A Christmas treat for NYC fans: CC SABATHIA PICKS YANKEES
Tampa Bay will resume its rightful place somewhere south of New York. And Red Sox Nation? See, see ya later.
Nice to be able to foresee the restoration of the natural order after this chaotic year.
Hey! Redsox nation is alive and well, thankyouverymuch.
Who the hell is Sabathia?

The natural order of things, TM, appears to be that for the first fifth of a century, the Sox rule. So you will have to wait until about 2019 or 2020 before you can even think about a World Series win for the Yankees.
By the way TM, as a long suffering Sox fan, it amuses me that the Yankee fans now make dissing noises against the Sox and "Red Sox Nation." I guess you Yankees fans have become unglued and forgotten that your supposed to ignore us. :-))

And I guess I have become unglued with excitement over TM hot stove league talk and used "your" instead of "you're."

Obama has no more on the ball than a fadeaway.

Oh good grief! TM must have slept through the repeating banging of that fat bottom drum in the playoffs two seasons ago. Take a gander at CCs record against The Sawx and record in Fenway - with a good team behind him (you just couldn't see them... bada boom).

I take all that back - David Wells informs that pinstripes are quite slimming /snicker.

Fat bottom drums they make the rockin' girl go round.

lifelong Yankee fan but worrier by nature doesn't think the Bosox will let this go unanswered. The beantowners will sign some more megabucks Japanese talent. And don't these ballplayers' salaries sound like chump change now that you're used to hearing trillions thrown around in bailout talk?

CC is 300+ pounds now. Who knows where he will stop. Macy's Thanksgiving Parade probably. Replace the Garfield balloon
According to ESPN, SEVEN years. At least 2 1/2 to 3 years will be on the DL as he gets over 30 and loses that peak condition he is in now.

The Evil Empire will be asking for a bailout too.
Just you wait.

And in other baseball news...
The Yankees still suck.

Please. We've seen this movie sooo many times. And it never ends with the Yankees on top.

TM,
Bring back George Costanza.

all I know is that the Angels are going to bring up a couple more kids who will throw fire and lightning...now if we can just get some consistent hitting....

the Yanks and Mets are already tryiing to get more money for their stadiums....maybe they should have delayed tearing down their old fields....not the best time for a bunch of rich, spoiled owners and athletes to be snogging at the public trough.

Don't count your chickens yet, TM. The last two seasons this guy has thrown 243 and 253 innings.
The Steinbrenner/Cshman Yankees have a storied history of paying huge amounts to guys who have just passed their prime and are heading into a downward spiral. They're a mighty old club--the look like a 1999 all-star team.

Looks as if the Yankees are really trying to avoid a repeat third place division finish. See LUN.
