Very perceptive Alice.
Spent many years pulling the moron's weight in our business and then after making the psycho enough to retire on, when I asked to simply divide the business so we could go our separate ways he forced a series of pointless lawsuits, every one of which he's lost but which in the meantime have tied our assets up for ten years and cost us millions of dollars.
We're finally at the point of being able to sue him to get some or perhaps all of it back. Time will tell.
I just posted a link and an excerpt on the Headlines thread from a Reuters story that gives a much fuller and more positive picture of Zimmerman. It also discusses the "elephant in the room" with a black neighbor - burglaries committed by black young men that had frightened the neighborhood.
Maybe if he had gone to business school he would have seen that circle of stuff you know, circle of stuff you know you don't know, and circle of stuff you don't know you don't know. Then at least he would have realized that last category existed.
The speech was worth at least a golf clap and does not indicate much input from from the Schmidt for brains that sank My Friends.
Heh.
Incidentally it was Palin who suggested that a longer primary would test the frontrunner and ensure he brings his best game to the general. Is Romney improving? I hope so.
“I think I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Obama told him. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”
What kind of horses ass brags like that to begin with, besides a narcissist, let alone delivers a kick to the nuts like that to anyone who works for him?
He's ignorant and utterly without class.
You might recall that Mitt Romney’s aide Eric Fehrnstrom notoriously likened the change from primary battle to general election to shaking an Etch-a-Sketch. The Mitt Romney who showed up last night to deliver the best speech of his life so far might well have been the result of a good shake.
c-c's Zimmerman Trot Back by Reuters. Please note that the hagiography of St. Trayvon of Sanford was discontinued upon discovery of NO_LIMIT. The current Reuter's piece has the fluff which curiously never appeared after NO_LIMIT showed up.
I confess, I did not get the Big Lebowski, I don't believe you get the clap from being peed on by a lemur, or whatever, and I don't believe that Obama regularly reads anything, except what his sycophants hand him that they think will make him happy. And, yes, Clarice, Obama's "cool" act has grown extremely long in the tooth, and he is not cool.
Wish we had a real President like the one who ordered pants big enough for his nuts and his bunghole.
The end of the Reuters story is lame. However, most people will never read that far. Unlike with most MSM stories, the walkback occurs toward the beginning.
These are the baby steps. Reuters should have done this level of research a month ago, but they should still be commended.
This morning a nice Mexican American family came to visit the project where I work in Punta Mita (near Vallarta)
Mom and Dad born in Mexico, emigrated to USA 20 year ago, 2 daughters 17 and 19. I never bring up politics but asked the daughter what she is studying and she said that she would finish her 2nd year and then sigh up for Air Force, beacause there are no jobs because of Obama. Dad piped in that Obamacare is big pain for his buasiness and hopes it gets repealed.
I decided to press my luck and asked if she had heard about the Trayvon case. Yes she had and replied ¨They are just trying to pull that card again¨ and said most of her latino friends were pissed off the media tried to paint Jorge as a white guy.
And my last Romney post. This from CBS, note the remark that Romney is one of the five smartest people known to one insider. Did I mention this comes from CBS.
I think Reuters ended "lamely" because everyone is a little nervous now. Dershowitz saying Corey should be looking into hiring legal counsel, etc., has completely toppled over the narrative cart.
“I think I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Obama told him. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”
I think this says more about the low quality and IQs of his advisers than it does about Obama's abilities.
And Mr. Prez, I'm a housebound old lady out in the middle of nowhereland and I know more than your advisers and you by a factor of at least 50 or higher. Sheesh!
My take isn't much different than GrannyJan's. The piece definitely has a sympathetic slant and it's definitely a trot back from from the ABC/NBC 'brute hunting down an innocent' reportage instigated by Crump/Gutman in order to stir up the Black Klan. The author shoved in "disregarded police advice against pursuing Martin", either out of stupidity or as a sop to the Kleagles but, in general, the piece was a fluff thumbsucker written as contrameme.
After a few years here, I've lost all confidence on my ability to place commas correctly.
I doubt they could get the clap from kaola urine, but they probably could get non-gonorrheal urethitis, which has some of the same symptoms. But more likely, they shared a groupie with it.
I wish that Obama quote could get more play in this campaign.
But will Romney be immune and not get sucked in to making a fool of himself on Letterman, Leno, et.al. They can't help themselves, not if they have the likes of Schmidt (God forbid) advising him.

"Part of the reason the GOP is in such sad shape"
So bad that they've been leading the Dems in the Generic Congressional Ballot for two solid years.

daddy,
Now you know why social security is called "The third rail of politics":) No politician wants that fate.

C'mon, DoT. Can't you appreciate his concern for the GOP. His hands are practically soaking in it.

I just posted a link and an excerpt on the Headlines thread from a Reuters story that gives a much fuller and more positive picture of Zimmerman. It also discusses the "elephant in the room" with a black neighbor - burglaries committed by black young men that had frightened the neighborhood.

His quote about knowing more than most experts
Maybe if he had gone to business school he would have seen that circle of stuff you know, circle of stuff you know you don't know, and circle of stuff you don't know you don't know. Then at least he would have realized that last category existed.

This ad is so powerful. Who said that Catholics won't fight back? Whether you are Catholic or not, I think you will agree that this is a terrific ad.

The speech was worth at least a golf clap and does not indicate much input from from the Schmidt for brains that sank My Friends.
Heh.
Incidentally it was Palin who suggested that a longer primary would test the frontrunner and ensure he brings his best game to the general. Is Romney improving? I hope so.

Why did BOTH Obama and his UGLY WIFE have to turn in their LAW LICENSES??
Discuss.

Here's the quote;
What kind of horses ass brags like that to begin with, besides a narcissist, let alone delivers a kick to the nuts like that to anyone who works for him?
He's ignorant and utterly without class.

Not that we get to choose, but I can attest that bipolar relatives are much much more affordable, and not as litigious - thank goodness.

I don't think he's capable of such a realization, Lea. He's a leftist. Remember how much carp Rumsfeld took for "unknown unknowns."

O/T but Reuter's does an excellent and somewhat sympathetic, at least until the end, account of Zimmerman's background leading up to the shooting. We find out he's white, black and hispanic and a do-gooder at that.

c-c's Zimmerman Trot Back by Reuters. Please note that the hagiography of St. Trayvon of Sanford was discontinued upon discovery of NO_LIMIT. The current Reuter's piece has the fluff which curiously never appeared after NO_LIMIT showed up.

I'm not saying that Michelle Obama is a loser. I'm just wondering what LEGAL PROBLEM caused Michelle Obama to LOSER HER LAW LICENSE.
We can chat about Barry Mao Mao Obama losing his law license later.
Don't forget to VET!!

Posted by: peter | April 25, 2012 at 05:42 PM
Damn, Rick. Are you and GrannyJan reading the same article?
Posted by: Jack is Back! | April 25, 2012 at 05:43 PM
The end of the Reuters story is lame. However, most people will never read that far. Unlike with most MSM stories, the walkback occurs toward the beginning.
These are the baby steps. Reuters should have done this level of research a month ago, but they should still be commended.

Keep the faith

Just messin' with you, Ig. Doesn't take away from your cogent comments. (well, not too much...)

I think Reuters ended "lamely" because everyone is a little nervous now. Dershowitz saying Corey should be looking into hiring legal counsel, etc., has completely toppled over the narrative cart.
Posted by: centralcal | April 25, 2012 at 05:52 PM
“I think I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” Obama told him. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”
I think this says more about the low quality and IQs of his advisers than it does about Obama's abilities.
And Mr. Prez, I'm a housebound old lady out in the middle of nowhereland and I know more than your advisers and you by a factor of at least 50 or higher. Sheesh!
Posted by: Sara | April 25, 2012 at 05:55 PM
Romney is one of the five smartest people known to one insider.
Big deal. He's not teh smartest, is he? You know, like the one who "stepped down into the presidency"?
Posted by: lyle | April 25, 2012 at 05:56 PM
And Mr. Prez, I'm a housebound old lady out in the middle of nowhereland
I think you identified a subset of the public that means absolutely squat to this administration.
Posted by: lyle | April 25, 2012 at 05:58 PM
JiB,
My take isn't much different than GrannyJan's.
