OFFS! (Oh, for f**ks sake) (follow by loud gagging noises).

No wonder this administration never gets anything done. They are so busy congratulating themselves on being The Smartest Guys In The Room (TM), they have no energy left to actually accomplish anything.

NKrebooting

TomM-- I agree with you that Jarrett is more cheerleader and hanger on for Obummer than brillant puppetmaster. But I disagree that 'anyone' could have done what she did; it takes a really selfish and digusting personalty to do what she's done. Not that many people have it in them to do what she's done.

George

Our Gal Val is pretty amazing in her own right. Your self esteem has to be artificially high to think that you can make the judgment she claims about Obama. She is lucky that Henry Gondorff never decided to give her a big break in business.

I'm skeptical. We're still waiting for Presby to retrieve hubby's CT scan and report from the digital hole.

So what I sensed in [Obama] was ... somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy

The Ferret saw an emotionally needy biracial dimwit deserted by both parents and in bad need of some black cred; so she jumped right into that gaping vacuum, replacing the ditzy white nymphomaniac with a particular fetish for muslim johnson and making him an instant member of the Chitown black lowlife network.

"Our Gal Val is pretty amazing in her own right"

I completely agree. She is all of Chicago politics wrapped up in one ugly wrapper.

As I said in the last thread. John Fund's column made my heart sing (altho I will never forgive him for promising there was no way the Supremes would ever allow Obamacare to stand)

NKrebooting

captH@1210-- wow, that's some tour de force analysis of the Iranian Ferret, part Freud, part Daley... but probably close to the truth.

A thread about the Ferret wouldn't be complete without mentioning that in a fair and just world she'd be incarcerated for the housing crap she pulled in Shitcargo.

OL, are you questioning the existence of Stanley Ann?

Rasmussen out for the paying with a Ga Senate poll. The progeny of Senator Sam seems to be coming up pretty darn short:

GA-Sen

Perdue (R) 46%
Nunn (D) 42%

Certain to Vote
Perdue (R) 50%
Nunn (D) 43%

Perdue faves 51/39
Nunn faves 48/44

Obamacare 39/57
Obama Approval 46/53

8% of Rs undecided
8% of Ds undecided

Perdue leads among I’s 46-35
11% undecided

Look at the certain to vote numbers, look at the favorability ratings relative to the two candidates and then remember the "NEW" Rasmussen with Scott Rasmussen has been finding much higher Obama favorability than virtually all other pollsters. Look at the number above and ask yourself if Georgia is likely to be 46% fav for Zero.

Ig@12:27--Interesting insight.

OL,

I find Miz Lindsey's aspirations particularly amusing considering that Tim Scott out polls him by 10% in South Carolina. An incumbent Senator in a Free State who is only drawing 46% support is not particularly inspiring.

fdcol63

It boggles my mind that America elected someone as President whose background and history is still a mystery, but what little we already knew about him exposed what a radical, Marxist/Socialist, anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Semitic, Muslim-sympathizing racist he is.

As to the existence of Stanley Ann -- the good Captain's rather graphic insult does bring to mind a rather interesting question: How much of SA-the-nympho is real and how much was invented by Bill Ayers? (Who is a pretty darn good writer who knows how to write a good yarn and not let facts get in the way.)

That doesn't mean he is very smart, it only means he's afraid to hire anyone smarter. Which explains the complete incompetence of the Admin. He feels like a giant amongst the handpicked dwarfs.

GMax,

Right on schedule and I am sure H&R has the proof. I predicted last month the WH 's goal of 5.9 Unemployment rate and voila- 5.9 today. It is all rigged with revisions coming but we have to suffer through false accounts of how great the economy is under this maladministration.
Remember when 275,000 jobs created under President Bush was considered AWFUL.
What we are not told is that wages remain unchanged and 34.2 is the average hours worked per week. Macy's has hired 50,000 for the holidays . Is that included in this inflated number? Remember one month when they just forgot to include California because the results would be so bad? Will said last night 15 million more people and we are at 1978 employment rates.

Hillary Clinton Adds Key Line to Pre-2016 Stump Speech

Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky is just five days old and already appears to be a living embodiment of themes her grandmother, Hillary Clinton, could put to use on the campaign trail.

During her prepared remarks at a women’s real estate convention in Miami this afternoon, the former secretary of state used a line never heard before on her paid-speaking circuit: one about the future for her new granddaughter.

“I think my granddaughter has just as much God-given potential as a boy who was born in that hospital on the same day,” Clinton told the crowd at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, adding, “I just believe that. That’s the way I was raised.”

Wow, what a profound thing to say. I'll have to ponder that for a while...

James D.

It is all rigged with revisions coming but we have to suffer through false accounts of how great the economy is under this maladministration.

This guy's the president of the effing country and he calls out a cable station that apparently isn't ass-kissing enough while lying through his teeth. Is that evidence of this?

And he knows that he has the ability — the extraordinary, uncanny ability — to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually
So, in reality he can only take 999 different perspectives, right? And people think being an asshole to half the country is praiseworthy and presidential?

True, James D, but too many take it as gospel,

It's the same broken record that has been playing since 2007. He's the smartest man in the room and is bored with it all because he's so darned smart. And doggonit, people like him.

Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Cover it up. Hide the evidence trail. Our first fascist president.

But doggonit people don't like him anymore. he has proven time and again to be a lying self serving narcissist. So in the end the Ferret will be outed along with her co-conspirator. Hopefully they will be prosecuted.

Just catching up, but saw this in my inbox just now:

Gallup: More voters say their 2014 vote will be made to send a message to oppose President Obama (32%) than to support him (20%). Those figures are similar to what Gallup measured for Obama in 2010 and George W. Bush in 2006.

As Michelle Obama Campaigns, Some Democrats Fear Her Last Name Is a Liability

MILWAUKEE — She can rouse a crowd as she did here this week, connect with women and drive turnout among African-American voters. Yet despite the nail-biting closeness of state contests to decide which party will control the Senate, Michelle Obama has been largely absent from the campaign trail so far.

Get this...

She has her reasons, Democrats say: Mrs. Obama hates to be away from her daughters. She loathes Washington’s toxic politics. She resents Republicans for their opposition to her husband’s agenda. But she also believes some Senate Democrats have been insufficiently supportive of her own efforts to end childhood obesity.

Old Lurker

Did anyone link this yet?

This will surely surprise MM (Breitbart):

In interviews with the Liberian Observer, one of the nation's largest newspapers, both Thomas Eric Duncan's former boss, Henry Brunson, and an unnamed coworker agree that they believe Duncan knew he had Ebola when he boarded a plane out of Monrovia with a final destination in Texas. Brunson noted that, having come into contact with a pregnant woman who died hours after her interaction with Duncan, he knew of his disease. “If he were in Liberia, he was going to surely die,” Brunson told the paper, saying he was "glad" that Duncan was in a country with adequate medical resources.
Duncan worked as a driver for Brunson at the FedEx contractor SafeWay Cargo until mid-September. According to the Observer, Duncan was involved in a car accident at the end of the tenure at the company, and, according to workers, "having acquired an American visa, he did not care and never returned to work afterwards."
Another unnamed source, described as a FedEx worker in Monrovia, told the Observer that Duncan knew he had Ebola, as well. "A source at FedEx in Monrovia said Mr. Duncan apparently knew he was suffering from the disease and that his best chance of survival was reaching to the United States," writes author Omari Jackson, "a position that a family source denied, when we sought confirmation." The Observer notes that the departure to America, for the source and others consulted, appeared a "desperate attempt to survive."

Very Funndy.

Fund also: She(Val) clearly makes the president feel even better about himself than he would anyway.

Denver school board refuses to drop curriculum review that promotes patriotism

From what I heard, it's not even so much a matter of "promoting patriotism" as it is trying to cleanse the curriculum of leftist anti-American BS. An honest curriculum that teaches students real history will by itself encourage patriotism. The headline makes it sound as though they want something equally biased from the other side.

jimmyk

Macy's has hired 50,000 for the holidays . Is that included in this inflated number?

In principle seasonal stuff is factored out, but it's hardly a foolproof process. The real point is that even if the numbers are real, they stink: It's essentially the slowest recovery after the deepest drop since the Great Depression, so we're millions of jobs behind and not really catching up.

It would be great to find an Obama quote criticizing numbers like 240,000 when Bush was president. It's probably out there, just like the criticism over avian flu.

maryrose

rse: I also want to thank you for your tireless work in exposing what is happening in education.

MM, a suggestion for next week.

Put together an innocuous 'fact sheet' to give out and get the priests approval to 'educate' them.

Want to see an LIV cleave to the real news? Educate them with info that is dangerous to them. There were no LIVs just after 9/11.

jimmyk

the main change was the removal of some feel-good stuff about civil unrest.

It's the usual pattern: Trying to remove bias is depicted by the left as bias or censorship; trying to reverse lefty judicial activism is decried as activist. Just as Fox gets accused of being right-wing because it's not blatantly biased to the left like the rest of the networks. I just wish the headline on that article made that clearer instead of going along with it, especially as it was a Fox News article.

MarkO

Of course someone exposed to Ebola would do whatever it took to come to the US. Those who go to Mexico and wander in will have infected Mexicans. What will those people do when there are hundreds dying in Mexico?

How does this end well?

maryrose

I have proctored the American History AP exam. The questions do not relate to touchy-feely memes about real American History. It is based on facts and the real landmarks of American development. I did take a college course which stressed a more liberal point of view and talked about the stain of slavery.
