Carried over to the pertinent thread.
For the full flavor of the WaPo correction realize this...
Mitt Romney Ohio spokesman Christopher Maloney thinks he’s caught President Obama in an embarrassing error — misspelling Ohio.
is the 'story' that the Ohio twit pic reporter reported the story as being the 'important' thing.
The correction says the paper thought the first photo (the one the Romney campaign tweeted about) was a photoshop.
So the correction is saying they thought Romney's campaign was photoshopping and posting the photoshopped pic.
Bias much?

Obama should make a toy gun with his right hand and hold it to his forehead. He'd probably decide to use his left hand, though, since first graders are taught to do that to tell L = Left.
Obama - not smarter than a first grader.

DoT... nope. The watches are on the left hand in both pictures. If it was flipped, it would appear on his right. Ditto the shirt pocket on the blue shirted guy to O's right. It's on the right breast in both pics.
The correction says the WaPo initially suggested the Romney campaign sent out a 'photoshopped' photo to make fun of the campaign. The R campaign actually posted another pic that was taken before the D'Oh squad figured out they spelled it wrong and went to take two (or three, four, five... come on there are what 16 combos of OHIO they were bound to get it right... eventually).

In case it wasn't clear, there are photos from multiple sources showing "OIHO" and Obama's watch is on the same wrist in all of them. So either they're all flipped or none of them are.
Since we're all chiming in, I write left-handed and do almost everything else right-handed. No longer wear a watch, but when I did it was on my left wrist.

The professors who created the model, Ken Bickers from CU-Boulder and Michael Berry from CU-Denver, say it correctly forecast every winner of the electoral since 1980.
I would safely predict that their model is flawed. The ability to create models that are 100% *historically* accurate is very far removed from creating models that are forward accurate. In fact, in something with as many variables as national elections (or the economy or err... climate) it is nearly impossible.
Not that this stops people from trying.
