I would not know where to begin to look for TM's house, as I have not been able to discover who TM is, despite a couple of serious attempts this past year.

I see that Insty has linked to a new book re-opening the old conspiracy theory on whether Shakespeare wrote his plays or somebody else did.

I know there is:

---the 19th Century theory as to whether Jack The Ripper was a member of the Royal family,

---the 18th/17th Century theory as to whether Newton stole Calculus from Liebnitz or vice versa

---and the 16th/17th Century theory as to whether Kepler poisoned Tycho Brahe so that he could get his hands on Brahe's secret measurements of the orbits of Mars

But is there an older Conspiracy Theory still regularly revisited by our culture than who wrote Shakespeare?
