Due? Go Bibi!!!

King v. Burwell is argued tomorrow. Here's a good primer on the SCOTUS prechttp://www.washingtonexaminer.com/a-guide-to-king-v.-burwell/article/2560947?custom_click=rss&utm_campaign=Weekly+Standard+Story+Box&utm_source=weeklystandard.com&utm_medium=referral#!endent ThomasC and I prattle on about:

Comanche Voter

Obozo and his minions have been busy prepping the battle space before the speech.

I figure the odds are good that my cable provider will have a "malfunction" from about 1100 Eastern time until at least noon.

Dublindave

Bracing,Tom?Relax man. Here, allow me to smear some KY jelly down there for you,it'll make it easier.

rich@gmu

good grief ... the progs are out in force.

Porchlight

Go Bibi!

Dublindave

Let the intentional undermining of US foreign policy begin by the Republicans and a man under investigation by his own people.

Here we go,Republicans V's the U.S round one.

Zero is already seeing his nuclear deal with Iran (along with his whole ME policy) going up in flames. This speech is just a decent burial for the policy.

This has to be about the most bizarre situation I can think of in foreign policy.

Dublindave

This speech is going to be run for Bibi's re-election campaign so make sure we get some good money shots.....aaaaand action!!!!!!

Jack is Back!

A reminder:

Rick Ballard

Rich,

Why are you surprised by progressive fascist support for the Persian racists? No other country has killed as many Arabs as the Persians and they are particularly adept at using up their own Arab population to kill other Arabs. That's almost as much fun for a progressive fascist as paying a bounty to have a black baby killed.

Appalled

Challenge to DublinDave. Can you actually make substantive objections to Bibi's speech. Or is it just going to be blithering, slightly weird homoerotic stuff, slightly scented by the stale Guinness that makes your favorite pub's floor sticky?

rich@gmu

opened up the USGS page to see if NK cooks off a nuke to demonstrate the effectiveness of negotiating an end to a nuclear program.

Dublindave

Bibi seems to be getting more applause than Bozo did at the SOTU.

Well he is a Foreign leader and we know how much the GOP are enamoured with foreign leaders. You need some KY jelly while a foreign leader uses your country to make a re-election video???????

Your sooooo weak I could almost puke!!!!!!

lyle

Preznit jiveass cowering in the WH, chainsmoking Kools and swearing. Bibi is waaaay too gracious.

He's going all out on the bipartisanship.

Saying that Obama is helping big time behind the scenes is very clever.

It tells Obama's Muslim friends (the radicals, not the moderates, Appalled) that Obama is the equivalent of a snitch in the 'hood.

lyle

Good point, TK.

jimmyk

Very true, TK.

Dublindave

Wow bibi really raised President Obama's pro-Israel credentials.Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all. Thanks for the free advertisement Bibi.

Yeah, intentionally undermining another Sovereign country's foreign policy is VERY gracious.

NKvirusedandback

TK-- agreed. Bibi very clever to remind the Mullah's/Hezbollah that Obummer swings both ways. They know that of course, but a public reminder is good for all conccerned.

Porchlight

Yeah, intentionally undermining another Sovereign country's foreign policy is VERY gracious.

Something Obama does constantly, most obviously Israel's.

rich@gmu

Iran's regime is as radical as ever ... deeply rooted in Radical Islam.

don't be fooled ...

lyle

Joo haters don't look too happy. Boxer is updating her FB page. Uh oh, Bibi just called out Iran and ISIS as "Islamic". Hope those "moderates" and their apologizers don't get too upset.

What foreign policy, Dudu?

You've been spared media coverage of Israeli soldiers shooting unarmed Palestinian children for sport. It truly is a sight to behold.

How one would square that with their God is a mystery.

Question after this speech is done:

Is what Bibi revealing in his speech about Iranian intentions worth the damage (and there is damage) this whole thing has done to US/Israeli relations?

rich@gmu

it paves their way to the bomb ...

NKvirusedandback

My Friend John Kerry? Sort of makes the Kerry jibes look very stab in the back, doesn't it?

Jane

It seems to me Obama ruined the relationship. The point of this, I assume, is to expose what he is doing with Iran and yes that is worth it.

rich@gmu

Why would Iran moderate if they have pathway to the bomb?

It would spark a nuclear arms race.

Threadkiller

Miss Marple

From the applause, it looks to me that the problem is not with Israeli-US relations, but with Obama-Israel relations (with help from Power, Jarrett, and Rice).

lyle

King Hussein has done way more damage to the relations than Bibi can possibly do, Appalled. Not surprising you can't admit it.

Old Lurker

Or with Obama - US relations MM.

James D.

Appalled, it's Obama who has done whatever damage has been done to US/Israeli relations. He's BEEN doing damage to the relationship since the day he took office (and, frankly, his fellow Dems have been doing their best to damage the relationship for at least a decade prior to that).

Netanyahu understands that the physical survival of his country and his people is at extreme risk. Obama doesn't give a damn, at best, and more likely he'd be happy to see them all burn.

Appalled

TK:

Good Lord, I would hope I could come up with a better sock puppet than DD

NKvirusedandback

'expose what he is doing' kind of. The point here is to alert Americans (and CongressCritters) about what we don't know about the ShiaBomb, and explain why a bad deal, is FAR worse than no deal. This is battlespace prep for Americans and Congress to reject Obummers 'last minute' deal with the Mullahs, and alternatively, give Obummer/Kerry some room to back out of a bad deal.

rich@gmu

if Iran wants to be treated like a normal country let them act like a normal country.

Porchlight

Is what Bibi revealing in his speech about Iranian intentions worth the damage (and there is damage) this whole thing has done to US/Israeli relations?

I don't accept your premise. Obama damaged US-Israeli relations long before this speech. This is an attempt to *repair* relations between Israel and the sane citizens of the US. Judging by the increase in Bibi's popularity in advance of the speech, it's working.

Buckeye

BiBi bitch slapping the shit out of Zero, Lurch and the Iranian ferret.

Keep it up.

jimmyk

Appalled, straight talk is good for relations. Continued toleration of abuse is not. Granted the straight talk is usually better done in private, but Jane is right that the relationship was harmed by Obama, now Bibi is just trying to salvage his country's survival.

Jane

This really is a good speech.

Jack is Back!

TK:)

anonamom

Appalled---it hasn't damaged it with the adults in this country.

Frau Steingehirn

"My long-time friend John Kerry..." heh

"Why would anyone make this deal?"

Dublindave

Here's what you have to calculate into your "Obama ruined the Israeli/US relationship" meme.....Israelis are an insanely smart people who understand politics and the DHS funding Republican party are not. Bibi's reckless behaviour has cost him dearly in the polls among Israelis and there's a growing awareness of the party that facilitated that reckless behaviour.

Netanyahu is so right. The way to get a good deal is to understand the power of no. Politicians, who are fools, love to call "deal" prematurely. Their self-interest is always in the photo-op of getting a "deal," not the deal itself. They always ditch that substance, for appearance. Because they are just not that competent. They're always in a tizzy of seat of the pants flouncing about and "seeming"ness.
