The Hill needs to keep a possible agreement by her to end her 2016 campaign as a bargaining chip for a pardon. So Team Hillary must soldier on. If her campaign collapses, she no longer has that chip.

Thomas Collins

Hillary needs to keep those campaign cookies baking, even if she doesn't desire to bake real cookies.

"Hillary Clinton: Republicans Want To Round Up Illegal Immigrants And Put Them In "Boxcars""

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/08/28/hillary_clinton_republicans_want_to_round_up_illegal_immigrants_and_put_them_in_boxcars.html

Hillary's plan: "I support comprehensive immigration reform."

Whatever that means.

maryrose

Is this Brady fined and sitting out one game thread?

Thomas Collins

Thank you, maryrose. But you'd better have Qunnipiac take a poll of my family, friends and work colleagues before becoming too adamant about my smarts. :-)

Thomas Collins

Has a deal been reached on the Brady matter?

Thomas Collins

Not yet, I guess. But, I think if the NFL would drop insistence that Brady accept the Wells Report, Brady and the NFLPA would take a one game suspension and a fine as a deal.

Under two minutes, now.

B & Co don't have to accept that. The judge will likely lift the suspension on Monday, if it goes to that.

I still think it won't. Re-arbitration can only hurt the NFL.

Perhaps the "A Different Twist On The Hillary-Watch" thread should be the August 31st proceedings Brady thread. That one is not getting much love, while this one appears to be about to take off with HillTalk.

Wait, is this a Brady thread?

jimmyk on iPhone

Oops, should have refreshed, didn't see TC's helpful comment.

TC is dead right.

She has to keep her ace alive.

The trade will be Biden-Warren for a full pardon for HRC. That might or might not include her girlfriends.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

TC from the last thread;
--I'll bet that if the numbers were known, there would be plenty of real females on Ash Mad promoting their wares for some sugar daddy action.--

The gal who did the analysis I linked previously made a pretty compelling case that out of the 5+ million chicks registered only 12,000 ever showed any sign of activity of any kind; emails sent or received, checking messages, etc.
Mighty small number for 20+ million guys checking their messages, even if every one was a champagne girl.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

--Hillary: 'Party of Lincoln has become the party of Trump'--

She thinks the Party of Jefferson becoming the party of Hideous Hillary is a better deal?

That's hilarious.

If you didn't check Skoot's link to Grassley's letter to Kerry, re: Cankles emails, you really should. Very serious crimes were committed and there is no wiggle room. I'm not qualifying that statement with 'ifs' - she did it and it's grave.

Perhaps her analysis is sound, Ignatz, but I'm doubtful. Of the over three and one-half decades of office liaisons involving "stepping out" on a current spouse or squeeze of which I'm aware, I'd say in each one, the female was just as into it as the male. If females are not significantly active on Ash Mad, they are somewhere else.

Miss Marple

TC,

Women are not interested in signing up with anonymous suitors. My guess women who are interested find plenty of willing takers within their workplaces.

No need to use a web site.

Thomas Collins

I looked at your link, Ignatz. If that's true, it just goes to reinforce my admiration for Destiny, Precious and Luscious sipping Dom with the male mark in the champagne room. Destiny, Precious and Luscious may be lying when they say they love you, but they and any "enhancements" they may have had the surgeon put in place sure are real! :-))

Beasts of England

A quick synopsis before it's boat-thirty:

The FBI retrieved a thumb drive from Hill's attorney. On that drive was data that was TS/SCI/TK/NOFORN. First of all, you can't load that level of sensitive data on an effin thumb drive. Secondly, not only would her personal attorney have to have the proper clearance - and Need To Know (which he most certainly did not!) - he would have to have the proper storage facility for that data (a SCIF) - which he did not.

Those are felonies. She'll have to lose her clearance and be forever prevented from attaining another. She won't go to jail, but you can't have a president who can't review TS documents. It's over.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

--Perhaps her analysis is sound, Ignatz, but I'm doubtful.--

I'm not sure how an account which never showed any activity could have been genuine.

I'm pretty sure she isn't saying no women wish to engage in illicit affairs, only that the evidence seems to indicate AM was a gigantic fraud.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

Didn't see your 5:21, TC.

Thomas Collins

Your remark, Miss Marple, is consistent with how my female friends who are looking react when I ask them why don't they just go to a bar where the type of men they are looking for hang out. They say they'd rather go to a singles social event. Perhaps the workplace also provides the necessary social setting.

Ignatz Ratzkiwatzki

Do you have a link to Skoot's link, Beasts?

Beasts of England

A TK security marking is not Threadkiller, but 'Talent Keyhole'. Satellite signals data. Extraordinarily sensitive. When I first worked with the program, we weren't even allowed to say 'Keyhole'. Dead serious...

Beasts of England

It's was on the 'Green Country' thread, Ig, but it linked directly to Grassley's Senate page. I'll try and find it...

Thomas Collins

Now that I think of it, I have asked females who are looking why they don't like going to a bar in a safe area. They say they'd rather go with girlfriends to a bar than go by themselves. Even a buzzing safe bar, with plenty of people of both genders, doesn't entice them when they are alone.

By the way, I denounce myself for only mentioning two genders!

GMax

The Powerline guys highlight a story that appears to be good news:

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), of which our friend Christian Adams is president, has put 141 counties on notice that they have more registered voters than people alive. These counties encompass 21 states. Michigan leads the way with 24 counties, followed by Kentucky (18) and Illinois (17). Here is the list of such counties.

The notification letters sent by PILF are a prerequisite to bringing a lawsuit against the offending counties under Section 8 of the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA). The NVRA requires state and local election officials to properly maintain voter rolls and ensure that only eligible voters are registered to vote. If a country has more registered voters than eligible citizens alive, it plainly has not properly maintained its voter rolls. (Note, however, that a voter list can be corrupted even if it contains fewer names than eligible, live citizens).

Waiting for Trump to arrive.

That reminds me of McCain, soon after winning the nomination, attending a rally headlined by long-time talk radio host Bill Cunningham. Cunningham was warming up the crowd and referred to "Barack Hussein Obama" ie. BOzo's actual name. Read this as an ode to the fact that there is no Joy in Mudville. Author is a raving progressive who Mickey Kaus calls "comrade" but do delight in his obvious angst:

The Republican demolition derby has been getting most of the publicity lately, but one should worry more about the Democrats. Consider:

Hillary Clinton is sinking like a stone. She's falling in the polls. Conversations with her longtime friends and admirers indicate grave worry. She is not generating the excitement that the first prospective woman president should; the email mess is not going away; even the money advantage is not what was anticipated.

And a self-declared socialist could defeat her in Iowa and New Hampshire. Even as she tacks left to excite the base, there is no way she can out-Sanders Sanders.

If she could just vault over the rest of the pack and claim the nomination, as she hoped when she declared her candidacy, Hillary Clinton might still be a strong nominee. But that's not going to happen. As best, the fight for eventual nomination will be a long slog, with Clinton in the role of piñata.

As sharks are drawn to blood in the water, Hillary's miseries are attracting other candidates. The latest is Joe Biden.

There is much that is admirable in Biden; but if anyone will be a weaker candidate than a wounded Clinton, it has to be Biden.

Captain Hate on the iPad

maryrose, did you know the Grovewood Tavern closed?

Extraneus

Heh. From Gmax's link:

And if Biden gets in, others may. Well-placed sources say John Kerry is tempted. He’s been a surprisingly good secretary of state. But he blew a very winnable election in 2004. Like Biden, he’s a better public official than a candidate.*

Levin's first hour was great.

He kept playing a tape from 11 years ago of Senator Hillary in an interview talking about she is "adamantly against Illegal Immigrants", then detailing how she wants the US to prosecute anybody who hires them and complaining how they hang around her New York district beating American citizens out of work opportunities.

Then Levin compared bits of that speech between her speech today about Repub's wanting to put immigrants in "boxcars."

I don't think I'll ever catch-up today.

BTW, does anyone have a link to whatever Rubio said today that aggressively went after Hillary?

Well Trump does a tapdance on a CNN reporter who wants to talk about a couple protesters outside the press conference ( likely Occupoopers or BLM or Code Stink ). Trump lets him have it, "all these people here and you want to talk about a couple of protesters. You must be from CNN. You dont cover us fairly."

Any conservative who is not nodding and smiling at that, must have been out of this country since before cable news came into being...

matt

Well, Biden did recommend the tripartite Iraq solution, which we now seem to have courtesy of his idiot boss.

The Dems are acting more and more like the CPSU. Hillary is coming across more and more like a combination of Enver Hoxha and Richard Nixon. They are blocking O'Malley as best they can as the e mail crisis spreads.

There is a reason Trump resonates. Between Obama's lawlessness and Hillary's and the sheer incompetence of our government, people are fed the hell up.
