It is the new year and many folks have made fitness resolutions. But please, if you are a bit on in years check with your doctor before engaging in any unusual activity:
Man Dies Getting Lap Dances At El Paso Strip Club
EL PASO, Texas - El Paso County sheriff's officials said a 67-year-old man died at an El Paso County strip club Friday night.
The manager at the Red Parrot strip club said that the man, identified by sheriff's officials as Robert Gene White, was getting lap dances, but when it came time to pay the dancers, he was unresponsive.
Employees tried to perform CPR on White and when that didn't work they called emergency responders. White was transported to an area hospital and appears to have died from natural causes, according to sheriff's officials.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this wasn't "unusual activity" for this guy. Sometimes it's just your time to go.

Brent met his Waterloo back in the day when only CBS brought the NFL games. He did the pregame show and became insufferable (at least to me). NK, On Queen St (route 10). Think it has been closed for while now.
A lot of "gentlemens clubs" are barely disguised prostitution joints these days. Found a site that rates clubs and several comments indicate that dancers at the Red Parrot were in the habit of performing more than dances in the "lap" dance area.
(Interestingly they call it the 'Dirty Bird' in the local vernacular, which was the same name the Blue Parrot in Southington was known by.)
I kind of doubt the particulars of the managers story.

Georgia (who gave Alabama all they wanted in the SEC Championship), Texas A&M (who beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and schooled Oklahoma), Clemson, LSU, Oregon, hell, even Northwestern, Nebraska or Wisconsin, would wipe the floor with ND.
