Geez, I am God's partner now just because Obama was elected? Or is it just Obama that is God's partner? No, he said "We are God's partner in matter of life and death".
Well, I'm sure it's nothing to get wee-wee'd up about. When Bush talked like this the left fell to pieces because they thought he meant it but with Obama they know he's just putting it on for the rubes.
WITH GOOGLE ON MY SIDE: George Bush, John Edwards and Sarah Palin knew, with Abe Lincoln, that we hope to be on God's side but never presume Him to be on our side; John Kerry is still thinking it over. And The One is now expanding the Holy Trinity into some structured partnership - what will Wall Street conquer next?
I guess the tony prep school grad who went on to Occidental, Columbia and Harvard Law was too busy studying the PC modern texts to peruse Chapter 38 of the Book of Job. If he had, he might not be so loose with his humans as partner of God talk. See LUN.

Regarding Obama's comment about being your brother's keeper; He seems positively engaged in carrying out what he calls God's commandments--even though on closer inspection (Genesis 4:9) the source of the 'brother's keeper' command is derived from Cain responding to God's inquiry about his brother Abel whom he had killed. In otherwords Obama has confused God with a murderer.

Matthew 24:48-51
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Wright....represents the best of what the black church has to offer".
If you listen carefully to BO's interview in 1995, I can hear him say that his faith is in the black liberation theology of Rev. Wright, and his mentor, James Cone.

I think when you guys wake up in a couple hours a big topic will be the release of the Pan-Am bomber back to Libya, and his hero`s welcome by the country. Khadafi`s son says his release was tit for tat to grease the palms so the Brits could do some Oil deals. Gordon Brown is in Scotland on Holiday, but apparently keeping mum amid the outrage. I await P`UK`s input.
Over here CNN International and the BBC keep saying Obama harshly criticized the release of the guy, but all I see on the news is as Obama`s walking away from an outdoor event a reporter hollars out what did he think of the release, and what I think he answers back over his shoulder as he continues walking is simply "It was objectionable."
And where the Media got "harshly critical" out of "It was objectionable" beats me. "It was Objectional" is more suited to a comment on Michelle in a pants-suit, not to a Nation giving a hero`s welcome to a mass murderer of innocent civilians.

Daddy,
A convoluted tale. Please note,the Queen would only get involved at the behest of the government,since she is a Constitutional Monarch and this is political.
There is also an element of the Scottish National Party giving two fingers to Westminster.
Tony Blair was heavily involved. Oil is thicker than blood.
Utterly appalling! But all in all,what else would you expect from a bunch of socialists?

Yes, Robin finally quits lying and comes straight.
And Salon's Gabriel Winant borrows from the marvelous JOM Three stooges parody and in a less funny version notes it's applicable to Dem leaders on the health care fight:
"There’s a weird self-referential aspect to all this. The Senate Democrats won’t pass a bill with a public option, thanks to their rightmost members, and the House Democrats won’t pass a bill without one, thanks to their leftmost members. The president wants one, but is apparently ready to do what he has to in order to claim victory. Hoyer and Pelosi (as well as their Senate counterparts) are falling back on a version of, “Well that’s a nice idea, but I can’t support it, because it won’t pass.” Daschle thinks the “nuclear option” isn’t the best method, apparently, because it looks bad, not because it works any less well.
As long as the Democrats keep falling all over themselves and each other like this, the Republicans will barely have to do any work at all to block reform."

Jane:
"Perhaps this was said elsewhere, but it seems to me that given the Friday afternoon deficit figures, Healthcare reform is officially dead."
And Team Obama has known about it for weeks too. These are the numbers that normally come out at the end of July.
