Zero is already seeing his nuclear deal with Iran (along with his whole ME policy) going up in flames. This speech is just a decent burial for the policy.
This has to be about the most bizarre situation I can think of in foreign policy.
Why are you surprised by progressive fascist support for the Persian racists? No other country has killed as many Arabs as the Persians and they are particularly adept at using up their own Arab population to kill other Arabs. That's almost as much fun for a progressive fascist as paying a bounty to have a black baby killed.
Challenge to DublinDave. Can you actually make substantive objections to Bibi's speech. Or is it just going to be blithering, slightly weird homoerotic stuff, slightly scented by the stale Guinness that makes your favorite pub's floor sticky?

Yes. He has no choice. Nor is his revelations new.
From the applause, it looks to me that the problem is not with Israeli-US relations, but with Obama-Israel relations (with help from Power, Jarrett, and Rice).
Appalled, it's Obama who has done whatever damage has been done to US/Israeli relations. He's BEEN doing damage to the relationship since the day he took office (and, frankly, his fellow Dems have been doing their best to damage the relationship for at least a decade prior to that).
Netanyahu understands that the physical survival of his country and his people is at extreme risk. Obama doesn't give a damn, at best, and more likely he'd be happy to see them all burn.
'expose what he is doing' kind of. The point here is to alert Americans (and CongressCritters) about what we don't know about the ShiaBomb, and explain why a bad deal, is FAR worse than no deal. This is battlespace prep for Americans and Congress to reject Obummers 'last minute' deal with the Mullahs, and alternatively, give Obummer/Kerry some room to back out of a bad deal.
Is what Bibi revealing in his speech about Iranian intentions worth the damage (and there is damage) this whole thing has done to US/Israeli relations?
I don't accept your premise. Obama damaged US-Israeli relations long before this speech. This is an attempt to *repair* relations between Israel and the sane citizens of the US. Judging by the increase in Bibi's popularity in advance of the speech, it's working.
Appalled, straight talk is good for relations. Continued toleration of abuse is not. Granted the straight talk is usually better done in private, but Jane is right that the relationship was harmed by Obama, now Bibi is just trying to salvage his country's survival.
Here's what you have to calculate into your "Obama ruined the Israeli/US relationship" meme.....Israelis are an insanely smart people who understand politics and the DHS funding Republican party are not. Bibi's reckless behaviour has cost him dearly in the polls among Israelis and there's a growing awareness of the party that facilitated that reckless behaviour.

Netanyahu is so right. The way to get a good deal is to understand the power of no. Politicians, who are fools, love to call "deal" prematurely. Their self-interest is always in the photo-op of getting a "deal," not the deal itself. They always ditch that substance, for appearance. Because they are just not that competent. They're always in a tizzy of seat of the pants flouncing about and "seeming"ness.
