With Turbo Tax Tim Geithner on the way out, Team Obama is casting about for a good diversity pick, to wit, diversity in the area of tax compliance. Rumored Commerce pick Penny Pritzker, a top Obama fund raiser, looks like a great choice.
They told Glenn that if he voted for Romney we'd have tax-dodging billionaires running the Cabinet. But I say, let's continue to have a Cabinet that looks like America!
You may want to cross out the Tax adjective and make scammer plural. Twould be the most accurate statement.
Government exists to enrich us and beggar our adversaries is probably an apt motto these days.
Off to read more of the governments create equality illusion.

At IP2P, we've addressed several articles about Patrick Fitzgerald's idea of truth.
However, the piece that may prove to be our most important chronicle is ahead. It involves a book titled Triple Cross.
U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald's attack on investigative reporter and novelist Peter Lance, and his book Triple Cross, was Fitzgerald's war against the truth.
The Department of Justice declared war against the First Amendment when it allowed Fitzgerald to conduct his war on Lance, and on the publisher of his book, from within the U.S. Attorneys Office in Chicago.
Read about Fitzgerald's Attempts to silence Lance here:...

“The United States military is not and should not be a global 911 service capable of arriving on the scene within minutes to every possible contingency around the world,” Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee.
“What difference, at this point, does it make?” Clinton asked during a testy exchange with one Republican.
The President was absent from the discussion and the scene. The firefight lasted 5 hours. The Sec State did nothing. The Pentagon is blaming State for not requesting assistance.

The election ads write themselves. Her political career is finished. No wonder Bammy wanted this covered up. If people knew he was gabbing on the phone with BiBi so he could send out his minions to woo the Jewish vote while Stevens was being dragged through the streets they would have dumped him in November. This is so horrendous. No surprise that re-election was far more important to him than the lives of 4 patriots. He should be impeached.Panetta is the only one willing to tell the truth. He must feel relieved not to be associated with this band of liars anymore.

Prepare to be outraged. I believe you're from Connecticut, no?
Lincoln Movie Factual Flaw In Slavery Vote:

Apparently back then they actually read the Bill before passing it, so that they knew what was in it. What a concept.

The United States military is not and should not be a global 911 service capable of arriving on the scene within minutes to every possible contingency around the world
If we were to rank the likelihoods of literally every emergency that could possibly arise anywhere on the surface of the earth, where on that list would Panetta put an attack
* on a US diplomatic outpost
* in the Middle East
* in a nation in which the US had assisted in the overthrow of an unfriendly dictator earlier in the year
* and which was embroiled in a civil war between the late dictator's faction and Islamists (both hostile to the US)
* given that the diplomatic outpost had been bombed earlier
* twice
* and the ambassador repeatedly communicated concerns over further attacks
* and the diplomatic outpost, the ambassador, and the CIA may have been involved in clandestine weapons transfers to other (nominally) anti-Islamist forces in the region
* and it was the anniversary of the most successful attack on America ever by an Islamist organization that had affiliates in the country and that attached great significance to important dates?

The corruption never stops: Interior Secretary nominee Sally Jewell received Obamacare waiver for REI
REI CEO Sally Jewell, President Obama’s nominee for Interior Secretary, received an Obamacare waiver in 2011 for her company’s health care coverage for 1,180 employees...
The controversial waivers were issued to select companies after Obama’s health care reform bill passed in 2008,..
Jewell participated in an Obama administration roundtable in 2009 to talk about the benefits of health care reform.
ObamaCare's such a great Program that she got a special waiver to avoid having to comply with it.

Speaking of sleezy, slimy corrupt moron cousins, I had the misfortune of running across drug-addled slut Kerry Kennedy on CNN last night consorting with Piers Morgan over how important it is to pass "gun control" legislation. She seemed genuinely drugged and robotic, but that's above average for a Kennedy.

Happy birthday, JiB, I was going to recommend the Tey book, about Richard 111,who seems to have gotten as raw a deal from Thomas More and the bard, as Machiavelli did for Caterina Sforza.

Hate to disagree with NK as a valued on line compatriot and friend but: I have been a member of REI since 1972.
I have bought all my backpacking, snow gear, camping, skiing and biking gear from them for years. They are the most complete, knowledgeable company in the world much less America on outdoor equipment, survival and sports enjoyment. No one does it better but a lot like to emulate them.
I have so many maps, books, tools, equipment, gadgets, etc. from them that if I added up all the cost it would be in the 10's of thousands. Anyone with an intertest in hiking, backpacking, camping, climbing, skiing, biking etc. has probably had some experience with REI.
So what their CEO is a Obamaite? So are a lot of business leaders and icons of invention like Jobs. Are we going to boycott Apple, Citi, GE, and Hyatt and live on Chicken sandwiches and doing model building?

Rereading my link above about TM's Connecticut Congressman upset about Spielberg's "Lincoln" Movie being inaccurate, I came across this quote from the Congressman and thought it comical:
“But in a movie based on significant real-life events — particularly a movie about a seminal moment in American history so closely associated with Doris Kearns Goodwin and her book, ‘Team of Rivals’ — accuracy is paramount.” Ha!
Watching O'Reilly just this instance, it looks like Rove has his white board out and is doing damage control.
