1) She petitioned Mitch Ruchim on parentage. So was she married when she got pregnant? If she was married she most likely already knew who the father was right? Since she had to petition he most likely said the kids not mine and I'm not paying - right? He's an attorney - why did he do that unless he thought she was sleeping around or something?
2) Mitch Ruchim in Chicago is associated with the Rory David Deutsch Foundation - in which Rahm Emanuel made a floor speech about when he was in Congress. Coicidental probabably BUT...that 6 degrees of seperation on who leaked the story seems to keep going back to Chicago. I'm curious about that. And now Ms. Bialek - who hails from - Chicago.....
3) She is not credible. A filed complaint = credible. A slap across the face = credible. A kick to the nuts = credible. "I was embarrassed to tell" by a women who appears to have been unmarried and pregnant = not credible. Pleading with Cain to just "admit you did it" = not credible. Seeing Cain a month ago and him not remembering her = angry scorned woman.
And let's see if she has ALWAYS been a registered Republican. Just niggling here, niggling there - something smells in Chi-Town.
. . . when she sought his help after losing her job at the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s. [. . . ]
“You want a job, right?” she said Mr. Cain responded. “I asked him to stop and he did.”
So, do we have a textbook case of sexual harassment, or a disgruntled employee? She waits more than a decade to come forward, and hires Gloria Allred? I don't think Cain would make a very good president (though he'd be an improvement), but this isn't very convincing stuff.
When the complainant comes along holding ?Gloria Allred's hand, my bullshit meter hits the peg! In fact Gloria Allred is my idea of a stimulus package for my BS meter.
To paraphrase James Carville, you'd be surprised what story you might find when you drag the prospect of a news conference with 100 reporters across Ms. Allred's desk.
Nothing Says Credibility Like Gloria Allred
If the latest accusation against Herman Cain is true, he "is not guilty of sexual harassment. He is accused of having made a gross, dumb and reckless pass at a supporter during a low point in her life. . . . In other words, [Cain] took 'no' for an answer."
That quote is from Gloria Steinem, the big-time feminist, though of course the man she was defending wasn't Herman Cain. It was Bill Clinton, after Kathleen Willey accused him of groping her in the Oval Office. Cain's new accuser, Sharon Bialek, appeared at New York's Friars Club this afternoon alongside small-time feminist Gloria Allred.
He's an attorney - why did he do that unless he thought she was sleeping around or something?
Because he could? Because he is an attorney and he could pepper her with paper and delays 'til the cows come home and she was broke and couldn't fight back? Because he has the legal contacts?
Cain acted "sexually inappropriately with me" she told her boyfriend and later her friend/mentor on her return, but she was "too embarrassed to provide details"? Ridiculous.
Because he could? Because he is an attorney and he could pepper her with paper and delays 'til the cows come home and she was broke and couldn't fight back? Because he has the legal contacts?
Really? She petitioned him. I don't see where he delayed the findings? He forced her to legally petition for parentage and he's wrong to do that? Nope. She made an accusation that he was the father, and he forced her hand in court, if we want to make assumptions. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
Anyway, she is not a credible accuser in the Cain debacle.
I have been on the phone all day threatening if the election is close tomorrow that I will be on the local news with my new voting rights lawyer, Sharrod Brown's attorney.

I'm with enlightened. Unless I knew I had an exclusive relationship with a women and someone claimed I was the father of her child and therefore responsible for its support for 18 or so years, I would want proof.
I'd certainly try for the child's sake to have the paternity test done amicably outside of court and the support agreement entered into without litigation except to enter the agreement .
Ann:
The Cleveland Plain Dealer had all the rules posted for absentee ballots in last week's paper. They need to be postmarked by today Nov.7TH or handed in at the Board of Elections today or tomorrow.I amsorry this happened. There was also early voting which ended on Friday.
The timeline still seems off, they were closing in on Gingrich around that time,
the following year, Salon unearthed Hyde's
indiscretions, between Cain and the Insurance
association, Hillarycare had gone down in flames, there wouldn't have been a way to
take down one of their most prominent opponents.
If I were in candidate Cain's shoes and innocent, I'd have my private investigators working diligently behind the scenes uncovering this woman's history and political connections. If this is indeed a false accusation, she should be prosecuted. It would put a stop to further accusation mayhem.
OTOH, he may be confident enough in his own above-board behavior to deem an investigation unnecessary. Realistically though, most of America doesn't know Herman as well as he knows himself. So false or otherwise, this woman will negatively affect his current ascendancy.
If I'll wrong and there is only one ruchim in the Chicago suburbs it appears he was married with at least one child in 2009
Unless there is more than one Mitch Ruchim in the Chicago area, this Mitch seems to have been married when he is claimed to have fathered Bialek's son:

Since the press is now actively hunting women from peoples past, here is one for them to find:
"There was a woman in New York that I loved," he tells Auma. "She was white. She had dark hair, and specks of green in her eyes. Her voice sounded like a wind chime." Obama continues, "We saw each other for almost a year. On the weekends, mostly. Sometimes in her apartment, sometimes in mine. You know how you can fall into your own private world?Just two people, hidden and warm. Your own language. Your own customs. That's how it was."
Maybe Allred will represent her, since she seems to be afraid to come forward on her own.
Has anyone claimed to be Obama's lover of an entire year?
zabasearch and intellius are good for quick checks but not perfect..It appears that there is one Mitchell B Ruchim in the northern Chicago suburbs who has moved several times.. He is related to Cindy and Mitch b\ per intellius. In 2009 according to the bearsportal story he and Cindi had a son, Drew in first grade. Janet Lee Ruchim
Heather L Ruchim

Well everyone I talked to said he could not vote absentee today. The deadline was Friday. By everyone, I mean poll workers, BOE administrators, SOS office manager, election law legislators etc.
There was a provision that was slipped into a house bill late in October. The SOS website had not even been updated yet. (Since I complained it is now.)
Any absentee votes had to be postmarked by Friday and returned to the BOE by Sat noon. Of course, if you had changes to your voter registration you could vote with a provisional ballot. That was okay. My husband that has been a registered voter since he was eighteen could not vote.

"On June 21, I had six hours of surgery for renal cell cancer. At age 79, I’m devoting my remaining time and energy to the vital issue of climate chaos and dedicating this piece to Luc, my first grandchild, who was born on Aug. 31 as an innocent, unaware member of what researcher and writer Mark Hertsgaard calls “Generation Hot” — “the two billion young people worldwide who will spend the rest of their lives coping with mounting climate disruption.”
Since the First Industrial Revolution began in Britain in the 1730s and the Second Industrial Revolution began in the U.S. in the 1860s, global atmospheric CO2 has exponentially increased from a stable level of about 280 parts per million (ppm) to a record 394.97 ppm in May 2011.
Meanwhile, world population has exponentially increased from about 730 million to 7 billion in 2011 and is projected to top 9 billion by 2050. Population stabilization is an essential condition for climate stabilization. Yet for religious, cultural, political or other reasons, the massive increase in world population is often downplayed or ignored as a major component of human-induced (anthropogenic) global warming.
You missed the cue. It's now called 'climate chaos' because the globe ain't warming. The cost of the green bubble from the carbon misjudgment, compounded through the generations, has already significantly diminished the lives of everyone's descendants.
So enough with the guilt trips. A warmer world is better than a colder world, and there is enough energy from the sun reaching the earth to sustain many magnitudes more of all life, not just human.
=====================
She said she's a registered republican. According to Ill records (a) she is not a registered voter and (b) Ill doesn't list party affiliation on registrations.
The equation goes like this. If you take the population of Manhattan and calculated the density per square mile, and take that number and apply it to an area the size of Texas, the population of the entire earth would fit within those borders. That leaves the rest of the earth human free.
TK - the NYC babe was a fantasy of Billy the Bomber's imagination.
Sorry,I've mentioned this several times, but it was *not* from a work of fiction. A Chicago news magazine had a story, since scrubbed from the internet, about Barry's "non-African-American" girlfriend with whom he lived in Chicago until he left for Harvard. The article made it clear that the relationship was ending. The history of that apartment must be somewhere unless that, too, was part of Alxerod's monumental work to get Barry's life story purged of any and all warts.
TK, if my memory is correct Jack Cashill pretty well fingers that woman as a fictional creature modeled after a gal Ayers used to go out with; she's now dead. Obama wanted to inject a white woman into his past so he made her up.
But when they speak privately, it is often a different story.
“Most people view it as a ragtag group looking for sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll,” said one top hedge fund manager.
“It’s not a middle-class uprising,” adds another veteran bank executive. “It’s fringe groups. It’s people who have the time to do this.”
As the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations have grown and spread to other cities, an open question is: Do the bankers get it? Their different worldview speaks volumes about the wide chasms that have opened over who is to blame for the continuing economic malaise and what is best for the country.
Some on Wall Street viewed the protesters with disdain, and a degree of caution, as hundreds marched through the financial district on Friday. Others say they feel their pain, but are befuddled about what they are supposed to do to ease it. A few even feel personally attacked, and say the Occupy Wall Street protesters who have been in Zuccotti Park for weeks are just bitter about their own economic fate and looking for an easy target. If anything, they say, people should show some gratitude.
“Who do you think pays the taxes?” said one longtime money manager. “Financial services are one of the last things we do in this country and do it well. Let’s embrace it. If you want to keep having jobs outsourced, keep attacking financial services. This is just disgruntled people
"A previously unreported study out of the Oklahoma Geological Survey has found that hydraulic fracturing may have triggered a swarm of small earthquakes earlier this year in Oklahoma. The .quakes, which struck on Jan. 18 in a rural area near Elmore City, peaked at magnitude 2.8 and caused no deaths or property damage.
So the "Registered Republican" is neither Registered nor a Republican? WTF cant ALLREDallthetime get a few things lined up before trotting her out there. Has anyone in the Tea Party ever seen here around either?
I'm waiting for ace of greenballs to claim Cain sexually harassed him. Or made him feel uncomfortable in an anybody-but-Mitt kind of way. OT note: We are off at the crack of dawn for three nights in the Ahwahnee at Yosemite. Tomorrow night there is a San Diego sneak preview of Act of Valor. My Hollywood niece is the president for promotion at Relativity Studio, which produced it. She has put three of my retired SEAL buddies on the guest list, so at next Wednesday's Island Beer Club meeting I will get a full debriefing and will report to JOM.
When Sharon Bialek said that he was with Herman Cain at the Chicago TEA Party event with Herman Cain I reached out to one of the key voices and leaders of the Chicago TEA Party C. Steven Tucker and he says “I did not recognize her Chuck and I was there all weekend.”
I have been reaching out to my other friends in the Chicago TEA Party and so far no one recognizes her. Gloria Allred portrayed Bialek as a TEA Party Republican. Having seen her picture Bialek is not someone who goes unnoticed easily.
Tucker comments further:
I have spoken at Tea Party events ALL OVER Chicagoland including TeaCon Midwest 2011 where Gloria Allred says her client “confronted” Herman Cain. I have never seen nor have I ever even heard of a Sharon Bialek.
I believe the ground rules were no questions from the press, DoT. Tomorrow she goes on the morning shows to fill more low information voters with even more crap.
Labor is poised for a big victory in Ohio Tuesday. PPP's final poll on Issue 2 finds 59% of voters plan to reject Senate Bill 5, with only 36% voting for approval.
What might be most remarkable about the 23 point margin in this poll is that it's exactly identical to what we found the first time we polled on this issue all the way back in March. Voters were furious then and that anger has continued all the way to November.
"Just to be clear, it is impossible to scrub the Internet."
Then how do things disappear, MarkO? I would love to know what happened to the article I found early in the last presidential campaign when I researched everything I could find about Obama. I did not make a hard copy and have never again been unable to bring it up in a search. It was a local Chicago article about the local boy working his way to glory.
No, you don't Captain, because you do addresss
substance, how many times does he have to be
pwned, 'let me count the ways' there is a little slippage as Hollowpoint, isn't willing
to go on the burn Cain train, as he was about Sarah.
"For the jackass" Ahem...ROASTED Jackass, Madam...
"But there's a reason people ask if the quakes are man-made rather than from the shifting of the Earth's crusts.
In the past, earthquakes have been linked to energy exploration and production, including from injections of enormous amounts of drilling wastewater or injections of water for geothermal power, experts said. They point to recent earthquakes in the magnitude 3 and 4 range — not big enough to cause much damage, but big enough to be felt — in Arkansas, Texas, California, England, Germany and Switzerland. And back in the 1960s, two Denver quakes in the 5.0 range were traced to deep injection of wastewater.
Still, scientists would like to know if human activity can trigger a larger event. The National Academy of Sciences is studying the seismic effects of energy drilling and mining and will issue a report next spring.
"This is an area of active research," said Rowena Lohman, a Cornell University seismologist. "We're all concerned about this."
Just to be clear, rse and MarkO, I have the tenacity of a terrier crossed with a gila monster.
Are you saying everything is *still* out there waiting for me to find it again? The Way-back-machine still has everything? Really? Nothing has disappeared from the intertubes?
Frau, several of the lobbyists Obama "did not hire" into the White House staff were from Google. Try their competitors. (the big G is routinely accused of manipulating search results).
I was using Google Images and specifically commenting on Google images. . I had earlier gone to Google images as I wanted to see what this West Naze guy looked like. I clicked, and there he was.
Then, Marko's "Can't scrub the Internet" comment and the mention of her attending Tea Party;s prompted me to see what pix would come up if I did the same by googled Sharon Bialek in Google images. Thats here.
Was surprised that immediately it is Herman Cain photos, the second one even being titled "Sex Offender." But Sharon Bialek never turns up.
Actually, that's what we wanted to do. Unfortunately, the bearers, porters and cooks who were to set up and maintain our campsite, and carry us about in our sedan chairs, are all on strike and up occupying Oakland. So we have settled for the Presidential Cottage, where we expect to tip handsomely as usual.
We are off at the crack of dawn for three nights in the Ahwahnee at Yosemite.
Lucky you! I love the Ahwahnee. Should be fabulous this time of year, massive fire in the huge stone fireplace - a perfect place to sip perfect martini's and look out the windows at fall colors or an early snow flurry. Don't forget to wave to me as you pass by, DoT!
I've read that there were disturbances in Switzerland from geothermal drilling which ***may*** be different from fracking. I'll wait for Kim to issue links, thank you.
Your link on a previous thread to Matt Ridley's speech on Global Warming PseudoScience really was excellent, so if anyone didn't have a chance to read it, here it is again:
Frau,
I can sometimes find old articles by doing a site search at Free Republic. Freepers are great at capturing articles.
You can also do it at any site if you remember where you first saw it...

DoT, it's a shame you will have to do with the second-best while at Yosemite. ::chortle::
I'm reminded of a SF story where one character chose to await the destruction of the earth in Yosemite.
it reads like a hollywood script ... an obvious lie ...

Well everyone I talked to said he could not vote absentee today. The deadline was Friday. By everyone, I mean poll workers, BOE administrators, SOS office manager, election law legislators etc.
There was a provision that was slipped into a house bill late in October. The SOS website had not even been updated yet. (Since I complained it is now.)
Any absentee votes had to be postmarked by Friday and returned to the BOE by Sat noon. Of course, if you had changes to your voter registration you could vote with a provisional ballot. That was okay. My husband that has been a registered voter since he was eighteen could not vote.
Sorry/Rant off :) Let's hope this is not close.

Whilst y'all titillate the gossip mongers, I'll ask a question....
http://consortiumnews.com/2011/11/07/looming-crisis-of-climate-chaos/
By Richard Lee Dechert

I'm sure you've done way more research, than the SRM, which just take the press releasee as if it were holy writ,
Posted by: narciso | November 07, 2011 at 06:38 PM
I would have expected the CO2 to be at least 2800 parts per million in 2011.
Bf, have you seen the Texas/Manhattan population density equation?

""Bf, have you seen the Texas/Manhattan population density equation?"
I'll buy a vowel...
Posted by: Benjamin Franklin | November 07, 2011 at 06:46 PM
You missed the cue. It's now called 'climate chaos' because the globe ain't warming. The cost of the green bubble from the carbon misjudgment, compounded through the generations, has already significantly diminished the lives of everyone's descendants.
So enough with the guilt trips. A warmer world is better than a colder world, and there is enough energy from the sun reaching the earth to sustain many magnitudes more of all life, not just human.

Disgruntled employees, just like the Cain accusers...
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/15/business/in-private-conversation-wall-street-is-more-cri
"Publicly, bankers say they understand the anger at Wall Street — but believe they are misunderstood by the protesters camped on their doorstep.
This is just disgruntled people

by Political Arena Editor Chuck Norton

SB 5 headed for big defeat
Labor is poised for a big victory in Ohio Tuesday. PPP's final poll on Issue 2 finds 59% of voters plan to reject Senate Bill 5, with only 36% voting for approval.
What might be most remarkable about the 23 point margin in this poll is that it's exactly identical to what we found the first time we polled on this issue all the way back in March. Voters were furious then and that anger has continued all the way to November.
