Any minute now. The leaks seem to point to no indictment, but I have no clue as to the local politcal forces. Maybe the leaks have been meant to push back against inexorable pressure for an indictment?
Fortunatley, Eric Holder is also involved so we know the Federal investigation won't be politicized. What, Al Sharpton wasn't available?
ANCIENT HISTORY: Back in 2008 prosecutor Bob McCulloch was operating in Missouri as a member of the Obama Truth Squad:
The Missouri Truth Squad, an Obama campaign press release stated last week, would “respond quickly, forcefully, and aggressively when John McCain or his allies launch inaccurate claims or character attacks about Barack Obama, or when they distort Barack Obama’s record or plans.”
So what’s the problem?
Many of the Obama Missouri Truth Squad members have law enforcement powers, such as St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, and Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer.
That was then.

After watching the BBC America propaganda story on Ferguson, I had to link to the 11/19 Steve Kelley cartoon.
The BBC story was even worse than what I have seen on our local TV programs (while waiting for them to do the weather forecasts).
(I almost never watch the American network news shows, so I have to compare to the local shows.)
For instance, they could have shown a picture of Mike Brown committing that strong-arm robbery; instead, the used his graduation picture.

Thanks to everyone last night for your prayers and good thoughts for Daisy.
She's at the animal hospital, and they're taking good care of her. The best guess is that she's got Irritable Bowel Syndrome. That's pretty good news, if true, compared to what we were afraid we'd hear. If she keeps responding to treatment, hopefully we'll bring her home Wednesday.

Ferguson--protest central--is about 15-20 mins drive north. Clayton--county sea and second-wealthiest town in the areat--is about 5 miles/10 mins north (all time no traffic).
The mal mall with uparmored humvees is 3 1/2 miles north. While I could see someone wanting to loot there, two humvees in an empty parking lot just look silly. It's only a target because there is a MARTA equivalent stop which draws youts from the north side. Segways are probably better than 10-ton vehicles for apprehending youts.

Now, Sharpton has been legitimized. He is now a regular in the MSM, and taken "seriously" as some sort of pundit.
before the Obama years, he was treated as the little freak show he actually is. Even the NYT laughed at him, but no longer.
So you might not see him as legitimate, and nor would "Middle America", but from a national media perspective he most certainly has been "legitimated".

Running various interviews with protesters predicting violence if they do not get an indictment.
Now idle speculation on the delays...
Now video of the Missouri Dem Governor at some news conference.

AliceH,
One of the issues protesters have is the number of fairly homogenous small school districts up this way.
So far, schools which draw from Ferguson proper and the one surrounding the courthouse are the only ones closed.
Only one Catholic church has canceled Sunday School, whitch happens on Monday evenings round these parts for some reason. Spike was bummed.

Yes, and it is going on in some tiny little suburb. This should not even be regional news.
Again, it is a result of "direct action", communist agitation teams and political front groups. This is exactly how they work. It has been going on for more almost 100 years, and the body count is in the millions over the course of a century.
The disruptive use of race will continue apace, and it will get worse, not better.
Nothing that might happen tonight will change that.

It is not a matter of "the rest of us" being "Trayvonized", it is about whipping up the black, and, ironically considering that case, the Hispanic "communities". It is about waging war on regular, normal White America, and in that sense it "worked".
They may not get their riots, but they solidify a position with a force which later will be used for street violence when the moment comes, and even the threat of this sufficiently intimates their opponents.
The GOP are already so intimated that they will throw away their gains by not stopping Obama;s amnesty plans. Just watch, the GOP will lose credibility before they even actually are officially seated as the majority in the Senate.
So most certainly it has "worked".
If it had not, it viewers in the UK would not be up in the wee hours of the morning watching for an outcome of what should just be another violent blip is a tiny suburb of a 3rd tier city in MO.

BBC keeps showing Live street scenes of crowds as the Prosecutor answers questions. I imagine you are watching the same feeds.

Clarice - In the Seattle area, the local news folks have reacted to Obama administration failures by . . . changing the subject.
He and his administration are getting much less coverage than they did back in 2009.
To my mind, the biggest story today was -- by far -- the collapse/extension of the Iran talks deadline. But it got very little coverage here, and, I suspect, in the rest of the country.

I try to imagine the mindset that pre-decides that if the grand jury decides on the fate of a man charged with murder in a way they don't approve they are going to incite a riot. This is not something spontaneous or fleeting---the evidence has been available for months and they have had plenty of time to prepare themselves for disappointment. Rioting under most circumstances is not the conduct of civilized or thoughtful people--in this situation there is no excuse.

BBC just switched off Question/Answer coverage of the Prosecutor at 02:58, after about 40 straight minutes of coverage.
Now we are waiting for comments by President Obama, so on BBC they are interviewing some Professor from Emory University. The Emory University Prof (AA Woman) is holding out for hope of a Federal Case brought forward.
Now they are discussing the 12 year old Cleveland kid shot yesterday. BBC appears to me to be subtly inviting watchers to conclude that this is racism in action without saying it out loud.

Obama:
How to move foreward. We are a Nation built on the Rule of Law. There are Americans who agree with and Americans who are angry.
Destroying property is not the answer. (Quoting Brown's parents. ) We should honor their wishes.
I encourage our Police Officers to be restrained as they do their jobs and work with, not against the Community. Police need to distinguish between guys who want to use this for violence and those who just want their voices heard.
We know there are things we can do to help so I've instructed Holder to work to better relations between Police and their Communities, so that Law Enforcement conducts itself in ways that are fair to everybody.
There are people on both side of the Political Repubs and Dems, who want to help and tackle much needed Criminal Justice Reform.
This is an issue not just for ferguson but for America. We have made enormous progress in Race Relations. To deny that is to deny America's capacity for change. But there are still problems and some of these communities aren';t just making these complaints up.

Obama:
We need to understand these complaints and figure out what needs to be done. This won't be done by vandalism or hurting people. In Ferguson, channel your feelings constructively, not destructively.
Those of you watching uhhh, there is never an excuse for violence. On the other hand, those only focusing on the violence need to recognize we have work to do here and we shouldn't try to paper that anger over.
I am confident if we focus our attention on the problem, we can make progress.
