That is a great catch by Patterico - a self-proclaimed doctor at a health care town hall meeting was really a social worker looking to enhance her credibility.

I bet she has a son serving in Iraq, too.

High-larious. What is the left's fascination with false-flag operations? Do they just assume that if they show up as themselves nobody will listen to 'em? Hmmmm? Should we just assume anyone supporting Obama's health care is a plant? (And if not, why not?)
BTW, be sure not to miss the link to the Che Guevara flag-waving moonbat sitting next to Roxana at the meeting . . . Too funny.

Your snarky chuckle of the day in re Meghan McCain.

She’s obviously a life-long republican who just changed parties due to the shrill protesters and mean signs against Obama’s healthcare.

Wow, going to the website that NRO lifted that from is even more impressive. Anybody interested on a pool predicting the date of the "Meghan McCain Enters Rehab" headline?

Just making sure I touch all the bases, but maybe Ms. Mayer has 4 years of experience as a general practitioner in Cuba.

That was snarktastic, in addition to being on point.

For her addiction to bikers? Or tatoos?
Not since John Daly quit showing up regularly on the golfing tour, have I seen a person more riven with debilitating addictions!

Someone needs to tell Megan McCain her 15 minutes are up.

Here's a link to a comment on the post Cecil links to above. Amazing.

Here'ss the Chronicle's slideshow. They grudgingly admit that Mayer identified herself as a doctor, but her name isn't in the state database.
Which is a big step short of identifying her as a liar.
They also scrubbed the comment from a woman who claimed that Mayer was a doctor, and had treated her quintuplets(!) for swine flu(!!)

Let's see if this gets as much coverage as "Joe The Plumber isn't even a licensed plumber!!!!111!1!"

Patterico's latest update: Mayer's admitted she was invited by a mass email from that campaign worker who had the Che Guevara poster in her office (remember that one from last year)? But says she doesn't really know her.
So the fact that they ended up sitting next to each other in the front row of the townhall, and Mayer and the woman on the other side of Che Guevara lady had matching clipboards, is probably just coincidence.
Hard to say if it's definitely coincidence b/c Mayer has announced she's been advised not to talk about this anymore.

Turns out Pelosi was right, these townhalls are degenerating into astroturfing events.
