Dave (in MA)

All those featureless young people being led by adults in singing the praises of their chosen one, mmm, mmm, mmm.

Jack is Back!

It could have been worse - they could have been shouting USA, USA. I mean isn't that what a bunch of clean cut white kids outside of DC are known to do?

Chris Mathews parents must be proud.

Ignatz

--...They all are exactly in unison.--

Everybody knows only black people have rhythm, right Chrissy?

Jane

HAs Chris Matthew's brother gone to jail yet? Another reason for his parents to be proud.

BumperStickerist

featureless?

so, young people look all the same to Chris Matthews?

good to know.

matt

speaking of aliens and androids, I just saw a blog pience on Prof. Bell's movie that aired on HBO.

"Space Traders" is probably one of the most racialist programs ever to air on national TV. I don't believe "Birth of a Nation" ever made it.

"Undercover Brother" pretty well summed up some of the subsets of the African-American conspiracy theorists, but Space Traders shows the the philosophical and intellectual moonbattery that underpins this bullshit.

That this crazy bast*rd was allowed to foist this crap at Harvard really begins to allow us to understand how dramatically standards of scholarship have fallen.

That our current president was a starry eyed student of this clown helps define who he is ever more precisely. Perhaps that was Andrew Breitbart's insight.

James D.

Chris Matthews is an embarassment to his species...whichever one it actually is.

BB Key

They are featureless because they do not have Afro's....send Chrissy to the Norks

matt

Interesting to see that there's a MSM narrative now out there of how the Breitbart video fell flat.

In addition, Yahoo had a headline that Rush had refused advertising from AshleyMadison.com.

The sleaze just continues at an ever faster pace.

bgates

"Space Traders" is probably one of the most racialist programs ever to air on national TV.

I tried reading the story. I couldn't get past the second page. "Undercover Brother" meets "V".

The answer is very, just in case your wondering;

Video of "Space Traders" here.

TM says: " Unless - here is a gloomy thought - Barack is raising kids who don't care if people they disagree with are attacked. Hard to imagine." Well, they learned that watching their father, and their mother drilled it into them-- every day.

Clarice

what about a call to the kid in K.C. set on fire because he was white by classmates spurred to hatred by a teacher no doubt influenced by the critical race carp peddled by Obama's friends esp. Derreck Bell?

And now a word about International Woman's Day ; http://www.michellesmirror.com/2012/03/its-only-24-hours-but-happy.html

Jack is Back!

Here is another indication that the Obama 2012 campaign must be falling way short of their funding level.

Thanks to Caro, Frau, JoanD, AliceH and a cast of thousands -- the Walker recall petition database is now online in searchable form. Note: this site is very busy today and response time is slow (to include timing out). I heard on the radio that the group is plugging in donated servers to add capacity, but they probably need bandwidth as well and that takes time. Best bet is to bookmark and check back in the wee hours.

"Undercover Brother" meets "V".

Heh. But remember, this is the genre that gave us:

It's a cookbook!
and,
Soylent green is people!
And, somehow, still can't make a decent version of Starship Troopers [grumble].

matt

aw, c'mon Cecil, that female trooper that adored Johnny Rico was hawt!

To gain a greater understanding of the high level of discourse within the Ivy league, the LUN is priceless.

Some of the names these people call each other are simply jaw dropping. X rated for those with sensitive ears.

Thomas Collins

Remember the song "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes"? Well, I guess we need a remake titled "The DNA Testing Kit Has Found a Thousand Strands". See LUN.

Jack is Back!

A picture of that racist Joel Pollack at his wedding in Capetown, South Africa, where as everyone knows is a country with a racist past.

Derrick Bell would be so proud.

Thomas Collins

And LUN for the low tech original.

centralcal

Jack your link is to this thread not the Pollack wedding.

daddy

Henry,

Can I bother you to please make sure that your link above to the Walker Recall data is the proper link. I get a blank page, but headed by the words saying justoneminute.

daddy

I thought the Breitbart video release was underwhelming, but the reactions to it of Soledad and the CNN'ers was wonderful to watch. Marvelous job by Joel Pollack at keeping his cool and his focus while under fire.

narciso

An interesting take on the subject;

http://allergic2bull.blogspot.com/2012/03/i-read-space-traders-by-derrick-bell-so.html#more

Porchlight

daddy,

The whole point of the Breitbart video was to get the MSM wee-weed up and defensive about what they hid from voters in 2008.

Now they are all scrambling to figure out what "critical race theory" means and sweat while they wonder what the Breitbart people are going to release next.

centralcal

narciso, that link is an absolute hoot! Good grief, Prof. Bell may well be a radical, but he is also a nincompoop. Ann Althouse is swooning on her own blog about what a respected professor he is, too. Makes me see Althouse in an altogether different light. No wonder she voted for Obama in the past and will do so again.

daddy

Well Porch if that was the goal, Mission Accomplished.

Soledad came across as unhinged and babbling, and the pompous white ass on her panel was as steaming a pile of smugness as I've ever seen. Pollack was great.

If folks are just tuning in, this is the video we are talking about: THE VETTING: CNN IMPLODES OVER BREITBART'S OBAMA/BELL VIDEO

Trevor Loudon has a youtube up claiming Bell and Ayers were good friends.

Chubby

daddy,

I just heard Josh interviewed on Hannity. He said that Soledad was reading about Critical Race Theory from Wikipedia LOL

and believe you me, they are pushing hard on the selective outrage hypocrisy thing , and plan to keep at it

Porchlight

Althouse can shove it. I'd never go there if it wasn't for our JOM commenters who do such a good job tweaking her.

I expect her to vote for Obama again and if she admits it, she'll lose a lot of her readership. Many of these people are only there because she made a reputation for herself as a liberal who was open to reason.

daddy

"...Soledad was reading about Critical Race Theory from Wikipedia LOL"

That's Beautiful Chubby:) Ha!

daddy

And thanks earlier folks for telling me that Hannity and others were pounding the White House's "Recall Rush from AFN" effort.

I am over here so I missed that. Guess you could tell I was angry:)

Jack is Back!

CC and all:

Sorry about that at my 4:11.

Here is the pic I was referncing of Joel and Julia's wedding in Capetown at the Leeuwenhof (Lion's Head).

Whatever happen to basic research? I guess CNN is so bankrupt they can't even find computer literate interns to determine whether a guy I am going to infer is racist is by his matrimonial vows probably not! Geeez.

Uncle BigBad

Help
Whenever I try to log-in to Breitbart.com I'm taken to a log-in screen for Sitecore. I googled it and didn't find any helpful info about the site, except it's something about advertising.

What is it? Do I need to be afraid? Is it something Breitbart has put up for security reasons?

Someone on this board will know.

Chubby

oops, "Joel", not Josh

Ignatz

--narciso, that link is an absolute hoot!--

Yes, but be warned if you click on the Conan video you'll have that creepy guy singing "In The Year 2000" like a castrati soprano stuck in your head.

Uncle BigBad

I enjoyed the Soledad O'brien meltdown immensely. It tells us more than the Bell video itself.

henry

Daddy, thanks for pointing that out. Try again: searchable recall names db.

henry

Plus good news, WI adds 15,700 jobs in private sector. One more recall talking point down the drain.

daddy

Narciso,

And I thought the latest episodes of Futurama were bad...

Research needs to begin now on tying together Louis Farrakhan and Derrick Bell.

Farrakhan told us he had a vision of being abducted by The Mothership when he was in Tepotzlin, Mexico on Sept 17th, 1985.

Wonder if he passed on that info to his admirer, the great Harvard Law Prof Derrick Bell?

narciso

She's a Credentialed Moron, all is well;

'Brien's parents married in 1958 in Washington, D.C. Her father Edward, an Australian (from Toowoomba, Queensland)[5] of Irish descent, was a mechanical engineering professor.[6] Her mother, Estella, who is Afro-Cuban, was a French and English teacher.[6] O'Brien is the fifth of six children, who all graduated from Harvard College; O'Brien attended Harvard from 1984 to 1988, but did not obtain a degree until she returned in 2000.[7] Her siblings are law professor Maria (born 1961); corporate lawyer Cecilia (born 1962), businessman Tony (born 1963) - who heads a documents company;[5] eye surgeon Estela (born 1964); and anesthesiologist Orestes (born 1967).[6

Clarice

What racial box do you suppose the O'Brien clan checked on their college admission forms?

narciso

Facts have a way of unattaching themselves to her, memes on the other hand;

O'Brien drew criticism from FactCheck.org on September 8, 2008, for falsely asserting, during an interview with a McCain campaign spokesperson, that vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, as Governor of Alaska, had slashed the special education budget by 62%,[14][15] when, in fact, she had increased it.[16][17][18] O'Brien was also criticized for these claims by other sources,[19][20][21][22][23] including the McCain/Palin campaign.[24]

daddy

Clarice,

Probably Black, until the Alien's came to take them to Mars. Then they probably used whiteout.

Clarice

From PJMedia:

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise (to quote an old TV show):

Health and Human Services Sec. Kathleen Sebelius appeared flummoxed by questioning from Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) at a hearing on the new health care law Wednesday.

Johnson challenged Sebelius over a number of the Obama administration’s claims about the new health care law, namely that it will reduce the deficit and allow individuals to keep their current healthcare plans.

On several occasions, Sebelius professed to have “no idea” what Johnson was talking about.

I’m sure you believe that she has no clue about things like deficit reduction:

JOHNSON: Right. So, the original estimate for deficit reduction–

SEBELIUS: I’m assuming–

JOHNSON: The original estimate for deficit reduction in the first 10 years was $143 billion, correct?

SEBELIUS: Yes–

JOHNSON: So now we, we’ve reduced that $143 billion by $86 billion – by not getting revenue from the CLASS Act – and now $111 billion because we’ve increased the mandatory costs of the exchanges, correct?

SEBELIUS: I’m assuming the numbers are correct. I’m sorry I don’t have them.

And she doesn’t know what Obama promised:

[JOHNSON:] It’s also true, that President Obama very famously said, ‘if you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor.’ Period. ‘If you like your healthcare plan, you will be able to keep your healthcare plan.’ Period. No one will take it away, no matter what. Now, we’ve granted quite a few waivers – about 1,200 to 1,700 waivers – on about 4 million Americans, correct?

SEBELIUS: I’ve no idea what waivers you’re talking about or–

And she doesn’t even know about the waivers her own department is issuing!

JOHNSON: Well, those are waivers–

SEBELIUS: On doctors and health plans, is that…I–

JOHNSON: Just waivers from having to implement portions of the healthcare law that probably would have allowed those – or forced those workers – off their employer-sponsored care.

SEBELIUS: Again, I’d be happy to answer these questions, but I have no idea what waivers you’re talking about–

daddy

C'mon, Narciso,

She was probably relying on Wikipedia.

We shall not speak of Futurama post 2009 daddy, it's like that Dallas season, 1984-85,
that never happened,

Extraneus

Lots of good links at Drudge, but this one seems deserving of a re-link here:

Report: Spitzer Tipped Off Escort Madam to Investigation

Davis has taken and passed a lie detector test regarding her conversation with Wong in which Wong declared that Spitzer had given Gristina the warning. The New York Daily News reported the incident but failed to identify Spitzer, claiming only that a 'high-level official" had tipped off Gristina.

[snip]

"Eliot Spitzer says these assertions are totally untrue and the claim that he violated an ongoing investigation is outrageous."

Ext,

I can't say. We came over Russia yesterday just like normal, but we didn't get any further north than about 66 degree's, and I can't find any specific info on our flights near or over the poles.

It was a beautiful borealis tho' the night before I left, which was very surprising ti me as we had such a bight moon out and glow from the city lights down below us. Really was spectacular.

Report: Spitzer Tipped Off Escort Madam to Investigation

Maybe they could publish the little black book this time. With the DC Madame story ABC never released them.
"Ultimately, ABC News, after going through what was described as "46 lb" [21 kg] of phone records, decided that none of the potential clients[13] was sufficiently "newsworthy" to bother mentioning.[14]"
...But Ambassador Randall L. Tobias of the State Department & Senator David Vitter (R-LA) had their names come out. The Madame, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, committed suicide.

Who trusts ABC news to pick what is newsworthy?

Extraneus,

Per Gallup, Clinton was at 64% "success" at this point in 1996. Obama is at 44%.
