Barrack Obama is considered the worst President since WW2. even though he's reduced the deficit by 2 thirds(something no Republican President has ever been able to do), the unemployment rate just fell to 6.2 per cent with the fastest job creation since the Clinton era and under the President's watch the stock market just hit 17,000 for the first time in history.
The worst President since world war 2,Barrack Obama will be celebrating the 4th with a special event of the WH with members of the military and their families.
A majority of people have stated that in economic terms, they'd rather the policies of George W.Bush(responsible for cratering the US economy)put back in place.
Happy forth and enjoy this new wave of excellent economic news from the worst President since world war two.

Regarding cursive, the #1 reason it should be taught is so that you can read it! #2 (according to my art teacher sister) is that without it and scissor cutting, most children do not do anything else to develop fine motor skills, which need to be developed early if we want to have future generations of surgeons and artists and jewelers, etc.
"“According to Earnest, following his visit to the Mosque, the President will host the traditional White House July 4th cookout. Several influential Muslim leaders have been invited to attend the cookout, as a further gesture of goodwill.”

A hot dagger in the eye to you, America! Obama makes it clear he'd rather spend this American Independence Day honoring an ideology that abhors individual freedom, physically disfigures and enslaves its women; believes it is sacred to blatantly lie to 'infidels' while it blindly pursues its goal of one day ruling the entire world. And of course, proudly vows to murder anyone, anywhere, who stands in its way.
I see that duda is celebrating the inflation of the portforlios of the 1%, which is occurring at the expense of the poor and the middle class thanks to his messiah's idiotic economic policy. So some Goldman Sachs executive is celebrating on his yacht today with a bottle of champagne that costs more than silly, deluded duda--who has to live in his mother's basement--gets in welfare in a month. And the sucker thinks this is just great.

One of the things we regular Americans on't get is that the Muslim sense of repression is real.
You see, in the Ummah anyone who is not Muslim is an untermensch. So it is natural and right to Muslims to have rights superior to anyone else. Therefore, our American concept of equal rights is repressive of Mulims. We, especially, are just a bunch of dumbass crackers, after all.
I would also suggest that on this Independence Day we start a new campaign to finish the fence. Every interested American should devote 1-2 days to going down to the border and erecting 10' of fence.
I'm sure we could find construction companies to donate the heavy equipment and maybe Arcelor Mittal might donate the materials.
Dig, post, cement, weld, repeat. We could be done by Christmas. Then let's talk reform.
No on topic comments? About baseball on the 4th of July?
I doubt MLB allows an appeal on a continuing play. Once the guy was called safe, the catcher acted on that assumption. Either the umps messed up in allowing the appeal, or MLB screwed up its appeal rule. I suspect the former, and the protest will be upheld.
the Peggster found the keys to the liquor cabinet again:
But I'm not sure people are noticing the sheer strangeness of how the president is responding to the lack of success around him. He once seemed a serious man. He wrote books, lectured on the Constitution. Now he seems unserious, frivolous, shallow. He hangs with celebrities, plays golf. His references to Congress are merely sarcastic: "So sue me." "They don't do anything except block me. And call me names. It can't be that much fun."
I am in an area where the closest major league team is Cincinnati, almost 2 hours away.
I grew up without baseball, as our minor league team's old ballpark was in a bad part of town to which few of my contemporaries wanted to go. My son didn't like baseball and after a couple years of Little league changed to a summer swim team.
So I just don't know anything about it other than the basic rules and a few famous names. This is why I didn't comment on topic.
Actually Jane it's that and full time jobs being replaced with part time ones and people dropping out of the work force. You know, the Barry's great achievement;

Contra SultanKnish, the only part of the Declaration that bothers me is "the pursuit of happiness". It's a noble sentiment but far too easily manipulated by collectivist do gooders who wish to compel us to pursue what they think should make us happy.
The Lockean "life, liberty and property" is considerably less poetic but a lot closer to securing the means by which we can pursue whatever it is we wish to pursue unimpeded by the infernal, omnipresent busy bodies of the world.
BOzo demands "economic patriotism" in the second speech in 2 days. Basically, anyone who doesn't support BOzo in everything he says and does is unpatriotic.
"A family’s livestock enterprise in New Mexico is in danger of being completely shut down now that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has declared the meadow jumping mouse to be an endangered species, Watchdog reports. The new regulations came into effect from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service last month, and as a result, the U.S. Forest Service is considering installing 8-foot high fences to protect the mouse, which would permanently prevent the Lucero family’s livestock from grazing."
Few things say more about the left than the current almost universal turn toward using the words migrant and immigrant when referring to illegal aliens in an attempt to blur the lines and make all immigration synonymous.
To cheer Barry on with his unilateral DREAMmare which has caused this mess and the deaths of not a few minor "migrants" is.....what's the word for way worse then disgustingly cynical? Traitorous?
They are willing to illegally import as many hapless new consumers of the welfare state and mowers of their lawns as they need to remake America into their own graven image.
In not too many years, if they're not stopped, we're going to celebrating Dependence Day on May 1st, with a bonus fiesta/siesta on Cinco de Quatro.
July 4th will simply be another nose to Leviathan's grindstone day.
Contra SultanKnish, the only part of the Declaration that bothers me is "the pursuit of happiness". It's a noble sentiment but far too easily manipulated by collectivist do gooders who wish to compel us to pursue what they think should make us happy.
I think where a lot of problems start is that pursuing a concept of happiness isn't the same thing as attaining it.
"think you are right and sorry i got taken in by a hoax."

Orwellian, Deb.
For years the left excoriated the right for correctly implying that the many parts of the leftist project contrary to the Constitution and Declaration could be seen as less than patriotic or even that nonpartisan displays of loving your country and generic demonstrations of patriotism were chauvinistic and unseemly.
Now, Napoleon like, the Swine in chief and his little piggies tell us not supporting those parts of the leftist project contrary to the Constitution and Declaration, let alone criticizing them, is unpatriotic.
We're heading, probably inexorably, to another Lexington and Concord. The course of human events......

Yeah, isn't that something? They can build a veritable Berlin Wall to protect a jumping meadow muffin kangaroo mouse or whatever it was, but protect the country?
Well, we can build some barriers for cars where no cars are and that's good enough, right?
Ig/Zig @11:38 gets it right. The 6.1 U3 rateis the result of millions leaving the work force am employers converting millions of jobs to part time to avoid ObummerCare and state employment rules.
"... here in America, you write your own destiny. You make your own future." - President Obama
Our Community-Agitator-in-Chief didn't write his; Billy the Commie Bomber did.
Extraneus has it right; the market and the economy tanked when it became apparent that Da Bamstuh was going to win in 2008. As a retiree, I watch what the market does to my investments.
Now I happened to retire in the summer of 2000 taking a lump sum payout. Clinton supposedly had a booming economy; au contraire ---I watched some of my fellow retirees take a 40 per cent hit between early July and November as the dot com bubble collapsed. All of the damage was done by the end of November and Dubya wasn't even in office yet. Four years later with 3% unemployment Jean Fraud Kerry was braying through his horse's nose (how can a horse's ass like Kerrry also have a horse's nose? But I digress) about a "jobless recovery" and "the worst economy since the Depression". There are a heck of a lot of people out there today who would get down on their knees and thank their lucky stars if we had an economy such as existed in 2004.
Dubya got handed a worse economic opener than Obama-- but Dubya went out and did something about it, made the right moves etc. The Bamster--not so much. He'd rather lecture and golf.
"the market and the economy tanked when it became apparent that Da Bamstuh was going to win in 2008"
I just don't think that's a defensible position. It began to tank when the banks started going belly up, and McCain was still leading my a slim margin. Then McCain suspended his campaign, was perceived as a hapless fool for doing so, and never recovered.
Agree with jimmyk. The ump at 2nd told the catcher (with the "safe" sign) that the force was still on at the plate. Why waste time trying to tag a runner that was already out. Don't see where the bad call at 2nd prejudiced the Jays. Either the out at home stands or both outs stand.

This used to be a free country.

I posted a link to it also.
If we did get taken in, according to Google there are a lot of sites that have articles showing they were taken in also.
My guess is that he planned to and some one realized how it would appear to the American public. I wonder what the menu is for the BBQ?

Danube, they should put Fish and Wildlife in charge of the border fence.

Hey, TK, catching up, saw your accident report. Glad it wasn't worse, hope your recovery is speedy.

Yeah, isn't that something? They can build a veritable Berlin Wall to protect a jumping meadow muffin kangaroo mouse or whatever it was, but protect the country?
Well, we can build some barriers for cars where no cars are and that's good enough, right?

Can we get America declared an endangered species?
Posted by: Ignatz Ratzkiwaski | July 04, 2014 at 01:06 PM
There's only one left, it's diseased and it's habitat is being destroyed.
Barry's plan is, throw a net on it and try a captive breeding program.

Ig/Zig @11:38 gets it right. The 6.1 U3 rateis the result of millions leaving the work force am employers converting millions of jobs to part time to avoid ObummerCare and state employment rules.

Occurred to me it's been a long while since I've heard that former-favorite liberal snark that "patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel".

Too good to check.... Obama to mosque appears to be a hoax done to embarrass righties. Earnest mentioned nothing about this in his briefing yesterday.

Danube, it is also when the attacks on Palin got out of control, so it's hard to decide how much each affected the campaign.
I do agree that the beginning of the economic downturn began before the election.
Obama, however, deserves all of the blame for making it much worse than it needed to be.
