A blogger in his PJ's? A ha ha ha ha! Come on. Against a woman of my towering stature? I'll insist that he call me "senator" during the debates, while I call him "Mickey". The difference is, I've got Obama.
Additionally, [Sibel] Edmonds claimed that [former Deputy Undersecretary of State Marc] Grossman, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey before taking his State Department post, had tipped off Turkish diplomats to the true identity of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson’s front company, Brewster Jennings & Associates, a full three years prior to their being publicly outed by columnist Robert Novak.
An OT on Polar Bears since they are just coming up in the news as a big pawn in the AGW debate and especially important in potentially shutting down development in Alaska.
The current PC thesis being pushed seems to be that Polar Bears are coming south because the north is melting, and that a Grizzley has been spotted going north due to northern warming which is unheralded. Mixed in with that is that recently a hybrid Griz/Polar has been shot, which is supposed to be an unheard of thing.
Well ">http://news.sciencemag.org/sciencenow/2010/03/early-polar-bear-discovered-in-a.html"> Science magazine says that they just positively determined via DNA from a single jawbone that Polar Bears evolved from Southern Alaska Brown Bears only 120,000 years ago. Then they tell us: "The DNA evidence and the location of the find suggest that polar bears were just beginning to spread out across their Arctic habitat between the last two ice ages, when Earth's climate was warmer than it is today...the Svalbard area, north of the Arctic Circle and far from the competitors inhabiting the continental land masses, offered just the right refuge where the bears could persist through the warming period before the last ice age and then begin to adapt to a life amid the frozen sea."
Now ">http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/greenliving/85828202.html"> this new story, which you've probably seen, tells us in summer 2009, 3 "grizzly bears have moved northward into Manitoba, Canada -- previously considered to be the exclusive realm of polar bears."
Yet this BBC story from 2006, about a hybrid Polar/Griz shot in Northern Canada in 2006, says "There have long been stories of oddly coloured bears living in regions where the two territories overlap."
Then add to that that this BBC story tells us that ">http://news.bbc.co.uk/earth/hi/earth_news/newsid_8344000/8344367.stm"> White Black Bears a race of Black bear, inhabit parts of Western Canada. And if you keep googling you can come up with brown and black and blonde Grizzley bears, and off colored Polar Bears, and I also recall posting just last year how a 30 year Polar Bear Expert spotted a Baby Polar Bear backpacking on his mom's back. He was startled at that unheralded behavior, yet all the natives knew all about it, and my question was what kind of an expert is that?
I am no expert on Polar Bears at all, but simply reading through the stories I linked, it's pretty obvious that neither are the Polar Bear experts themselves. Before this latest jawbone discovery, estimates were Polar Bears started between 50,000 to 1 million years ago, yet 1 tooth from that jawbone settles the science at 120,000 BC? Such Stuff as AGW Dreams Are Made on if you ask me.
Sorry my longwindedness, but I need to quick become educated and throwing together these disparate links helped the organization process. The push to declare them and the Cook Inlet Beluga's is big on the news up here lately, and I'm just not hearing the other side of the story.
Kim: Mickey will need to get on the "side of the gods" against the environmentalists who are trying to turn this state back into desert. The anger is growing every day.
The MSM is out to punish Senator Bunning (R-KY) for standing up to the out of control federal spending. I just sent a Thank You email to him....and one to Sen. Inhofe for his work on the AGW fraud.
Thanks Daddy, for your "long winded post." I learned a lot from it. We all need to educate ourselves and share the information with as many people as possible.
The next two elections will be the struggles of our lives.
daddy, a whole lot of the bulk of the settled science about global warming is just documenting the effect of warming. The assumption has been that that warming was from man, and that assumption is now being revealed as the mistake that it was. In fact, we know very little.
==================
Except there has been no warming since 1995, and the Times in 1989, said there was no evidence of warming since 1895, other than that, we are going to drown then freeze
If you know any registered Dems in California, Mickey writes that his immediate need is to get enough of them to sign his petition.

The WaPo has another article - front page today - wishing Rahm Emanuel was the President. Rahm is the "voice of reason".LUN
Might hurt "I won" Obama's feelings....

Nevermind.

The first article LUN was a Dana Milbank column on Sunday. Obama should listen to Rahm instead of Jarrett, Axelrod, and Gibbs.
I guess the WaPo figures Obama is an empty suit too. We get to watch a fight over who gets to pull the puppet strings.

Rahm is throwing Obama under the bus. Now it will be interesting to see if Obama has the spine to do anything about it.
