Well the whole state of affairs is so absurd, that Monty Python's 'Man with three noses'
might be apt.

@centralcal: Won't hurt at all using beer in your boil. And yes, for sure, on the good bread and melted butter! Yummy!!

"what is the principle that requires us to drop bombs on Libyan soil, but forbids us to do so on Syrian soil?"

We had the full support of British Petroleum and TOTAL for intervention in Libya, especially since we footed the bill. British Petroleum passed on the Syrian opportunity when the President first proposed a little bombing in support of ISIS, as did TOTAL. They apparently had a better understanding of ISIS than does the President.

Unless of course I drink more than I add to the pot, right?

It's an oldie, but still a goodie:

"I really love cooking with wine. Sometimes, I even put some in the food."

UCLA, Bama, Ohio State and (so far) Georgia have not lived up to their rankings.

Captain Hate on the iPad

I wish to point out that Lane Kiffin has nothing to do with that sieve of a defense. And the QB is a work in progress.

O$U was very lucky to beat Navy last year with a healthy Braxton Miller at the Horseshoe.

Lol, Eric. I always pour cocktails freely for dinner guests. Always get raves about what a great meal it was! ::wink::

I urged his firing simply because he is an asshole. But I would definitely keep Layla around.

Well the former was a Saudi and Qatari project against Qaddafi, there's a roman a clef, by a Frenchmen, Gerald des Villiers, 'the Madmen of Benghazi' that illustrates this, as we see from the Libyan Herald, that project has gone pear shaped, with the Misratan (bad guys) overwhelming (the good )Zintan, led by General Hafter, for the time being, ISIS and Nusra Front are the former counterpart

Our last night at the lake we had a fish fry. Oh. My. Freaking. Stars. Fresh fried catfish that we caught, home made hush puppies, onion rings, French fries and cole slaw, dill pickles, sliced onion and tomatoes from my sister's garden. And of course lots of sweet iced tea followed with chocolate birthday cake. Im so hungry for that meal tonight...

When was the last time UCLA football lived up to its ranking?

Captain Hate on the iPad

Shocking that OJ, hater of women and Jews, has converted to the religion of pieces.

Damn right, Danube! She's a keeper!

I was a little surprised that Sims started, Captain. He showed some poise, but needs time. Thankfully we have a few sleepers before entertaining JiB's Gators.

The article does say that it isn't confirmed CH.

But I can believe it.

Quarter mile relay. He ran third.

I saw OJ set a world track record that still stands.

New thread up.

Janet - the districts lie fallow, while the Capitol gorges itself

He singes McCain,

Step 1 - find out what Allahu akbar means.

"..That incensed McCain, who shot back: “Would you have a problem with an American or Christians saying ‘thank God? Thank God?’ That’s what they’re saying. Come on! Of course they’re Muslims, but they’re moderates and I guarantee you they are moderates.”

Wrong on all counts. In the first place, it does not mean “thank God,” as McCain seems to have affirmed when he said, “That’s what they’re saying.” Allahu akbar means “Allah is greater” – not, as it is often translated, “God is great.” The significance of this is enormous, as it is essentially a proclamation of superiority and supremacism. Allah is greater – than any of the gods of the infidels, and Islam is superior to all other religions."
