Anyway, good for both of them that it seems to have ended well; and Oblammo was still a moron for stepping in it.

Hey, so they're saying the GDP increased at a 3.5% rate and they've "created or saved" one million jobs. Document drop at 3pm on a Friday. Guess those are the talking points for the Sunday shows.
RUSH will be on FOX Sunday with Wallace. That should brighten Rahms day. :)
and at 6:18am
Gatewaypundit reported that the White House website Recovery.gov reported 30,383 jobs.
In fact the White House website reported today that a total of only 30,383 jobs have been created or saved by the Obama-Pelosi Stimulus.
They seem to have lost around 970,000 jobs some where. Or, maybe they were never there to begin with?
The US has lost 3.3 million jobs since the Obama-Pelosi stimulus act passed.
The US unemployment spiked from 7.6% to 9.8% this year under Obama… the highest rate in 26 years.
at 5.18 pm a commenter said the total was 640,329.
Very fishy. No update on the post from Gatewaypundit.?
Major Garrett asked a great question today. Yesterday, Gibbs said that the Recovery Act was the reason the GDP was 3.5%. Then, when asked about the "Cash for Clunkers" fiasco, Gibbs said that it was responsible for 1.66% of the 3.5% GDP. Today, Garrett asked for a clarification. Gibbls provided none other than wouldn't Garrett agree the GDP was stimulated?
Completely OT, Mrs. C.. has legitimate complaints, as you can imagine. I've agreed, apologized, come off hiatus and taken on two additional jobs.
This afternoon, she used a turn of phrase I was hitherto unfamiliar with, to wit " I'm looking for a place to put my anger"
Auto normally adds 0.1% to GDP. Since it added 1.7% this time, 1.6% of it was abnormal and government induced. Take that out of 3.5% GDP growth and you've got 1.9%. Government spending accounted for virtually all of this growth as well. The proof: wages were down 0.5% during the quarter. Tax receipts were down. And real personal income was down 3.4%. There is simply no way to spin this as a recovery.
The 600,000-odd jobs they now claim is absolutely risible. They are counting one person hired for one day as a "job," I presume. This is single worst administration in modern history, and it's arguably paired with the worst Congress in all of history.
I don't know what to do. But I did donate to Doug Hoffman tonight. He needs our help.
I can't tell you the number of these stupid signs that have shown up in my Republican county:
Inevitably, they are on country roads where cows cross, roads with little traffic and four way stops that are being widened for no reason. On top of that, there are vehicles absent of any workers or workers asleep in vehicles that are parked.
It is ALWAYS a 45 day detour for maintenance that could of been done in a week. And I am sure it is all union work!!! It is driving me crazy.

Yeah, I can tell you why. The Guardian makes the New York Times look like the Washington Times when it comes to espousing the glories of leftist culture and politics. Anything that can shed a negative light on Palin (i.e. she eats her babies) will most certainly fit their appetite much more than a recipe for moose-burgers. Plus, Levi fits the IQ parameters that their readership desires in the American citizen-idiot. Want to bet the first thing they bring up about Levi is that he doesn't have a passport?
I was up very early this AM and turned on CNN. They did a 5 minute segment on Palin's new book without once mentioning the name of the book. The anchor was clear miserable at the thought of talking about her at all.
