Michelle Obama made another gaffe stumping for a Democratic candidate on Thursday, appearing to confuse the family history of Colorado’s Mark Udall with that of his Republican opponent.
“As a fifth-generation Coloradan, Mark understands what makes this state special,” the first lady said from Denver on Thursday.
Except Udall isn’t from Colorado: He is the son of former longtime Arizona congressman Mo Udall. Mark was born in Tucson, Ariz., and moved to Colorado after he graduated from college.
On the other hand, Udall’s opponent, Republican Cory Gardner, comes from a long line of Coloradans. According to Gardner’s website, his roots in the Centennial State go back to 1886.
Don't blame Michelle, I think she was exposed to some second-hand brownies.
I also like how it's not just that they show they are liars in regards to "Violence against Women," they are also liars in regards to "The children of politicians are off limits."
Mo Udall had one eye. And, a terrific sense of humor. It was because of his humor that he couldn't be considered presidential timber.
The races are "tight" not because of Sarah Palin, but because Obama is actually outdoing Jimmy Carter!
I bet Alaska is a pretty place. But journalists assigned to cover Sarah are there for only one reason! She generates headlines!

Had an interesting conversation yesterday with a black airline employee who lives in Calif and was going for some training. He thought bo's agenda was being constrained by Congress and that the middle class was disappearing.
I let him talk some more about his views of the world and then asked him what he would do if the President went through with amnesty for the 34 million illegals after the election. He first said "he won't do that," then he said that would be the end of his support.
I am willing to bet it's the camel's back-breaking straw for others as well.

I've been listening to the biggest local Conservative Talk Show for the opening Half Hour. (Dave Steiren, the guy who replaced Dan Fagan). He's a lousy Talk Host and a perennial Sarah Palin hater. So far, it has been only the Sarah Endorsement story---not a word about Begich and his "President Obama's not relevant" gaffe.
Frustrating to me as the ADN still does not report the quote, nor the local News stations per a google search, so tho' you guys and FOX News watchers are aware of it, it has been effectively censored in Alaska.
I should be calling in to the guy within the next half hour, but he just went to the break and said after the break he will be discussing "Vampires."

The document was produced as the result of a court order in the group’s September 2012 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. Department of Justice (No. 1:12-cv-01510)).
The Mail piece on the NYC doc said the test results would take 48 hours. Reuters (and DiBlasio) say 12 hours. I'll go with early evening if its negative and after market open tomorrow if its positive.
If he's positive for Ebola and camped in NYC, then I believe there might be a slight tightening of the wondrous CDC protocols very shortly.
Thanks, jimmyk. Nowhere in that list do I see anybody as hilariously zany, while being 100% wrong about everything, as Alexander Cockburn; rather they all seem tediously boring like Thomas Frank or Al "I'm not dead yet in case anybody cares" Hunt.
So yeah, the Vaughn Index. Is Obama claiming executive privilege on every document in it, including emails between Holder and his wife and mother - Fast & Furious emails between Holder and his wife and mother, specifically?
I don't know about you guys, but I'm curious about Holder's government emails about Fast & Furious to his mother.
"Mom, I tried to get enough US guns into Mexico to make it seem like our gun dealers were flooding Mexico with guns, like Barack said we were, but now they're onto me. What should I do?"
RickB, that doctor came in before the new, wonderful reporting policy was in place. Now it won't be optional to contact authorities when you have a fever--you have to report your temperature daily.
Nobody would ever not actually take it and make one up or anything...
Seems prudent to have health care workers with known contact to quarantine for 21 days to me.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm curious about Holder's government emails about Fast & Furious to his mother.
"Hi Mom,
You're going to be hearing about something called "Fast & Furious" in the news. It's a movie about fast cars and street gangs, the kind of loud movie you don't like. They keep making sequels, so I'm going to put a stop to it. The press doesn't like it so don't pay any attention.
It may not be solvable with money. Minnesota may have been selected as a test bed for the GOPe data driven GOTV. It would certainly serve Franken right if it has been selected.
Fortunately, the Obamas have other options, one of which is California, which has a solid variety of golf options (you can even live in private communities with their own private courses), warm weather, and a pleasingly liberal electorate that doesn't think too hard about who they send to DC. And while Barack Obama might be out of contention, rumor has it Michelle has her eye on the prize: Dianne Feinstein's Senate seat.
1. Cheap dates in high school
2. A ladies league when my daughter was small which offered free babysitting while we bowled. (It was boring.)
3. With one grandchild, I believe the middle one, for a birthday party.
"Mom, I know you really liked that black-power' 'fro I wore when I was at Columbia, but Obama says it would cause him too much political backlash. Wait until he suspends the Constitution, then I'll grow it out again. Love you, your son, Eric"
Franken is not very valuable. After all, he's just another pasty white man in a state where the Freeshit Army only has a light platoon to deploy. It's not a bad place to try out the data program.
I hope the NYC doc is clear but MSF volunteers don't have a good safety record to date. Tight adherence to good practice doesn't really fit their political views. They do a lot of good work despite the politics but most of them could be editors for the Lancet in terms of their views.
Yes he did, but they were damaged by the improper delay and could demonstrate those damages. Looks to me like pretty crappy jurisprudence.
What's he's saying is they can violate their own regs, harm you and then finally do what they were suppossed to do years late and you have no recourse.
Bullshit decision.
That is what his opinion read. Suit was considered moot now that they were legit.
Regarding bowling. Most Florida high schools have boys and girls bowling teams. Our two local public HS's are damn good if you believe the scores they post. You see single games of 275, 260, 255, etc. and series of the mid 700's. That's almost professional like.
Forget the shies, only so many his size. What aboiut the ball or balls he used. More of them than shoes.

Sorry, Frau. That was an obscure reference to a combination of threads intended for rich. I wasn't slamming Palin.
But I'm always willing to slam the Office of the President Elect!

We're not young enough to ever have them out of our lives, TK. And it hurts to say that. They will not fade away.

That would raise my spirits a great deal, RickB. If I still had my voodoo doll, it would have Al's name written with pins.

rich,
The only times I have been bowling are
1. Cheap dates in high school
2. A ladies league when my daughter was small which offered free babysitting while we bowled. (It was boring.)
3. With one grandchild, I believe the middle one, for a birthday party.
So I agree with you.

My list is similar, Miss Marple. Actually, #2 is identical!!!

Beasts! I knew you were not slamming Palin. I couldn't resist bringing in Barry's puke-worthy cheap shot following his styrofoam Greek pillars shtick.

Now hold on! I take all my dates bowling. Chicks really dig the rental shoes...
Posted by: Beasts of England | October 23, 2014 at 08:06 PM
Used to love bowling. High game: 232. I was a younger man then. Carry on.
Posted by: lyle | October 23, 2014 at 08:06 PM
You had me until you mentioned the rental shoes. A man of your stature would have his own. So, bullshit, BoE.

Frau,
Franken is not very valuable. After all, he's just another pasty white man in a state where the Freeshit Army only has a light platoon to deploy. It's not a bad place to try out the data program.
Posted by: RickB | October 23, 2014 at 08:17 PM
That was a bridge too far, huh, lyle? ;)
Posted by: Beasts of England | October 23, 2014 at 08:18 PM
lyle, LOL on your slam at BOE on the rental shoes!
One thing I remember was in every case I listed above, I was the ONLY person who knew how to fill out the score sheet!
Including the team members when I was in a league!
This sort of reminds me of when I went to a retreat at my Catholic Church and a bunch of under 40 CRADLE CATHOLICS didn't know how to say the Rosary!

this the Eric's letters to mom thread now ...
"Send money. I need a lawyer.

interesting supposition. good idea.

Althouse has a post on this same topic. I believe it has struck a nerve. Her commentariat is slattering the idiot talking heads.

I hope the NYC doc is clear but MSF volunteers don't have a good safety record to date. Tight adherence to good practice doesn't really fit their political views. They do a lot of good work despite the politics but most of them could be editors for the Lancet in terms of their views.

was Althouse saying "nothing to see here" or agreeing with Bristol? to lazy to wheel over and look.

I'm guessing the lunatic who was swinging a Estwing campers axe at NYC police has some IS stuff on his Facebook page. Just a guess...
Getting crazy out there. Watch the pumpkin people.

I believe he tossed the true the Vote case because ti was moot. The organization had already received its tax exemption.

Sam Nunn is a decent guy and was a good Senator. I knew and liked him and his wife, Colleen.Michelle has that going for her, Still, I hope she loses.
Posted by: clarice | October 23, 2014 at 08:33 PM
Yes he did, but they were damaged by the improper delay and could demonstrate those damages. Looks to me like pretty crappy jurisprudence.
What's he's saying is they can violate their own regs, harm you and then finally do what they were suppossed to do years late and you have no recourse.
Bullshit decision.
Posted by: Iggy | October 23, 2014 at 08:33 PM
clarice,
That is what his opinion read.
