed.

I think Team Obama must be very, very nervous.

I'm still wondering about the story of Obama's mom being 14 when she had BHO. Because that would be the best reason about the missing birth certificate. I looked up the info and with the dates given, it seemed pretty much impossible. But I'm still trying to figure out if there was some way the dates could have been fudged a few years and which one - Dunham's birthdate, BHO's birthdate, the marriage date. None of them really, but I'm still wondering.

sylvia

Just as a related anecdote, one of my friends in college told me a story where her parents took her and her siblings aside when they were in highschool, and announced that their mom was one year older than their dad. And they had spent their whole lives thinking their mom was one year younger than their dad. Their parents never told the kids the truth because they were embarrassed to have the wife older than the husband. So these lies take on a life of their own.

Sylvia, Word. No one ever said Obama's mom was 14 when she gave birth. The law at the time (since repealed and the repeal apparently made retroactive per Volokh) was that if she gave birth to a child by a non-US citizen outside the U.S. and was less than 19 (this is a shortcut way of explanation), her child would not be a "natural born" citizen.

Do not try to engage me on this point. I won't respond.
