Team Obama projects a consistent story on their pledge not to raise taxes for those earning les than 250,000 - the ObamaCare mandate is, or maybe isn't, or maybe is a tax.

When the President released his budget...why didn't a single reporter ask a Obama budget person the BIG question????
HOW MUCH LEEE IS BUFFETTS SECRETARY GOING TO HAVE TO PAY?
She was at the State of the Union, every all said her taxes were too high, too burdensome. So what is her new LOWER tax rate?? What is in the budget that HELPS her?
They didn't ask because the answer is she is still going to pay the same or more likely MORE.
She is supposed to be happy not that her burden is less, but they are going to stick it to her boss....that is what is suposed to make her life better, nowing Buffetts having to find new 'loopholes' to avoid taxes.

Good article at Am. Thinker - The Rising Fever of Despotism
"The United States now suffers the fever of despotism, in great part, because Congress has relentlessly abrogated its sworn Constitutional duty. Article One, Section One of the Constitution informs us:
"All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."
Nowhere in the Constitution do we find that Executive branch appointees, such as those comfortably ensconced at HHS, EPA, or Treasury may write laws that the people are expected to obey."
Like Mark Steyn wrote - ""As Philip Klein pointed out in the American Spectator two years ago, the Obamacare bill contained 700 references to the secretary “shall,” another 200 to the secretary “may,” and 139 to the secretary “determines.” So the secretary may and shall determine pretty much anything she wants..."
If these Czars & appointees are gonna write our laws (or have lib. flotsam write them) , why even have Senators & Representatives?

Reporter: "Mr. President, could you please tell us why your subordinates are directly contradicting each other on whether the ObamaCare penalty is, or is not, actually a tax?"
Obama: "Well, that's a very interesting question and I......HEY LOOK, A BIRD!!!"

I'm with you Janet.
A little more of this sad capitulation and pretty soon it's the Potemkin Village cosmetics of the "Independent Republican Senate" under Augustus Caesar.
