Two officers shot in Ferguson. I get tired writing this, but if Sarah Palin had used the word "target" within twenty five words of "Ferguson", she would be blamed for this by all the usual suspects in the MSM. But since it is now Holder, rather than NYC Mayor DeBlasio, clearly there is no blame to be attached for the actions of stray nutjobs.
And so it goes.

The ewok speaks:
The left is having spasms that people on the right are suggesting that these shootings just might be the result of a viciously false narrative peddled by the radical left, the President, and their fellow travelers in the media.
In every other shooting, the left goes looking for the toxic politics that animated the shooting, and tries to connect it with a politician's words; here, they're aghast that anyone would be so gauche to do that.
Shouldn't Saint Gabby and her organ grinder husband be taking their act to Ferguson?

You want to know exactly how craven Zero and his Democrat entourage is? Read this from John at Powerline on how Zero seriptiously met with Iran and totally undercut Bush on nuclear negotiations going on in 2008. One thing you can take to the bank, when Democrats are complaining about something, you can be certain they have done it with impunity. An open letter versus a clandestine meeting? Sheesh.

the write up I have was from polls taken at the beginning of March. Israel has a confusing election system (and odd laws where polling et al are banned). The poll average was Zionist Union with 22-25 seats and Likud with 21-24 seats. However rightist parties have declared they will form a government with Likud (giving Netanyahu a small rightist collation). In short Zionist Union could have a majority of seats in the Knesset but still wouldn't be able to form a government. A Likud-Jewish Home government would put Netanyahu back in as PM.
http://knessetjeremy.com/
polling averages ... he'll probably have to go dark in a few days because of Israeli elections laws. Also don't discount the fact that local parties would use international media to influence the election in closing days.
Posted by: rich@gmu | March 12, 2015 at 02:00 PM
the other issue is that the Zionist Union is itself a collation (probably unstable once the money and media goes away), and although Herzog is the party leader for now, Livni would also get a PM rotation. Their agreement struck me as not dissimilar to one of the plans Ford proposed when he almost lost to Reagan in 1976-a virtual co presidency where Ford would be President for 2 years then Reagan would take over after 2 years.

Whew. Missed a big one. We took 95 South instead of I-4 to SR-417 to The Beach Line to the airport. Should have checked the traffic. About 3 miles short of the exit to New Smyrna Beach we run in to stalled traffic. A semi flipped over near Melbourne and they shut down 95 south. Total.
Our flight is at 3:25 now 3:50 ot Islip. It took us 1 hour to crawl to SR-44 where we were able to navigate back onto 417 and to the airport. It could have been much worse. Shut down over 20 miles of 95 south and diverted all the traffic over to US 1 at NSB. Incredible.
But I kick myself for not checking traffic on both I-4 and 95 south to the Beach Line instead of willy nilly getting in the car and driving straight into delay hell.

On FOX I just heard that the DC Federal Judge who will be overseeing the latest LawSuit from Judicial Watch about State Department lies and collusion in withholding FOIA request info re: Hillary's Benghazi E-mails, is Judge Emmet Sullivan.
Sullivan is the Federal Judge in the Ted Stevens Case and in the Lois Lerner IRS E=mails case. He has been consistently lied to by perps in the Federal Govt, but sadly it seems no consequences ever come down on those Govt perps.
I am hoping this time he finally goes ballistic for real, instead of simply saying the right thing while the perps get away scot-free. For example:
United States District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan lambasted the misconduct of the Department’s “Public Integrity Section” lawyers in the Stevens prosecution, saying “In nearly 25 years on the bench, I’ve never seen anything approaching the mishandling and misconduct that I’ve seen in this case.” By the time Judge Sullivan uncovered the flagrant misconduct, he was livid.
Only when it became clear that Judge Sullivan was going to dismiss the indictment himself did Attorney General Holder swoop in to deflect Judge Sullivan’s ire.
Clarice or DC legal folks, do you guys have any confidence in Sullivan this 3rd time around?

Marlene,
Not the snowbirds but the truckers. Noticeablly more trucks on 95 these days. Most of the closures on the interstates 95 and 4 are due to trucks either turning over, jack knifing or running into each other or like in Jacksonville on the Buckman Bridge a SUV that broke down, catching fire and killing a mom, her two teen sons and young daughter. Navy family who just move to JAX.
Florida Highway Patrol have their hands full with the trucks and now the bikers. Thats over end of the week, thank God.

he said. “So when science tells us that our climate is changing and human beings are largely causing that change, by what right do people stand up and just say, well, I dispute that. Or I deny that elementary truth.”
Well Lurch, because "science" and "scientist" (or even a small cadre of "scientists") are actually two different words. Crazy? I know.
You have committed what is known as a category error. Gravity and the freezing point, are two things that have been observed, tested, and stood up to centuries of falsifiability.
While the crap you so naively believe has so far failed to meet even the minimum standards of science, has never stood up to falsifiability, can't be argued without reliance on logical fallacies, is largely based on forged data, nor has any of it's predictions come to pass in the time periods predicted.
Lurch, your idea of science has the same level of real science as Scientology. Fortunately, for you, you are guaranteed the right to these religious believes under the First Amendment. However, that same bit of the Constitution prohibits what you are doing when you try to make your stupid beliefs government policy.

Semis can be jerks when they go too fast but one time I was traveling east on Rt 90 in New York when I noticed that a red semi was behind me, not obnoxiously close but obviously comfortable at going the same speed I was (about 75) because he passed all the cars I did but always got in the lane behind me. For some reason I found it oddly comforting that he was there, figuring that he had a radar detector and if he suddenly dropped back I'd do likewise and hope I did it in time. That never happened and he followed me for at least an hour, ending only when I had to get off to fill up the tank. As he passed me when I was on the exit lane I looked over and he waved to me.

And no one disputes that. Science also tells us when water temperature drops below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, it turns to ice. No one disputes that,” he said.
Must be a lot of stupid people at The Smithsonian.
Smithsonian.com: At What Temperature Does Water Freeze?
Smithsonian.Com: The answer is far more complicated than it first appears—water doesn't always turn to ice at 32 degrees Fahrenheit
The title of this post would seem an appropriate question for an elementary-school science exam, but the answer is far more complicated than it first appears. We’ve all been taught that water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, 0 degrees Celsius, 273.15 Kelvin. That’s not always the case, though. Scientists have found liquid water as cold as -40 degrees F in clouds and even cooled water down to -42 degrees F in the lab. How low could they go?
Below -55 degrees F, tiny bits of liquid water may still exist, but it would do so only for an incredibly short time
So John Kerry is only off by 87 degrees F.
Anyone dispute that?

I am not caught up, but the Judicial Watch Lawyer, Chris Farrell, on with Gretchen Carlson this morning, said that the State Department is not even fighting against Judicial Watches new claim and reopening of the old Law Suit, which specifically says that the State Department engaged in misconduct and misrepresentation to hide these emails from the Judicial Watch FOIA requests. He says that by the State Department not arguing against those charges they are conceding that those charges of misconduct and misrepresentation are true.

We both got pulled over for speeding! He didn't wave but he personally apologized to me, as we were standing outside our vehicles getting a ticket.

Wait? What? You only get a proclamation if no one challenges you to a mud wrestling match, Ann. You are hereby challenged.

Sue, Don't you still have dibs on Cheney? Sheesh!
I'll take the challenge if we can wrestle at your lake in Texas.
You have to give me boat rides, too.

rich, it's done often, I've heard. I'd say, go easy on the beef so the lamb won't be lost.
Bah, bah, bah....
