Do you know how many of those oil engineers are immigrants? Legal immigration is a good thing, probably why most of us are here. Barry has shown himself to be pro-illegal immigration, with his amnesty by exec order. Yet you favor him because he'll tank the economy thereby redusing our fossil fuel usage (and exploration and innovation) and make the US so unattractive that even starving Africans won't want to come. Ok, got it.

“This is the latest triumph of politics over principle by the Obama administration,” Turley told The Daily Caller in a phone interview. “The position of the White House is rather transparent. It does not want to be seen as limiting free speech. This request was couched as a review.”

“The film was simply an act of free speech. The position of the United States should be clear. Violence was not caused by any film,” said Turley. “Free speech is not a characteristic of America. It defines being an American.”

Turley added that the administration has done “unprecedented harm” to principles of free speech.

Pat is pretty good. Better as a pundit than politician. One big problem I see is there are too many people behind the scenes in the republican party who are working to focus US policy on protecting Israel. No candidates who spoke to issues I think are important, limit FP entanglements, limit immigration, limit imports from China, were on the primary ballot.

As influential as the tea party was in 2010, it appears to have been marginalized or even shutout in the presidential primary.
