Joe Biden goes to Vancouver and nearly kills Olympic great Peggy Fleming. OK, nearly nearly.

After reading about Pres. Bush and Pres. Obama, I assume Biden gets to pick his secret service detail, and like the aforementioned presidents, he probably picks like-minded individual sympathetic to him.....and that explains everything.

If this were Bush's third accident we'd have special prosecutor by now.

It's Cheney's fault.

Can we have Biden delivered to a "secure, undisclosed location"? They can let him make a speech on April 1st each year.

Biden can "bore" anyone to death. His lies are not even interesting.

Headline from the Independent:
James Lawton: Vancouver’s quick descent from high ground
Kumaritashvili had just 26 practice runs, as opposed to the 200 for the Canadians
Obviously Global Warming Unmasked is a far bigger story than the Olympics today, but the moral bankruptcy of the Canadian Olympic organizers is worth noting.

C'mon. Biden had nothing to do with it.....
it was Bush's fault.

Not sure which has a worse safety record: Joe's motorcade or Ted Kennedy's car. The trend favors Kennedy.
And while we're on a safety note, I'm having a hard time seeing how the guy who died on his 26th practice run would benefit from more practice runs. (That's a bit like scheduling more crossings for the Titanic.) Slowing down the track and screening or padding the steel poles would seem to be a better bet.

OT: Today we learn that Amy Bishop also robbed a car dealership at gunpoint (apparently no charges) and "- was a far-left political extremist who was “obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting"
Maybe Eric Holder will demand the charges be dropped.

All I know is, that if we want the USA to win medals we have to keep Uncle Joe and The Won away from those venues.
So far the biggest upset/surprise for me in the winter Olympic history is our guy Johnny Spillane getting a silver in Nordic Combined. 86 years without a podium finish. It should have been gold. But American's finished 2-4-6. Not even the Norwegians, Swedes or Finns had that kind of team finish. Its possible the American's could win gold in the Team event if they can get their jump points.
The world is upside down.

Biden lied for years about the "drunk driver" who killed his wife and child.

“obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting"
Does that mean she was just uncomfortable to be around because of voicing her opinions, or does it instead mean that she was a raving, spittle flecked fanatic? "Off-putting" leaves a lot of leeway if I understand it correctly.

"...American's finished 2-4-6. Not even the Norwegians, Swedes or Finns had that kind of team finish..."
Well obviously JiB that's because Global Warming got rid of all the snow over there in Scandanavia, while our guys can still practice up in Alaska, so more Co2 equals more Gold Medals for the US of A in winter type stuff. Whoo hooo!

Deb, I gather Biden's g\hold n reality is exceedingly tenuous.

"Biden's g\hold n reality is exceedingly tenuous."
Scott Brown thinks so TOO
Scott Brown to Joe Biden: Don’t lecture me on military law
My money is on Scott Brown.

After saying that Iraq would be one of the Obama Administration accomplishments, Biden went on TV Sunday to say that the price was too high.
Typical for everything with Team Obama, everything they do costs too much.
