Jane

Benghazi cover-up has just been linked to the WH, including Jay Carney.

Just impeach the guy and get it over with.

jimmyk

Buffoon is too kind. There's a special place in hell for his ilk. A nasty and malevolent person.

narciso

It's a tell like Strangelove's salute, Brennan, Lurch, Secretary Poo (Hagel) all have it,

Clarice Feldman

Jane, what's the reference please?

Jane

Katherine Herridge just reported it on Fox. The emails came under a FOIA request (I forget by who.) I'll go to their websight.

NK(withnewsoftware)

Stangelove salute-- I assume that not only references Obummer's worldview, but the fact that all of these men are anti-semites and anti-Christian/West canon.

Jane

I can't find it yet Clarice. It was just on.

NK(withnewsoftware)

So Kerry apologizes and sez 'letz move on',... hmm... can that old bigot Sterling do the same? I mean in fairness, we should apply the same standards, right?

MarkO

Obama's just not that smart, however, Kerry is not even that smart.

NK(withnewsoftware)

MarkO-- heh.

Kerry was always a disgusting liar and moral coward, but he seemed passably intelligent back in the day. When the surgeons did the Mr. Potatohead deal on him, did they remove brain matter and that's why he's got that misshapen head?

MarkO

Please post a link when you have one.

peter

Does anyone here think Boehner has the set to start the impeachment process?

Sue

Peter,

No. But he could do a rousing rendition of republicans whining on how hard it was.

jimmyk

Not without the smoking gun on the JEF himself, and probably not even then.

MarkO

Boehner would need to sober up. Unlikely.

NK(withnewsoftware)

Impeachment will be started after the Mid-terms by the next Speaker. Boehner will be in Jack Daniels LobbyistLand by then.

Jane

I swear I didn't dream it, and I can't find a word about it.

bold mine. I guess the dismantling of NASA wasn't such a great idea.
well...NASA's working on Muslim self esteem now. Too bad about those astronauts.

"A few years after the ISS was finally completed, the short-sighted incompetents inside the Obama administration cancelled the only program we had for getting to our space station. Leaving us to rely on Russia to ferry our astronauts up to and back from our space station. This of course has made the US completely reliant on Russia to use and exploit the ISS."

Jane

It's on twitter - she reported it on "Happening Now" . No video up yet. IIRC it was the dictate to push the video and Carney was in on it.

Ronald McDonald

Kerry, of course tries to unring the apartheid bell. That doesn't mean the comparison is not spot-on.

Janet - the districts lie fallow, while the Capitol gorges itself

What NASA does now -

"Bolden created a firestorm after telling Al Jazeera last month that President Obama told him before he took the job that he wanted him to do three things: inspire children to learn math and science, expand international relationships and "perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering."

from 2010 - http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/07/06/nasa-official-walks-claim-muslim-outreach-foremost-mission/

lyle

Kerry should have been hung for sedition 40 years ago.

I can't find it either, Jane.

Obummer Flunky Ben Rhodes... Rhodes? where do I know that name?

Miss Marple

Ben Rhodes was a bigshot and a speechwriter in the Obama campaign. He is currently the deputy national security adviser for strategic communication.

Apparently his job is thinking up lame excuses for national crises.

narciso

He's the author of the Cairo speech, General Jones's minder,

Jane

Okay so these are the people involved. Gee who do they get their marching orders from?

Among the top administration PR personnel who received the Rhodes memo were White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, Deputy Press Secretary Joshua Earnest, then-White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer, then-White House Deputy Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, then-National Security Council Director of Communications Erin Pelton, Special Assistant to the Press Secretary Howli Ledbetter, and then-White House Senior Advisor and political strategist Davie Plouffe.

Carney certainly has been lying thru his teeth for years. And what preceded that memo?

NK(withnewsoftware)

MissM, who's ben's brother?

Jim Eagle

His brother (Rhodes) is President of CBS news.

narciso

A big honcho at CBS News,

Miss Marple

I like this part on one of the memos:

“Goal”: “To underscore that these protests are rooted in and Internet video, and not a broader failure or policy.”

Because, after all, Obama could never make a mistake and it's always all about HIM.

Bah.

NK(withnewsoftware)

why that would be this David Rhodes, president of CBS news. A conspiracy so vast.... anybody have TK cell number I need him to hook me up with Conspiracies R' Us: http://www.cbsnews.com/team/david-rhodes/

Miss Marple

NK, I forgot about that!

Conspiracies R Us, indeed!

NK(withnewsoftware)

"...and not a broader failure or policy.”

In impeachment Articles I would call this a Rhodes confession that Benghazi was in fact a complete failure and worse, so the WH stagemanaged lies to divert form the failure and the WH and its media teammates (and family kin) flat out lied to America 6 weeks before an election. The flagged draped coffins at Andrews AFB were just a few days after the whole Obummer crew lied there asses off, especially Cankles and that Rice imbecile. A complete disgrace.

jimmyk

Okay so these are the people involved.

What's the over-under on what page number the story appears in the NYT? I suppose it will make the WaPo somewhere. Or perhaps it will be whitewashed, "No major revelations in WH e-mail release."

Thomas Collins

In terms of the possibility of Obama's being impeached by the House, no matter what comes out about Benghazi or 501(c)(4)gate or Fast and Furious or anything else, the House is not going to impeach the individual generally recognized as the first black POTUS. It is more likely that Joe Biden would score in the 170s on an IQ test than that the House would impeach Obama.

Jane

Do you think it is grounds for impeachment. He either knew or should have known.

Dave (in MA)

I can't decide who had the better line about that b-ball bigot:

"She was like a sexy nanny playing “pin the fried chicken on the Sambo.” She blindfolded him and spun him around until he was just blathering all sorts of incoherent racist sound bites that had the news media peeing themselves with glee."
--Abdul-Jabbar
or
"I have a dream that one day my children will live in an America where people are judged not by the color of their skin but by the color of the skin of their two-timing girlfriend's boyfriends in the executive box."
--Steyn.

Dave (in MA)

Jane,

http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/04/29/judicial-watch-benghazi-documents-point-white-house-misleading-talking-points

Google "Benghazi" "Jay Carney" "White House", Search Tools "Past Hour".

NK(withnewsoftware)

DaveMa-- I assume Kareem is dumping on Magic J owing to their long-term dislike (detest?) for one another. I gotta say, Kareem is far more harsh on the race mongers than Steyn is in this case. Kareem's got some satirist chops.

Thomas Collins

But Dave (in MA), let's get to the important questions: Does VStiv's desirability as a sugar babe go up or down after this kerfuffle? I say it goes up. Wealthy men will risk her outing their unsavory statements in order to be seen with and nuzzled by the Scorpion Sugar Babe.

I'll bet Hef has already contacted her about a shoot.

Dave (in MA)

Oh, I see NK used new software to beat me to the punch.

jimmyk

Jane, I don't see how it's a crime, strictly speaking, as there was no formal investigation at the time, just media questions. But "grounds for impeachment" is entirely subjective, basically anything that can get a majority in the House to vote for it.

jimmyk

Kareem's got some satirist chops.

Probably learned on the set of "Airplane." Of course as a "person of color" he has a lot more latitude to speak his mind.

Dave (in MA)

I guess I was unaware that Lew and Earvin did not get along.

Dave (in MA)

Hmm... Once the bimbo walks away with the guy's millions, will Jawn start looking for sugar mama #3?

NK(withnewsoftware)

Obummer will be impeached in 2015 over Amnesty EOs. The IRS and Benghazi and ObummerCare lies will be a very compelling narrative to stop the usurper and would be tyrant by impeachment. The Greek Oracle has spoken.... that is all.

rich@gmu

>>>Obummer will be impeached in 2015 over Amnesty EOs.<<<

lol ... that is some industrial strength wishcasting there.

Buckeye

Jay Carney needs to be hanging from a lamp post. Preferably if he is hung using those cutesy pajamas from the photo shoot as Mr. Claire Shipman.

NK(withnewsoftware)

DaveMa-- oh yeah. Kareem's been a public figure since he was about 12yo, and has a gigantic ego to match his gigantic talent. That said, I like the guy, but he assumed post-basketball the world would treat him like royalty and throw him $$$. he was angry that Magic and his HipHop crew made buckets more than Kareem and his sophisticated and docile Jazz vibe made after B-Ball. Kareem has the same anger at the Buss family, so I assume Kareem and Sterling are in league against LakerWorld generally.

Jim Eagle

I agree with TC. The house will not impeach Obama. Let him hang himself with his naivete, narcissism and stupidity.

Rush has the perfect solution to our Russian problem and our Sterling problem: Sell the Ciippers to Putin:)

Ann

Ben Rhodes, the brother of the CBS exec who tried to tamp down Sharyl Attkisson's stories?

http://freebeacon.com/national-security/benghazi-emails-show-white-house-effort-to-protect-obama/

Jane

I am so looking forward to the questions to the press secretary today. Carney will probably call in sick.

Thomas Collins

Always fun to have a robust, respectful disagreement with a JOM friend. With that in mind, NK, there won't even be a special select House Committee to investigate impeachmnet, much less a vote. Impeaching Obama would make the AA reaction to Sterling seem like extreme indifference, and no House member will risk the AA and establishment media reaction.

narciso

Yes, the very same, Ann,

narciso

So there's nothing that can be done, no crime too vile, no coverup too craven?

Jane

I think I posted this in the wrong thread. Who knows?

Jane

Thanks Dave. We found it a little while ago. It's all over facebook now. As is this wonderful outpouring of stuffed animals for Justina at the state house. With the resignation of the head of the DCF (or whatever the initials are)we may be making progress.

Meanwhile - aren't you a tech genius? My outlook stopped working. Any clue?

Miss Marple

Well, Tom Collins, I would hold a news conference with all GOP behind me and say, "With any other president we would consider these impeachable offenses, but due to the strain in race relations currently exacerbated by President Obama, we are going to decline."

Andrew

So conservatives who once thought of apartheid South Africa as an ally and demonized Nelson Mandela as a commie terrorist are now telling us what is and isn't apartheid?

Oh wait sorry this thread is already a BANGHAZZI!!!11 circle jerk. I'll just leave you alone.

Miss Marple

By the way, I don't know if you guys noticed it, but the kidnapping thing surfacedyet again in that story about the Rhodes memos.

Now, if Obama was involved in a conspiracy to kidnap, we really ARE talking about "high crimes" and not just political opinion about causes of Benghazi.

Miss Marple

How interesting that Andrew suddenly reappears to mock us for Benghazi. I wonder why?

jimmyk

What kidnapping thing?

Jane

I think the better angle is Obama shipping guns to alQaeda - which may be part of the kidnapping thing.

Miss Marple

jimmyk,

The theory that Obama conspired with the Muslim Brotherhood to stage a fake kidnapping of the American ambassador (Stephens) so that he could justify releasing the Blind Sheik in a trade.

I know this sounds like a weirdo conspiracy, but there WERE rumors from deep in the State Deptartment that the sheik was going to be released, and Stephens did go there without any security.

What I would like to know is what the Egyptian army found in all of those file cabinets in the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters, and who now has custody of those documents.

The way things are going, it wouldn't surprise me if Putin has them.

Miss Marple

jimmyk,

Forgot the part that the CIA guys weren't aware of this plot and so when they saw the kidnappers attacking, opened fire, whereupon the MB agents thought they had been double-crossed and killed the ambassador and the others.

NK(withnewsoftware)

ThomC-- I love respectful disagreements, but the Oracle has spoken, so it is said, so it shall be :)

Threadkiller

Now, for a more important question:

When did the banner change from Following The Arc From "Yes We Can" To "You Sit Thinking, 'You Know, Maybe. IDon't Know.' "  to Slacking Our Way To Success?

NK(withnewsoftware)

TK -- Months ago. I forgot the topic that TomM chose to frame the change, but I remember being impressed how funny it was by Tom.

jimmyk

The theory that Obama conspired with the Muslim Brotherhood to stage a fake kidnapping of the American ambassador (Stephens) so that he could justify releasing the Blind Sheik in a trade.

I would think that trading a terrorist conspirator for a kidnapped ambassador would not go over well with the American public, to put it mildly, but I suppose it's possible that there people in the Obama State Department stupid enough to think that.

The NBA is banning Sterling for life. I'm inclined to support Sterling at this point. Let the free market decide on his free speech. He's been saying this stuff for years. I swear this is one screwed up country when I have to support the racist.

Miss Marple

A nice dig on why the NBA hasn't done anything before now.

NBA guy uses the GM defense, as in "I can't answer for other administrations, I just got here."

Stephanie spring sprung baseballs back umm ummm umm

I suggested he make the change after IIRC a post about obamacare changing the work hours to less than 40 hours and the WH trying to spin it as a good thing that people are working less.

The Sterling ban will do nothing for our indigenous racists, except drive them further underground. What am I saying? SCOTUS says there isn't any more racism in America.

Talk to Kerry. He apologized for getting it wrong.

Lurch ain't too bright. But he's had a good run as a upper middle class gigolo for very rich women---so maybe part of him works.

Less covered was Kerry's comment at the same forum that our intelligence has tapes of Russians giving orders to the mysterious people who now seem to occupy Ukraine.

THAT will stop, of course, as Kerry revealed we were listening.

Not only is he a vile man, he is also stupid.

Oh, I wish I'd thought of that. But since I didn't, I can't steal that right away; maybe if I let it season for a day or two I can then pretend it is original.
