JiB-- that article about the NBC D*^%ks yucking it up about BODYMAN Reggie and Obummer makes me spitting mad. many of the Seal Team heroes are dead, having been KIA a few weeks later. Hilarious that they find Reggie at fault for telling the truth about their AWOL dreamboat after Thirteen Credits fluffed him so much with the fawning interview of the dumbass.

Andrew Breitbart and Adam Carolla both cited Prager as a guy that they regularly listened to in their pre-Conservative days who was fundamental in moving them from the Left to the Right, and he did it simply with logic and persuasive argument, not with bluster or gimmicks or vitriol. It is a real loss that we don't have him up here anymore, but thank goodness we did get Dennis Miller.

“What you should know today is the only reason why they’re going after the rodeo clowns and everything else is because they are freaked out you’re going to figure this out,” Beck said.
Correction...Circus College will offer a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Circus Arts (contemporary circus performance).
As a commenter said, imagine a major in clowning and a minor in stuffing people into really small cars.

Funny story about that. During the cruise the publisher reminded me of the year where everyone posed with a "Janewon" sign. There was a woman on the cruise named Cat, who was a liberal and accompanied her conservative mother. Anyway, Jack told me she was absolutely furious that Mark Steyn held that "Janewon" sign.
When I asked why she was furious he said: "Who cares, it was enough that she was furious."
just off the phone with an Egyptian friend. The MB has caches of heavy weapons, AK's etc stashed all over Cairo and I would imagine other cities.
There are Chechens and Pakistanis and Afghans being arrested. Over the past two days 56 soldiers and police have been killed and hundreds wounded. This stuff has not yet been reported.
The MB has @ 20% support and have lost a tremendous amount of the conservative vote and would not win today. They know this is their last and only chance for power.
Egypt is the linchpin of the Middle east, and Obama and his administration are deeply loathed. Not the American people, but the Admin.
They are seen as fickle, indecisive and highly incompetent and as having supported the MB and helping to oppress dissent with the MB. Our standing as a government is as low as it has ever been and that is saying something.
Al Sissi has a huge following and is seen as the savior of the country by the masses. he is also willing to stand up to the USA. He is also cooperating very closely with the Israelis.
The feeling from my friend and his family, who are deeply involved at the highest levels in the country is that it will get worse before it gets better, but that it will get better. No one wants an Islamist society but a small minority. We'll see.
They don't care whether Obamacare crashes and burns or even if it is partially defunded. The fact is the already messed up industry is now totally screwed (and screwed up) and as the Progs hoped all along, they will be happy to replace the 27,000++ pages of regs with the single payer system that was the objective anyway. They do not know which road to ruin will be followed, just that all roads go there now.
That;'s my notion, as well, I'm not surprised there are foreign elements among the insurgents,
however we know that not a few midlevel officers, like Zamour who was the mastermind of the Sadat plot, Seif Al Adel, among others are drawn to those radical elements,
Jane, it's in the back of my mind, and when the opportunity arises...
Matt, I think the MB will be crushed.
The washington Examiner informs that along with the Amish and Christian Scientists Muslims are also excluded from having to participate in Obamacare. As I see it, that leaves only the shnooks here picking up the tab.
This is a microcosm of what we are dealing with all the way to 2014 and 2016. There will be no let up and every little trickle of liberal irritant will be magnified 20X or more.
The only way to defeat this is to loudly say you are wrong and you are denying our rights to criticize. They will be relentless in blocking mine and your voice.
Just finished reading all the comments and I continue to marvel at the depth and scope of intelligence on this blog.
cathyf: You are insightful and informative always.
Jane and rse: You both have lovely radio voices and should have your own shows. You can and do educate others in a thoughtful and meaningful way.
NK and CH; You two guys are two of my favorites in that your enthusiasm and spunky comments always hit the mark.
clarice: Your contributions are thought provoking and most informative and yes I do believe this site could have some in the administration nervous.
Janet: Your Beck link made my day. He is so right in his assessment of Obama. he is not the leader in that photo, and because of laziness and again Jane is correct in her belief that he just doesn't know how to behave in any situation.
matt: You always hit the nail on the head and are spot-on wrt what thekey points of each situation are.
gmax: I enjoy your posts immensely.
You have all said things I believe as well and after spending Friday evening with very liberal friends ,it is nice to return to a place of reason and sanity.
Rocco:
thank you for the whoopie-pie recipe.
All the posters-trolls-excluded -offer great insights and helpful discussions
AB; Always great to hear your views.
Levin is afraid that the tag team from Hell, Gaylord Focker and Reporting for Doody, through either malign intent or sheer ineptitude, may be enough to align Egypt with the Rooskis again. I'm sure Rodham's four year bender may have had a major impact as well. Smart diplomacy FTL.
"The equanimity with which our current embarrassment of a President watches the possible disintegration of forty-years of work is stunning. He can barely be bothered to delay his tee time to issue some boilerplate blather about ending the state of emergency and beginning a "process of reconciliation." OK, back to the vacation. The current Egyptian government, yes, yes, unpleasant military types who probably never have been to Harvard, is in a battle for its life against the extremely unpleasant and murderous Muslim Brotherhood (MB)."
"It would be impossible to Photoshop Obama into any area he has not ever been in prior to the Photoshop."
I'm not sure what you mean by this, but if you're referring to my comment you've got it completely bass ackward. What I said was that to believe the SR picture was photoshopped you must also believe that Obama was NOT there at anytime during the raid. Because if he had been there he would have been photographed there, and there would be no need for photoshopping.
DoT, your theory makes no sense. If Obama was in and out of the room and missed the dramatic moment, a picture of him from before/after could have been photoshopped in.
'You ask for Miracles, Theo' I give you Jennifer Rubin;
Then the gift with a big red ribbon arrived in the form of Sarah Palin’s pronouncement that Christie has too much schtick – if winning a blue state overwhelmingly is schtick, perhaps the whole party needs more of it — and is a “big government” Republican. Where she gets the latter from I am not sure.
(Had a company photo taken that way. We were never all in the office at one time, so the pictures were taken in several pieces and shopped together later.)
"If Obama was in and out of the room and missed the dramatic moment, a picture of him from before/after could have been photoshopped in."
Who says the photo was taken at the dramatic moment (whatever that moment was)? It could have been taken at any moment in the long vigil. All we see is a group of people looking at somethig, presumably a screen.
Welcome to Saturday in Mars.

I see there is support for Jane filling in for Howie Carr when he is away. But that's backwards. Howie should be filling in for Jane when she is away!

just off the phone with an Egyptian friend.
We'll see.

Filthy Filner...the hits keep coming
it's getting to the point you can just point at any Democrat and laugh

They don't care whether Obamacare crashes and burns or even if it is partially defunded. The fact is the already messed up industry is now totally screwed (and screwed up) and as the Progs hoped all along, they will be happy to replace the 27,000++ pages of regs with the single payer system that was the objective anyway. They do not know which road to ruin will be followed, just that all roads go there now.
Thanks leaders.
Thanks SCOTUS.

That;'s my notion, as well, I'm not surprised there are foreign elements among the insurgents,
however we know that not a few midlevel officers, like Zamour who was the mastermind of the Sadat plot, Seif Al Adel, among others are drawn to those radical elements,

my first glance at the situation room photo made me wonder if he'd been photoshopped into it
Someone needs to photoshop the picture of Obama flinching at the martial arts move into the situation room photo.

Matt,
Thank you. That's fascinating.
TC have I told you lately that I love you!

Can anybody tell if the 59th annual stock show and rodeo at the at&t center in San Antonio in 2008 was the recipient of Public Funding?
If so, somebody needs to notify Harry Reid quick.
That's the Rodeo where the Black Rodeo Clown dressed up in the Hillary mask. Here's Leon's commercial advertising the Show and the importance of Rodeo Clowns.
I think within a few more hours of Internet sleuthing we might have video of the crowd urging on the Bull to knock the stuffing our of Hillary.
Posted by: daddy | August 15, 2013 at 08:24 PM
... to knock the stuffing our of Hillary.
Nope, would never happen. When Hillary goes down those cankles go down with her. They cannot be knocked loose nor pared away.

Daddy, did you ever find Cecil?

Jane, it's in the back of my mind, and when the opportunity arises...
Matt, I think the MB will be crushed.
The washington Examiner informs that along with the Amish and Christian Scientists Muslims are also excluded from having to participate in Obamacare. As I see it, that leaves only the shnooks here picking up the tab.
Posted by: Clarice | August 15, 2013 at 08:36 PM
What is with Obama and the Muslims? I hope someday we find out.

I will not be stopped.

Democrats so in a huff over rodeo clown joke...
Obama RCP at 43.8%
they fear the joke of a president is about to become a 3 1/2 year running comedy

You're pretty good yourself, maryrose.

Yes, that would be ironic twist, reversing the cycle the Saudis started 40 some years ago,

The Egyptians must now be out of food. The fighting will just speedup the starvaton.I don't expect this will go on much longer.

"If these two "leaders" of the West cannot bring themselves to support the defeat of the MB, they should at least shut up."

"The Egyptians must now be out of food."
S'OK. Their new buddy has plenty. Not to mention the ability to furnish and subsidize gas for the foreseeable future.

Ms. Zebest appears not to have considered this.

Obama is the person furthest away from the camera.
Posted by: 27_666_cathyf_hates_typepad_27 | August 15, 2013 at 10:28 PM
DoT, your theory makes no sense. If Obama was in and out of the room and missed the dramatic moment, a picture of him from before/after could have been photoshopped in.
Posted by: 27_666_cathyf_hates_typepad_27 | August 15, 2013 at 10:32 PM
If we could get Jane a national radio show on which she could read cathyf's post on Obamacare from the last thread there may be hope for the republic.

'You ask for Miracles, Theo' I give you Jennifer Rubin;

The best photoshops -- see Bert and Bin Laden -- are really really good. This picture looks funky enough that it might just be real.
